Happy Mother's Day!!!!
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there. I hope you all get breakfast in bed or at least dinner made for you.
I'm a mother too, I have a son, so thanks Mel! In Romania we celebrate this day on 1st March! I love the pic! And it's true, mothers are super heroes! I think that fathers prefer a Cat-Woman, not a Superwoman, if you know what I mean!!! MEW!!! LOL

Haha! I've just heard from the radio that today in Romania is for the first time The Father's Day!!! From now on,on the second Sunday of May we will celebrate it! Your mothers and our fathers - imagine what great kids!!! LOL

I met the most awesome guy last night! But, he is only here for 6 weeks for a work thing. He is from California and is going home at the end of June. So I am just going to see what happens.
My mom and I always go to Pilates class together on Sunday morning, so it will be just more special today. Then my brother is making brunch at his house. That will be fun! Have a great day everyon
@cricket: sometimes i hate life as it is. Doesn´t it seem to be like normal that this guy isn´t a local?! That´s how it is like always. But maybe he´s coming back, visiting you or you visit him?! ;-) Wait and see what happens. Did you exchange numbers?
Mothers Day is like a normal day at home. My parents are on a weekend trip, my big brother flew to australia yesterday, my little brother is working and i have to volunteer at the elections. But hope you cougars could enjoy the day! :-)
What a great day, sleeping in (ok it was 8am, but that is sleeping in for me) and breakfast in bed! What could be better?!?!

Girls... some airports are closed again in europe bc of the ash clouds of hans-eyja. :-( keep your fingers crossed for me my flight will go on friday! :-/ i don´t even mind about snow. just wanna have some holiday!

My sister and I got up early today and cleaned the entire house before my mom got up! She was pretty surprised! ;D I fixed breakfast and my sister's going to fix dinner later today! I hope my mom's enjoying it! ;D

@Nicole: weekend was not the best! ;-) We lost friday with the kids, went shopping yesterday but it was so full and didn´t really found anything good. and today we lost the election over here. Now it´s a pretty bad situation really disappointing. There will be another change and a bad change... :-/ We los 10%!!
I hate it when you go shopping and can't find anything...that spoils the trip! :/
What happens now with the election? Do you have raised taxes?
My weekend was good. I went to a track meet on Friday! My school got 2nd for girls and 6th for boys! One of my best friends got 1st place for shotput and discus..she's the best in the state! ;D And I babysat yesterday! So I had a lot going on and I couldn't get on here very much... :/ But it was good!
Maybe your week will be much better! ;D I mean, you are going on your trip, so that has to be exciting! ;D

They've got the whole day planned ... we're heading out on the motorcycles for a picnic this afternoon ... hmmmm ... LOL is that a Mom treat or a Son treat????? Either way should be lots of fun!

HaHa ... My son is 12, and he reads the blog sometimes ... he just rolls his eyes and laughs at me... Guess he's pretty used to his Mom by now ... but he gets kinda irritated when some of his friends gets 'puppy dog crushes' on me. :) My daughter is 6 and she thinks Aksel is cool but she thinks Lars is cute ... and she wants to ski with them too ... but she always wants to race anyone that is faster than her ... she's a little wild daredevil ... *puts innocent look on face* wonder where she gets that! LOL ... I have pretty great kids!

My kids just gave me my Mothers Day present ... an Etch-A-Sketch ... LOL ... I have always wanted one of these and mentioned it a couple of months ago when I was playing with someones ... It's Perfect!
@Anja: I think an "Etch-a-Sketch" is what we call Zaubertafel. Du weißt schon, das Dingen, wo man mit einem "Stift" draufmalen kann, und dann geht man mit diesem Löschhebel drüber und kann neu drauf malen oder schreiben.

My weekend was good. I went to a track meet on Friday! My school got 2nd for girls and 6th for boys! One of my best friends got 1st place for shotput and discus..she's the best in the state! ;D And I babysat yesterday! So I had a lot going on and I couldn't get on here very much... :/ But it was good!
Maybe your week will be much better! ;D I mean, you are going on your trip, so that has to be exciting! ;D

@Anja: I think an "Etch-a-Sketch" is what we call Zaubertafel. Du weißt schon, das Dingen, wo man mit einem "Stift" draufmalen kann, und dann geht man mit diesem Löschhebel drüber und kann neu drauf malen oder schreiben.

an Etch-a-sketch is a little board with two knobs (when you turn one, it draws a horizontal line and the other knob draws a vertical line) ...have you seen Toy Story??? It's the red board...kinda looks like a chalk board ...that explanation probably didn't help at all!!!

It's a child's toy that you draw on the screen using the knobs and then when you want to erase it, you tip it upside down and shake it. Kinda confusing I know ... I'll see if I can find a link to explain it that will work for you. This one might work ...
