I was out so late last night and then when I got home I couldn't sleep at all. I got up at 7 and I have already gone food shopping, for a bike ride, and I took my dog for a long run. Now I am starting to get tired and I have all kinds of housework to do. Not good!

@Kristen I wish I could wear flip flops all year too. I got a pair of high Japanese style ones that are supposedly for winter, but I only wore them twice. It was just too cold!

@Nicole It is just starting to get nice and the seasonal shops are opening, so it's great!
@Anja It can get expensive in the summer if you go to the touristy towns. I stay away from them as much as I can!
It does get on my nerves sometimes. It's hard to get around on the weekends here in the summer because of all the traffic. I do my errands during the week and I know all the back roads to avoid the major bacups. I stay within my little area and it's usually fine. It's a trade off because it is so beautiful here in the summer!
Ok I have to get off my butt. I have lots of housework to do! If I don't get it done I can't go out tonight. Everyone have a great day!

Hi! I finally finished my chores, and my plans changed so I am not even going out.
I love soccer, except I do call it football because I hate American football and I love the EPL! I get a tv channel called Fox Soccer that shows almost everything.

*Crawling to couch* Whooooooaaa!!! I feel like the dude that woke up on the floor in the movie "The Hangover"...my feet are just plain numb and I just stubbed my toe coming out of the bathroom! OUCH!! I'm a little shaky this morning...it's going to be a looooong day!
Nothing real exciting to report, the girls I went out with are the girls I work with so we went to dinner first which was pretty low key until we ordered drinks. Then our conversations went straight to the gutter! ;D We were laughing so hard at one point I felt like I couldn't catch my breath, it was great! I love to laugh. Then we went to the club...there were drink specials and think thats when things got out of hand, haha! We were on the dance floor all night long! I must say the young boys really like cougars! It was sooo much fun!!!!! We all behaved really well and took our taxi home, I think the taxi driver was ready for us to get out, we were laughing and acting crazy the whole ride home!
CUT TO NOW...I am paying the price! My old cougar ass is hurting... :/
So thats about it...like I said nothing exciting, just lots of laughing, drinking, dancing and young boys trying to dance with us! I must say some of the young girls were dressed like hookers, maybe that's why they wanted to dance with us?!?!? When did the hooker look become fashionable?!?! Never a dull moment I tell ya!

@Anja Deuce's advice works. I put a glass of water and 2 asprin on the counter before I go out so that I don't forget to take them when I get home and before heading to bed. Very rarely do I get hangovers

@anja deuce is right about the water, aspirin and banana. another good ounce of prevention is watermelon....one night i drank waaay too much tequila..but between sips, i munched watermelon and it saved me. truly, i should have been face down in a gutter the next day but i was fine. hydration seems to be the key. that, or not drinking...lol!

ReplyDelete@Anja YAY, sunshine!! Wow 2 weeks, that's a long time w/out it. It will be raining here now till at least Tuesday but the past 2 days were lovely. ENJOY it while you have it.
Thank God I'm married because I'm terribly shy! I guess that's why I didn't get married until I was 30...once I'm around someone for awhile I'm good but that initial meeting is rough. I'm getting a bit better now that I'm getting older.

ReplyDeleteI was out so late last night and then when I got home I couldn't sleep at all. I got up at 7 and I have already gone food shopping, for a bike ride, and I took my dog for a long run. Now I am starting to get tired and I have all kinds of housework to do. Not good!
I am not shy at all, and I am sure no one is surprised!
@Kristen I wish I could wear flip flops all year too. I got a pair of high Japanese style ones that are supposedly for winter, but I only wore them twice. It was just too cold!

@Nicole It is just starting to get nice and the seasonal shops are opening, so it's great!
ReplyDelete@Anja It can get expensive in the summer if you go to the touristy towns. I stay away from them as much as I can!
It does get on my nerves sometimes. It's hard to get around on the weekends here in the summer because of all the traffic. I do my errands during the week and I know all the back roads to avoid the major bacups. I stay within my little area and it's usually fine. It's a trade off because it is so beautiful here in the summer!
Ok I have to get off my butt. I have lots of housework to do! If I don't get it done I can't go out tonight. Everyone have a great day!

Just rolled in from a fantastic girls night out...I really need to go to bed, my feet are killing me and I'm starting to get a headache! I probably shouldn't blog after drinking so I am going to head out until the morning...hopefully my hubby will let me sleep in! ;D It was a great time tho, totally worth the aching foot pain, haha!

ReplyDelete*Crawling to couch* Whooooooaaa!!! I feel like the dude that woke up on the floor in the movie "The Hangover"...my feet are just plain numb and I just stubbed my toe coming out of the bathroom! OUCH!! I'm a little shaky this morning...it's going to be a looooong day!
ReplyDeleteNothing real exciting to report, the girls I went out with are the girls I work with so we went to dinner first which was pretty low key until we ordered drinks. Then our conversations went straight to the gutter! ;D We were laughing so hard at one point I felt like I couldn't catch my breath, it was great! I love to laugh. Then we went to the club...there were drink specials and think thats when things got out of hand, haha! We were on the dance floor all night long! I must say the young boys really like cougars! It was sooo much fun!!!!! We all behaved really well and took our taxi home, I think the taxi driver was ready for us to get out, we were laughing and acting crazy the whole ride home!
CUT TO NOW...I am paying the price! My old cougar ass is hurting... :/
So thats about it...like I said nothing exciting, just lots of laughing, drinking, dancing and young boys trying to dance with us! I must say some of the young girls were dressed like hookers, maybe that's why they wanted to dance with us?!?!? When did the hooker look become fashionable?!?! Never a dull moment I tell ya!
I will post some pics on Facebook and try and put the link on here then...
I need to start laundry and then take a nap!

ReplyDelete@Anja Deuce's advice works. I put a glass of water and 2 asprin on the counter before I go out so that I don't forget to take them when I get home and before heading to bed. Very rarely do I get hangovers

@anja deuce is right about the water, aspirin and banana. another good ounce of prevention is watermelon....one night i drank waaay too much tequila..but between sips, i munched watermelon and it saved me. truly, i should have been face down in a gutter the next day but i was fine. hydration seems to be the key. that, or not drinking...lol!
@Anja I did the water and asprin thing, just not the banana. I'll have to remember that for next time. (eventhough when I woke up this morning I said 'never again') I'm sure I'll say that next time too!
