Birthday Party At McDonald's

Waiting for the people to clean up the party before ours. They told us that we cancelled the party this morning *rolls eyes* Why would we do that when we had almost 20 kids coming?

Emmy turned 8 this year so she got a McDonalds party with all her friends.

Becca turned 9 in december & she never had her McDonald's party so we had a double party.

The Cake! It was ok. A bit dry though.

The lady that was serving us gave our fries & ice cream to people that wasn't even in our party. When we went up to pay we told the Assistant Manager & he said with an attitude 'Oh no we don't do that.' BS My Mom said do you want me to go get the other adults from the party? We got a major discount too. It should have cost us almost $80 & it was only $35. Mom is going to call the 1-800 number & complain about him calling her a liar & getting an attitude with her.

Anyway, over all it was a great party for the kids! They had a blast & got some nice presents. The next birthday is Bella's & that one is going to be at the bowling alley. I gotta ask Mary when it is so I can get that day off.

Good Transportation?

I so would not have gotten in this teeny tiny itty bitty plane. Small spaces freak me out. I'm such a scardy cat. It's awesome that Aksel isn't though. Anyway, Congrats to Aksel on 1st in SC, congrats to Lars on 3rd & congrats to Kjetil on 4th.

Full Moon

I took these tonight of the full moon. Tonight's moon is called a Perigee Moon & it's brighter than a normal full moon. Which can cause it to look bigger than it is. It is 50,000km closer to the earth tonight. Exciting! The last time this happened was in March 1993. I just wish I had a better camera to capture it.

No Race, But Prizegiving

I find it odd that they had the prizegivings without the races, but as long as they can figure out who the top 3 are I guess it works. Good luck to everybody in the next race!

1/2oz Berenlzen Apfel Karn

1/2oz Clantarf Irish Whiskey

Champagne

1/2oz Lemon Juice

1/2oz Simple Syrup

Shake with ice & strain into a martini glass. Top with champagne.

Blarney Stone Cocktail

1/2tsp Triple Sec

1/4tsp Maraschino Liqueur

2oz Irish Whiskey

1/2tsp Anisette

1 dash Bitters

Shake with ice & strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange & an olive.

Irish Shillelagh

1tbsp White Rum

1tbsp Sloe Gin

1 1/2oz Irish Whiskey

1oz Lemon Juice

1tsp Powdered sugar

Shake with ice & strain into an Irish coffee glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries, a strawberry, a cherry & 2 peach slices.

Shamrock Shooter

1/3oz Creme de Cacao

1/3oz Creme de Menthe

1/3oz Irish Cream

Layer in a shot glass.

Emmy Playing The Piano

Emmy has taught herself how to play the piano. I think she's pretty good. I think she's a child prodigy. Grammy Di taught her to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star & Maddy(her friend) taught her the first part of a Mozart song & she taught herself the rest. It too Maddy 5 months to learn it & it took Emmy 15 minutes! I'm so proud of her.

New Drinks

Absolute Strawberry Kiss

1 1/2oz Strawberry Liqueur

Champagne

1 Splash Cranberry Juice

1 Splash Pineapple Juice

Serve in a champagne flute & garnish with a strawberry

Blue Hawaiian Punch

1 Bottle Champagne

1 Bottle Maui Blue Hawaiian Schnapps

Pineapple Juice

Add both bottles of alcohol & then pineapple juice to taste.

Green Hornet

1/2oz Blue Curacao

1/2oz Midori

1/2oz Peach Schnapps

1 1/2oz Pineapple Juice

1 1/2oz Sour Mix

Shake with ice & sstrain into an oldd-fashioned glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge & a cherry.

Top Gun

1/2oz Irish cream

1/2oz Vodka

1/6oz Blue Curacao

1/6oz Cherry Brandy

1/6oz Milk

Layor curacao, brandy & milk in a shot glass then pour in the Irish cream & vodka.

Last one. I thought that maybe I should make JM a drink too.

Blue Hawaiian/JM

1oz Blue Curacao

1oz White Rum

1oz Coconut Cream

2oz Pineapple Juice

Blend with 1 cup of ice at high speed until smooth & pour into a highball glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple & a cherry.
