Betty is over with. *breaks down crying* I have watched Betty from the begining. Mostly because of Daniel...but also because I love a good romance. Well it was mostly sexual tense between these two. I'm so glad that he followed her to London. I think I'll rewrite the song Johnny & June & make it Betty & Daniel. They are taking all my shows away. *looks over at the TV people* If I promise to be very very good can I please keep my shows? *bottom lip trembles* Today was not a good day. *starts mixing up a pitcher of strawberry daquiris*
On the bright side this blog is still a safe place where we all can come & have fun.
Aloha! Yippee! I'm the first one!
ReplyDeleteI love how Betty looks so happy with Daniel. Sorta how I feel with Aksel (sigh!)...anyway, that's how dreams and real life should look like...a handsome Norwegian skier slow dancing the night away with you and smiling down at you (I'm short).
I'll have to catch this episode...i'm a mushy romantic! (fist bump with Mel)

I love this show Mel!!! I am so sad that it has ended too! :( I DVR'd last nights episode and am hoping to watch it tonight *fingers crossed*. I too have watched this it since the beginning. It such a shame when they cancel good wholesome shows such as this. *sniff sniff* :'(
ReplyDeleteOk...clearly it's too early for me, *note to self* check post and edit if necessary... ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope all of you ladies have a fantastic day! We are looking at close to 80F here today, it's going to be AWESOME out! I'll be back to check in later this afternoon...save a drink or two for me till then, it's too early to start now, or is it?!?!? Haha! ;D
Cheers!!
So I never watched this show. Is it any good? I just googled it and it sounds like a show the german tv made a couple years ago. If I remember it correctly it was called "verliebt in Berlin" or so...
ReplyDeleteDoes she get her "prince" in the end?
Haha Mel, you probably just ruined the end for all the europeans who watch the show. :D Since we are always 2 or 3 seasons behind the americans.
@Kim It's never to early for a drink! :D Just made up my mind about that too. :D
See ya!
Hi everyone!
ReplyDeleteI watched just a few episodes because they put it too late in the night. But I watched the whole latino version and I loved it!
@Kristen
You're lucky! Here it's raining and it's cold. Ugly wheater! It makes me sad... I need a drink too!
Cheers!
Since this blog is related to fashion follow the link, this is a cool idea.

Hi Anja,
ReplyDeleteugly betty it pretty much the same like Verliebt in Berlin! Just another copy of the (good) american stuff! ;-)
btw: end? which end? did anyone expect a new man on her side? In these stories the girls always get the aksel ähh sorry price!
How are the plans for the party going? Flight booked? Hotel rooms clean?
Oh we are drinking again... cheers girls!
Did anyone ever saw a boy/man in here?
oh.. this stuff above wasn´t only for anja! ;-)
ReplyDelete@michelle: welcome to the block (hahaha)
oh.. it just worked so well last time!
SEND YOU A BIG HUG!!!!!!! :-)
@ Teekanne
ReplyDeleteThe only man here is Kjetil, our dearest bartender, but I don't see him anymore...Maybe is shy and don't feel comfortable with so many women around him!
Hugs for you too!!!
@Teekanne Well true about the end. But I always expect the unexpected. You never know! :D Well I guess a lot of people would have been disappointed with another end.
ReplyDeleteSo where were you planning to celebrate? Just so I can join you. :D There's no way I'm going to miss you girls singing and dancing on the table. I even bring the corona, still got 5 in the fridge.
*Takes out the corona and the lime*
So who wants some? :)
Hey German girls!
ReplyDeleteI love your Eurovision song - Satellite! Lena has a great voice! Congratulation!
@dana yeah they do! I love this song. Switzerland has a crappy song though. I mean I don't even know this guy and he's suposed to be kinda famous. Haha
ReplyDeleteWell Norway has a beautiful song too.
http://www.eurovision.tv/event/artistdetail?song=24873&event=1493
@Anja (Cold Corona with Lime...You are like my own personal Savior this morning...I'll take one)
ReplyDeleteIs it still considered too early in the morning to drink if you've just gotten off a 21 hour shift!!!!...Long night in the ER :( So technically it's still nighttime right!
(Looks around for the bartender) *Anyone seen Kjetil???*** (Flops into lawn chair and slides feet into the warm sand) **Aaahhhh** (I'll be ready to sing and dance on the table with you ladies in a few minutes) :D
(Takes a long slow sip of Corona) So let me see if I have this right ... We're gonna have a contest to see who can entice the first Attacking Viking to Post a reply on the Blog? I'm Game!!!! (High Five Brenda) :D But then again I'll try anything once...My personal philosophy is that you just have to weight the fun to pain ration before you decide if your gonna jump feet first or head first!
**Stretches and yawns** I might just need to take a quick nap or somethin somethin first! **devilish grin** (hmmm...Wonder if Simen is around this morning)
@ Deuce LMAO He's around here somewhere he's the day shift bartender now.
ReplyDeleteHave you guys noticed that one person seems to be in the middle of all the fights on Aksels blog? I just noticed it... It makes me wonder if she really likes to fight with people.
@Deuce oh poor you! :( want another one? I even got some Chips or "Kinder Schokobons". Or... Well that's about it.
ReplyDeleteWell here it's 6.50 pm, so just think you're over here and then its not too early anymore to drink something. :D
@Anja
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Norway's song is beautiful.
In my opinion my country's song is not very bad, but not the best - "Playing with fire".
@Deuce
It's always the right time to drink when you're thirsty! Come here to drink, it is 7:56 pm!
hi to everyone!
ReplyDeleteyou girls a real crazy and funny,but in a good way.
i think the song of lena is great, i got the cd in my car and hear the song the everytime i drive.
drinking rules: It's always 5 o'clock somewhere! Drink anytime you like:)
ReplyDelete@dana Well I like "playing with fire" too, but not so much that i would load it on my ipod. Sorry. But still way better than ours.
ReplyDeleteWell I wonder who's going to win.
@deuce oh sorry, I though you're from america. Don't know why I thought that though.
Well I think it's never too early to drink too. But I though if i write that here, you're going to think I'm an alcoholic... :S
Which I'm not, at least 5 days a week. Haha :D
@ Corinna
ReplyDeleteAlways welcome! Thanks for "you girls are really crazy" I think this is our fundamental characteristic! Ha ha!
oh damnit! I really should read my comment before i post. That was dana who wrote to deuce. Sorry! haha! Gosh I should stop drinking... :D
ReplyDeleteoh damnit! I really should read my comment before I post. That was dana who wrote to deuce. Sorry! Haha
ReplyDeleteI should stop drinking... :S
@Corinna Welcome!
Can I pretty please have Didrik Solli-Tangen? Please oh please can I? Ok he is younger than me & I usually go for older men, but I'd make an exception for him. LOL
ReplyDeleteAnother show I don't watch! I don't know why, but I never got into this one. I am sad 24 has been canceled. Gonna miss my weekly dose of Jack Bauer!
ReplyDelete@Mel... I've noticed that. Interesting, isn't it? Some people need to learn to play nice.
@Deuce... 21 hour shift? Crazy!! You deserve a good stiff drink or two.
I'm settling into my birthday blues, so everyone has permission to drink all day all night all weekend. I'll start with a couple of banana daiquiris, please!
@Anja
ReplyDeleteDon't be sorry! I just said "Playing with fire" is not good enough!
Ha ha ha! I think you should too! Or maybe you're in one of two days a week when you can drink!
@ Corinna Welcome to our little blog party!
ReplyDelete@ Kim they do need to learn to play nice.
ReplyDelete@ everyone I invited Sarah P to join our little party.
@dana Well I'll just make it one of those days. :D You know what's kinda sad though, this kinda thing could just as well have happened when I wouldn't be drinking one Corona. haha
ReplyDelete@Mel Couldn't find Simen anywhere...so, I went for a run instead. **sigh** :(
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that there are a couple of people that like creating drama on Aksel's Blog...I encourage discussions and fun, but I don't do drama or disrespect. Some people need to play nice! :)
@Anja ... I am from USA...Oregon. It is only 11:30am here. :D "Ich Mochte ein Bier...Corona Bitte...Eins, Swei, G'suffa!"
@Kim...I am a medic and clinical nutritionist...kind of an odd combination I know...and sometimes working emergency is crazy...especially on full moon nights...Was it a full moon last night???? LOL
Birthday Blues...A Birthday is a really good excuse to have fun...So let loose...Dance on the bar...We'll have one of the Attacking Vikings carry you to your room if you stumble! :)
@ Deuce
ReplyDeleteIn your opinion, as a medic, have we any chance to recover? I mean mental! I fell I'm addicted to this blog, what treatment you recommend me?
@deuce puh so I wasn't mistaken about that. *cancells her appointment at the shrink again* :D
ReplyDeletesorry but what do you mean with G'suffa? That sounds like swiss german, but it wasn't intendet to be, was it? *pulls out her german dictionary*
I wonder, if some people over there, are stirring the drama on purpose. Well I'm glad that I'm allowed to hide over here, where all the fun is. :D
@dana lol well this blog is very addictive... :)
@Anja...LOL...g'suffa = drink?
ReplyDeleteMy Mom is from Burghaslach Germany and she tells me all the time my German is terrible and very slang. But each time I visit all of my relatives want to practice their English, so we mostly speak English! :) And sometimes I get my German, and French mixed up. I really need to practice ... I use my Spanish skills a lot And I want to learn Norwegian! **sheepish grin** (Although there is something to be said by using body language to communicate... hmmm.... Maybe Simen will help me learn Norwegian)
@Dana...LMAO...Thank Goodness there is no cure for FUN!...so, the best treatment is everyone will have to keep coming to the Blog Party for their medicinal dose of Crazy Fun!
Hey,
ReplyDeletejust got back from aerobics class...I'm dead beat, again.
WELCOME new blogers.
@Deuce: Would Simen helping you learn Norwegian be an example of twisting...uh I mean learning your respective native tongues:)
ReplyDeleteGood evening to everybody!
ReplyDeleteHey deuce, that's advanced bavarian :-D
Ok, I'm from North-Rhine Westphalia (westphalian part) and don't speak to much bavarian (don't even talk of understanding if a Bavarian talks too fast). But I've an uncle down there. If you want to write it in real bavarian it's: oans, zwoa g'suffa *lol*
@Anja: oans, zwoa, g'suffa means something like: one, two, guzzled.
It's the bavarian battle cry at Oktoberfest ;-)
Cheers!
@deuce Haha ok I'll remember that. In swiss german we just say "suffa", without the g. That kind of confuse me. :D
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about mixing languages. I always to that with italian, french and "romanisch" (sorry don't know the word in english). But you end up with quite funny sentences sometimes. :)
@Buckeye Gal lmao :D btw your joke on the other blog was hilarious!
@cjal...Oktoberfest...never been but always wanted to go. One more thing to do before I'm...hmmm....50?!
ReplyDelete@cjal good evening to you too! Ok, I see. Well looks like I need to visit a german oktoberfest soon! It's a same I still wasn't on one yet.
ReplyDeleteWell as long as you say "prooosscht" I'll know when to drink my beer. :D
oopss meant shame... Haha sorry! :)
ReplyDeleteIf this is the doctor's order - let's party!!!
ReplyDeleteBartender, a corona please!
Cheers!
@Deuce
How can you resist so many hours at work? Are you sure you're not a kind of cyborg? Ha ha!
@Anja
In english is romanian. I'm romanian!
thanks girls!
ReplyDelete@cjal are you from bavaria?
@dana no I don't mean that language. In switzerland we have a fourth language beside french, italian and german. Ha! just found a translation "Romansh". Gosh that sounds weird... Its not a very common language and not many people speak it. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyhow let's party! Since a doctor told us so, right! ;)
*throws a Corona to dana, since Kjetil has vanished...*
@Anja
ReplyDeleteSorry, but this "romanich" sounds so...romanian!!!
Thanks for the beer! Cheers!
*giggle* I am from Germany and never went to Oktoberfest. The one and only is in Munich at Theresienwiese and starts every years mid september (for 18 days). The english word for Wiese is meadow - Wies'n is another word for that fest. But really, I don't think I've missed too much until now. There are 6 - 7 million people every year to join Oktoberfest. A really big crowd of drunken people who are so busy to have fun that most of them don't have fun. The beer is incredible expensive and you can get it only in steins of 1 liter (so called Maßkrug).
ReplyDeleteNever get a stein away, the landlord will press criminal charges against you (no fun!).
And if you want to order a stein just say: a (=one) maß!
Ok...trink ma no a maß :-D - cheers! or in german: PROST!
Good Afternoon/evening chickas!!! I see the same ol' BS is still going on over at Aksel's blog, what a shame! Thanks @Buckeye Gal for posting the joke...it was awesome and so very true! haha!! They all really need to lighten up!
ReplyDelete@Kim in WA - 24 is our favorite show! We've been fans since the beginning...I am soooo going to miss Jack Bauer!!! :(
QUESTION:
@everyone...I take a class at the gym called Zumba, have any of you heard of it? I've been taking it since July of last year and have toned up so much and lost 40 lbs (baby weight) so far...(only 10 more lbs to go until I get to my pre-children weight, yay!) I was just wondering if it was something that is done only in certain parts of the US or if it was known in other parts of the world. It's a fantastic workout! I love it!!
@Corinna: Gott bewahre, ich bin aus Westfalen! (God forbid! I'm from Westphalia).
ReplyDeleteIf ever emerge that a westphalian person explains the bavarian language to crazy ALS-fans spread all over the world...I better should run for my life *lmao*
@cjal
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! If you will travel someday in Romania or you'll drink with some romanian people please don't say PROST when you'll toast! In romanian that means FOOL!!!
@Mel I love Ugly Betty!!!
ReplyDelete@Anja It used to be a show in Spanish: Betty La Fea
@dana They used to show it at a good time over here...and then it was on really late, so I missed the entire last season! ...except for the last episode! I tuned in for that one!!! lol ;D ...I'm addicted to the blog too!!!! lol ;D
@Kim I don't think it's ever too early to drink on this blog! ;D Happy Birthday btw!!! Don't let the blues bring you down! Don't worry...beeee HAPPY! don't worry be happy oooo...*and I'm bursting into song!
@Deuce You work in the ER? I don't think I could do that! I applaud you! ...so, now we've turned Simen into a victim?!?! poor guy! lol ;D ...*smacks hand agaisnt forehead* So you want Simen to "teach" you Norwegian??? lol ;P haha
Welcome Corinna!!!
@Buckeye Gal "twisting tongues" Where is this going ladies??? I missed a lot!!! haha ;D
LOL I love the conversations on here! Btw, I'm gonna get that prize Brenda!!! *putting my game face on and painting some war marks on my cheeks*
Spoiler Alert:
all right, so in the Spanish version of the show, Betty gets the man. I guess this kind of worked out that way...but, HONESTLY!!! Is anybody else annoyed by the fact that they didn't kiss?!?! I mean, COME! ON! lol ;P
Gee dana, poor Alain Prost...so his lastname means fool. He should marry some person with an appropriate or never show up at Romania *lol*
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for information. You never know when you need it!
Btw what's the romanian word for prost or cheers? Hey we'll be the most international bunch of cougars! *lol*
All right! I have two perfect...well, I think they're perfect...poems! The first is one of my favorites...and I just found the second one today! They both deal with the decision-making, path-of-life situation going on right now!
ReplyDeleteThe Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~Robert Frost
@Kristen PA *cheering realy loud* great job!!!
ReplyDelete@nicole thanks for the welcome on the other post. just saw it. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry gotta share this video. The cat is just soo cute. :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9NP-AeKX40&feature=topvideos
And I'm watchin hockey at the moment. for the recort swiss hockey... haha on every team 5 guys on the penalty bench... haven't seen that before. That's an interesting match for once.. :D
Sorry off topic... oh wait that's allowed here! :D
I'm sorry they're soooo long! ;D
ReplyDeleteGet Drunk
Always be drunk.
That's it!
The great imperative!
In order not to feel
Time's horrid fardel
bruise your shoulders,
grinding you into the earth,
Get drunk and stay that way.
On what?
On wine, poetry, virtue, whatever.
But get drunk.
And if you sometimes happen to wake up
on the porches of a palace,
in the green grass of a ditch,
in the dismal loneliness of your own room,
your drunkenness gone or disappearing,
ask the wind,
the wave,
the star,
the bird,
the clock,
ask everything that flees,
everything that groans
or rolls
or sings,
everything that speaks,
ask what time it is;
and the wind,
the wave,
the star,
the bird,
the clock
will answer you:
"Time to get drunk!
Don't be martyred slaves of Time,
Get drunk!
Stay drunk!
On wine, virtue, poetry, whatever!"
~charles baudelaire
@Anja Cute video!!! ;D and yes...get off topic!!! lol ;D
ReplyDeleteHi girls :)
ReplyDeleteHere are the results from the norwegian jury.... Just kidding :)
Aksel has been on Norwgian tv about an hour ago. After what he said it seems like he has gone over to HEAD ;) He said that for him the biggest thing he could do beside ski for another nation is canging to antother ski.
@Nicole Haha! The second one is great... priceless... :D Thanks for sharing! :D
ReplyDeleteOoops didn't noticed: happy birthday Kim! All the best wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteNo need to get the blues - just remember the 29 b, c, d etc. ;-)
@cjal
ReplyDeleteThe fact is that Alan Prost just visited Romania two weeks ago! He was invited to present the new Dacia Duster (a romanian car under Renault licence!)Ha ha!
Cheers! Prost! Noroc!(That's means good luck, fortune)
@Nicole
I saw they kissing in her "ugly" period!!!
Happy birthday Kim!! :)
ReplyDelete@Anne-May: thanks for that information. Ok, if he has been on Norwegian tv he couldn'd blog at the same times. We should forgive him *lol*
ReplyDeleteBut if he decides to ski for another nation...no, that wouldn't be forgiven :-P
@dana haha It's not the same though! I kept waiting for it to happen! Seriously, I was on edge of my chair and....nothing!!! :O It would've been perfect timing too!!!
ReplyDelete@Kim Happy Birthday from me too! :D
ReplyDeletehmm, I start to feel kinda young... Am I still aloud to party with you even if I'm in my early twenties? haha I'm pretty sure you could teach me some tings... :D
@cjal lol. I cant ever imagine he would ski for another nation. If he did maybe he would ski for Russia...lol
ReplyDeleteWe would never forgive him if he flaggs out... hehe
@Anja Of course, you can join even though you feel young!!! ...so do I!!!! like I've said...I'm nowhere near cougarville! I'm definitely a young'un!!! lol ;D
ReplyDelete@gordana haha I know exactly what you'll be wearing if the boys visit!!! That sexy bikini from Victoria's Secret, the could-kill-you-any-second-if-you-dare-to-take-a-step-in-them heels, and long clean newly-shaven legs!!! ;D
ReplyDelete@Anne-May and cjal ayayay! No talk of switching! please!!! Unless he wants to help out Puerto Rico...not many skiiers from there! haha ;D
@cjal LOL..."oans, zwoa, g'suffa means something like: one, two, guzzled." I LOVE IT! I think I might just put that on a T-shirt and wear it too a bar to see how many people ask me what it means! :D Mixing up languages is almost as funny as using Google Translator! **Looks around for Cellar Boy**
ReplyDeleteDo the Attacking Vikings have a battle cry????
Maybe one of the Attacking Vikings will stop by and share it with us???? **hint, hint, wink, wink to Aksel, Lars, Kjetil, Simen**
@Dana...LMAO...Cyborgs! :D Sometime you feel like it...you learn to live with naps and massive amounts of Starbucks! Thankfully 21 hours is not normal, just sometimes necessary.

@Kim
ReplyDeleteI drink for you! Happy birthday!
Hi Anne-May! I hope this information will calm down some people, at last!
@Nicole They can't kiss because of you, sittin on the edge of your chair and staring to them! Maybe they are shy... Some privacy, please! Ha ha!
Just read this on Lars' site! :{ Please get better soon, Mona!
ReplyDeleteMona Løseth injured
Our Norwegian teammate Mona Løseth had an accident at todays giant-slalom training in Hemsedal. She broke both the fibula and her tibula in her shin. This was very rough to hear, and another reminder of how brutal this sport can be. The surgery will be done tonight, it´s nothing else to do then to wish her good luck. With her amazing talent and mental strength, I´m sure she will be back, stronger then ever.
"immersing yourself in the natives" DEUCE!!!! You naughty naughty woman!!! :O
ReplyDelete@Kim: happy birthday!
ReplyDelete@dana Well, sorry, but I really wanted them to kiss!!! I hate it when that happens in movies...it's the perfect time...and it doesn't! Really, directors??? THAT'S the way you're going to keep it suspenseful? Really? lol ;P
ReplyDelete@Teekanne :{ No...I don't have my flight booked! Broke! :`{

ReplyDelete@Nicole Haha I think I'm even younger than you are. If I remember correctly. A long way to cougarville for me too! :D
ReplyDelete@Deuce Haha! You cracking me up!!! Priceless. But where you're right, you're right. (is there such a sentence in english? There is in german.) :)
Maybe we get to hear the battle cry, when they are running from us. After they read some posts here. :P cough tutu cough
awww, poor Mona! :( Let's hope she's back on track soon! *shouts* Get well soon! :D
@Kristen ~ PA - I received the Zumba fitness dvds as a gift a couple of years ago, but I have never opened them. Thanks for sharing your success story; it inspires me to crack those babies open and see if they can help me tone up before my friends wedding in a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
(keeps looking at clock waiting until it is quitting time at work. I am ready to join everyone for a couple of rounds of drinks.)
@Anja I don't know...I'm pretty young! lol I seem more mature than my age! ;D

ReplyDelete@gordana That's true i guess.
ReplyDeleteSo today I felt like 15 again, when a cashier asked me for my ID when I bought some beer. That didn't happen to me since 6 years... haha not even when I would not have been allowed to buy some...

@Nicole Trust me I can't. Haha It's the same like me singing. I have to fear Amnesty International would imprison me for torture other people... :D I leave this to people who can do such sings without tortureing others. :D
ReplyDelete@Anja & Nicole
ReplyDeleteThe problem is till yesterday I couldn't write two rhymes in english and now I can't stop myself! I'm afraid they'll give me the Literature Nobel Prize!ha ha
We are sistas anyway!!! Well comeback mt dear James Bond girl
@dana Then go for that prize!!!
ReplyDelete@anja "Can't" does not exist!!!
well I don't see my post yet. Maybe it's going to show in a bit.
ReplyDelete@nicole you can have my piece of cake if I get your beer insteat? Since it's one of my two day I'm allowed to sound like a alcoholic, I'd prefer the alkohol.:D
@Anja you can read my first one on Goodbye Marius. I'm a pale copy of Texas fan (Lacy!!) on Aksel's blog. But you can try too,doesn't hurt! Haha!
ReplyDeleteNicole "can't" does not exist! Right! I'm the best example!
@dana I've read that too and it's great! I'm following this and akels blog since the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same Anja that commented in the first post here. If you were wondering. :D
Close your eyes and put your head on my shoulder
ReplyDeleteThe grief on your face it makes you look older
I know the pain that you are passing through
The good ones hurt more than the bad ones do
There are moments in life when you can't keep the balance
Don't talk! I would like to listen your silence
Let your eyes cry like you never did before
I'm here,with you! That's why the friends are for!
Just close your eyes and put your head on my shoulder...
Girls I think I went really crazy! It's the 3rd night when I go to bad at 2am! So good night sweet dreams and keep the same you are: crazy, wild and funny! kisses for you all!
ReplyDelete@dana wow looks like we're having a poet among us... :) It's great and that not in your native language... I'm impressed!
ReplyDelete@dana good night! sleep well and sweet dreams! Kisses back to you! I guess we'll see each other tomorrow! :D

Back from Zumba *soaking wet sweated* (hot look, right?!?! LOL)
ReplyDeleteThanks Gordana!! *hugs* It's hard work shedding unwanted lbs. but the results are worth it. :)
@Deuce, I do kickboxing on Wednesdays and Saturdays (LOVE IT!!!) and Zumba Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday...I'm addicted to the gym! I am in the best shape of my life and for being a "cougar" (haha) and turning 40 in a few months I look the best and feel the best I've ever felt! YAY! :D Let's hear it for the COUGARS! LMAO!! Look out ladies!! *wink wink*
Someone pass me a Corona (if there's any left, I am drenched and need a refreshing drink) I'm sure beer isn't the best thing to drink after working out but its to toast Kim in WA...HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!
@Becky...open those DVDS! Its something you have to get used to doing but I've really gained so much strength in areas that I've never had it before...I love taking the class with everyone at the gym because its like one big dance party and our instructor is AWESOME! Give it a try!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
I didn't have a chance to read all the posts above but did I see someone blaming the cougars for something!?!?! haha!!
@Michelle Thanks for the link! ;D
ReplyDeleteAlthough we are very far
Nothing seems to stop us
Our conversations can get quite bizarre
But we've warned others about this
We come and gather
From multiple countries
We gossip, we joke, we chit and chatter
But you know what this means?
Though in person
We have not met
We all seem to connect
Cougars, sistas, young'uns
All alike
Making jokes about Attacking Vikings
And not once getting into a fight
Lol, haha, exclamation point
Definitely not rare
You can find them in my posts
And pretty much everywhere
The asylum's waiting
But I'm sorry
Because these girls are staying
We're gonna Party
lol
@Kristen Congratulations! And happy early birthday! haha ;D *soaking hot sweated* ...are you trying to get the guys to notice you??? lol ;D
ReplyDelete@Cougars Is it diet/workout season??? Seems like everyone's getting fit! lol ;D That's good though...healthy...so not complaining!
@michelle thanks for the link. I googled jack handey and found some nice quotes.
ReplyDelete"When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job."
"A good way to threaten somebody is to light a stick of dynamite. Then you call the guy and hold the burning fuse up to the phone. "Hear that?" you say. "That's dynamite, baby."
haha :D
@Anja Thanks ,you're too nice! Take care! Of course we'll see each other tomorrow! bye
ReplyDelete@Michelle Thanks you too. Nice deep thoughts! Good night again, sweet dreams about some handsome Vikings!!!
@Nicole You're one of the reason I started this! You're the Master!! Thanks, you're very kind! I guess I made some misspelling...
SO GOOD NIGHT! Tomorrow at work I'll be dizzy and I even don't drink, he he!
@Nicole mabye one day I'll come up with one. When you all aren't expecting it. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha the peom is great and so true! :D
@Kristen Happy early Birthday! Wow 6 days at the gym. I wish I had this discipline...
So was there a corona request? I still got some in the fridge. Want some lime too?
*goes searching for kjetil in the meantime and wonders who's kidnapped him...* :P
I meant 'I even DIDN'T drink' Bye
ReplyDelete@Anja haha love the second quote! ;D
ReplyDelete@dana Don't worry about spelling things wrong...everyone does it!!! ;D ...and you make me blush! lol ;P Good night!!!
ReplyDelete@Anja Let me pull out my leather jacket...turn on the James Bond theme...let's go, sista! He's gotta be around!
There once was a man from Kjeller
ReplyDeleteWho seemed like a nice enough feller
He brought us together
*did someone mention black leather?*
Kjetil - pass us the W.L. Weller!
@Anja...thanks...and yes, I would love a lime for my Corona! ;D That second quote is CLASSIC! I love it! LOL!!!
ReplyDelete@Nicole...whatever it takes baby! haha! And if being soaking wet sweated is what it takes, I'm in!! ;D
@Michelle LOL I love it! Great job!!! Yay!!!! More poets in our midst! ;D
ReplyDelete@Nicole yea the second one's great.
ReplyDeleteI even got the music for our recover mission! :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ii1tc493bZM&feature=fvst
Well you gotta teach me some moves first then. :D
@Michelle wow! You girls are all so talanted!!! :D I'm jealous.
Looks like I really need to try one too. :D
@Kristen You're welcome! *hands Kristen some lime* :D
ReplyDeleteSo everyone. It's 2am here and I gotta go to bed. Good night to everyone and sleep well!
ReplyDelete*Hands out some corona and lime to everyone before the bar is closing*
See you all tomorrow and have a nice evening all!
@cougars don't party way to wild, remember Nicole has to babysit you now alone! :P
Nite nite! Hugs!
@Anja The music is perfect! And don't worry, I think I can handle the Cougars!!! They really aren't bad!!! lol ;P
ReplyDeleteI've got to leave too! So Good night sistas!!! Sleep tight, and we'll all talk tomorrow! ;D
WOOHOO!!! BABYSITTER'S GONE!!!! Let's break out the good stuff ;)
ReplyDelete*knock knock knock* hello? hello? is anyone in here? where did the party go?
ReplyDeleteI've heard drinking alone isn't a good sign
Aloha everyone!
ReplyDeleteCrap...is it just you and me @Michelle? ok, i guess we'll have to find Simen...
@Kristen...go girl! I'd give anything to do Zumba but presently recovering from ACL surgery.
@Anja, Michelle, and newcomers I didn't greet at the door...welcome (hands over chips). Sorry we have no dip...Viking the Beagle and Fairy the Sheltie slurped all the dip. They're pooping it all out back.
@Kim - Happy Birthday! Wishing a tall handsome, single, available Viking dancing shirtless on top of the table for your present
Contestants...don't forget..evidence of Aksel replying to you is that he post immediately after your blog or mention you by name or refers to your blog comment...and you need to let me know! You must officially let me know you're in the game, or how else can i send you your prize?
(**plops down on Aksel Twister mat**) Oh, Aksel...i'll keep you company. This may be the only time i get to lie on you.
Thanks for the Frost poem and beautiful Norway song! love em!
**Walks in looking slightly dissheveled, hands @Brenda a cold Corona and plops down on the Twister map)
ReplyDelete@Brenda...Aloha!...BTW Simen will be along shortly he is recovering from...ummmm I mean reviewing our language lession. ;D
**exchanges sly grin and knuckle bump** I'm in...Sign me up for Attacking Viking Reply Contest. **leans over to grab another corona and spin the Twister wheel** Lands on Right hand Yellow ... Sorry Aksel, but I gotta put my hand there, it's what the Wheel said! **okay @Brenda your turn**
@Michelle...LOL...There is no such a things as drinking alone on the Party Blog...We like to refer too it as Keeping the Home Fires Burning!
@All the Younguns...**You might want to start taking Cougar notes...Cuz if I knew at 24 what I know at 38...**slight blush...okay I'm not really blushing** :D
@Deuce thanks for the Corona...let me know how lessons are coming along (fist bump)...yeah baby! And you're on the list...
ReplyDelete(spins Twister wheel...left foot green) Jeez Loweez...Aksel, cover your eyes...not allowed to look up there
@Michelle...ok girl..you're up...
Sorry I took Simen to work with me. Seriously I saw this guy who
ReplyDeletelooked just like him @ work. Right down to his glasses. I always miss the party. Drinking alone is bad? *hides empty vodka bottles*
@Mel...okay, I had to google and utube Didrik Solli-Tangen...I like it, he's got an amazing voice, but I enjoy all kinds of music...except not too fond of Rap.
ReplyDeleteAlso googled "Viking Battle Yell" ... havent come up with any great yet!
*spins twister...left hand blue* YAY!!! My favorite part!!!
ReplyDelete@Mel...No wonder I couldn't find Simen this afternoon...so went looking for Lars and he was heading to the office in Hallingdal... Someone keeps kidnapping Kjetil from behind the bar ...And Aksel is all tied up with Twister? Man it's hard work stalking these Vikings! LOL ;)
ReplyDelete**hmmm trying to figure out how to spin the wheel and not spill beer** Ummmm @Mel...I think the rules say only one had at a time can be placed there!
ReplyDelete@ Deuce I think Kjetil keeps running away with the whiskey. I've come up short a couple bottles when I was doing inventory. Maybe it was a bad idea to have him at the bar.
ReplyDelete@ Deuce isn't blue on his chest? Am I color blind again?
ReplyDeleteI can't see my post. *shakes head*
ReplyDelete**Emptys Corona bottle...Couldn't risk spilling it** Spins Twister Wheel...Butt Cheek on Green...Obviously this is the Cougar Twister Version! :D
ReplyDelete@Mel...Your eyesight is just fine...My Party Foul...I just read the rules...since this is the Cougar version of Twister...The rules do state you can place both hands on one color!
ReplyDelete@Brenda...Your spin Chicka!
@ Brenda I'm so in for the game
ReplyDelete**Stands up from Twister...Feeling a little giddy...Thinking I might need some dinner before that next Corona**...Wondering if Lars could grab some takout from Peppes Pizza or Halling Tapas from Geilo??? **devilish grin** Game On!
ReplyDelete@Mel...you're in...and 'scuse me...right foot on yellow..my chesty parts are in the way.
ReplyDeleteI think Lars wants to jump in now that Deuce vacated and is securing tapas for the bunch. do we have to tip the guy all the way from Geilo?? hopefully we don't have to break the tip jar for the Norwegian ski team.
Hurry Mel...don't know if I can hold this position long.
Morning everyone!
ReplyDeleteI'm sleepy, dizzy and I wanna return in my bed! But I have to go to work!!! uuuhhh
Have a nice day!
@dana good morning. I feel just like you *all crapy*.
ReplyDeleteEverybody have a nice day and see you all later.
Good Morning ladies!

@dana Enjoy your meal!
ReplyDeleteOh poor you! Working on saturdays sucks! :( I'll save you a drink tonight as consolation! And I'm sure Kjetil is making you an other drink, as soon as Nicole, with her James Bond moves, rescued him! :D
See ya later! :)
oh my gosh, i miss so much while i work and sleep... think i have to reduce one of these, but sleep is out of the question!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway work is overrated since aksel has a new sponsor and i will marry him soon!! *lol*
