ReplyDeleteDamn you, Mel! I downloaded all my fave photos and completely did not get the URLs. My favorite photo is a picture of him and Kjetil waiting for the results of the GS at the Olympics, that tense moment seconds before the board lights up with the results and both men waiting to see if they medaled for Norway. The quintessential sports moment, especially with Aksel being proud of Kjetil no matter what happens.
And lookee here (**waves sheets of crumpled papers in the air**)...I found Aksel's tax forms! Um, actually, I saw him doing his taxes and threw these first drafts away...

1 ski tech, doubles as wax guy (for the skis, not my chest)….$3,000 per month…times 6, carry the 1…oh and per diem for food, lodging, and transportation…sh@#--Do I gotta pay for that little sawhorse deal he puts the skis on to wax?
2 coaches...$5,000 per head for 6 months……(f*&^-- why I gotta have 2 coaches?)…Marius looks better on photos, maybe I can save money and dump Franz?
Can I claim a second job and the blog for public affairs and international media for the Olympics? I’ll put it down anyway…(**writes note to self…count comments per blog picture to show part-time job as ambassador of goodwill**)
Laundry service…sh@#--it says only during business trips…maybe I enter Pops house as temporary lodging?
Dry cleaning for uniforms-specify quantity….12 (**erases number**)…15…damn that Kjetil…gotta tell him I need those extras back for next season…f*&^--did he rip those up to clean that F-150 of his?

I think someone who knew aksels plans was playing mind games with some of his fans, and twittered appropriate remarks at particular times and it was not aksel.
Equally, Aksel being ill though does make the her tweets abut enjoying herself appear somewhat callous if they were together.
@Teekanne - If you are looking for a choreographer, I volunteer. I used to be a competitive dancer/teacher. I am a little bit rusty, but I am sure that I could come up with a couple of 8-counts to any Abba song of your liking. Hey, if I could teach an unruly group of 5-year-olds ballet, I am sure teaching the Norwegian ski team would be a walk in the park.
