King Of The Mountain
Hello my name is Aksel. These are my skis & this is my mountain. Any questions? *raises eyebrow* Didn't think so.
Dear Mel,I really hope you enjoy the restful & exciting school life, and the bomb threat must be got rid of.

@dana. yes, I'm ready. I start it tomorrow. I'm usually in & out. The piano pupils lessons are arranged irregularly and it's convenient for both of us, bc sometimes I have hours of free time during a day.But sometimes I'm free for one and half hour, and occupied the next two hours, then free for 30 minutes, and then occupied for 1 hour, and so on. and besides the household waits for me, so my schedule is like a patchwork. Some girls enjoy 9 - 17 working hours 5 days a week and no household. I think both type of life is nice, and I just happen to have a patchwork schedule. I personally feel my schedule is creative. At least I like to believe so. ... ;-)))
Our Big Guy is coming back after a very short break. He has not mentioned about his knee these days. Anyhow the season is moving to the nearly end. I honestly feel time passes so quickly especially this year. I think it is because I follow the FIS site !

@Ekaterina I think it's great to have a flexible schedule, though sometimes it's good to know the hour when you leave home and when you come back. I like to household, it relaxes me, I like to cook and to iron!:)
Unfortunately I can't watch Aksel today bc they don't send the race on Eurosport, the only channel where I can watch winter sports. I just checked FIS site to see the results of the first run. But I'm watching cross country!

@Mel I am afraid, today was not Aksel's mountain! OK, the 2nd run was much better.
May I say, it was the mountain of Carlo, well deserved after his heart operation. Every heart beat was recorded and measured today and hopefully everything is allright for him.

btw, I was a bit surprised to see Aksel's name on the start list this morning, bc I didn't think he ran today due to his knee. During WM, our commentator talked about the slight change of Aksel's form every time he ran. According to him, Aksel this season lacked of the forward posture. He said Aksel is something different from the last season and even before the last season. I don't know actually about it, bc I'm far from professional. But I often think it is related to his knee.

*la sigh* :-( What are we gonna do with Aksel? I feel like getting on a plane, finding him & giving him a really great pep talk! It seems like his head isn't in the race. Maybe he's freaking out about something...though what that is I have no clue. He's sometimes very hard for me to read.

@mel i think he should clear up his mind! bc how it is yet, that isn´t a good way! you can see that he is unhappy with everything! but he has to find which factor is the most one which disturb him and he has to delete it!

@Ekaterina I'm usually very good at reading ALS, but lately I've had trouble. I have a feeling that something is wrong, but I can't put my finger on it. I think I'm gonna have to get my tarot cards out again & do a reading.
Work went well. They had me on self check for all but 2 hours of my shift. It was nice to be back working with my friends. :-) I've missed the beep beep beep...I'm probably going to hear it in my sleep tonight.

I hope sincerely Aksel has not a serious problem. Possibly he has still troubles with his Head skis and they choose somethimes the wrong wax? Maybe he misses his old coach or something is different with the new sport chef? Furthermore, I do not know why Aksel was racing yesterday, because I think a little nice break before Kvitfjell and Lenzerheide would be appropriate for him. But as long Aksel does not say something, and blogs just the minimum, everything is just a guess. By the way, did Aksel lost the interest to blog? It has become more and more a monolog and not more a dialog!
The story that Julia is making pressure on him, I find ridiculous. She is a great skier and seems to be very hungry for success. To get married, yes, nice & romantic! But I am sure, that is not the only "making happy factor" of the couple. LOL! They have a lot of time. On the other hand, I am still not sure, if both are kind of stalked. Sometimes they act really funny and try to hide everthing. That is not a normal behaviour in my eyes.
@dana. First of all, I really thank you for so many helps and advices on my sarmale ! Great thanks to you, my dear dana, I cooked the marvelously delicious sarmale.
As you see, I made a couple of pickled cabbage this time. They apparently enjoyed honeymoom for 2 weeks. " 2 weeks " is recommendation by DARIE. DARIE and my house have the same climate, so I thought it better. But DARIE never made only a couple and said the more was much better for fermentation. The smell and taste of brine was almost the same as my last attempt.
My container is large enough for a couple of cabbage, but too small for 3.
*step 1. I took cabbges out of container and removed the leaves. I failed it last time. BUT this time everything went pretty well ! The color of leaves were pale moss green or light moss green with some part nearly yellow.
*step 2. I tasted small part of a leave to check how salty it was, so that I could decide how much I put salt in the meat ( 50% pork & 50% beaf ).
*step 3. I made the leaves into the sheets to roll the meat. I think my cabbage was so-called standard size. From a large leaf, I could have 2 sheets, bc the midrib was just hard. I put them in the flowing water and washed them gently & quickly.
*step 4. I minced a onion, I washed the rice, and then mix them with meat. Put some salt & pepper.
*step 5. Cutting the rest of cabbages. It was for bed of babies. ... :-)))
@dana. ... continues ... *step 6. Roll the mixture. 22 kids were born from the couple. I thought this family could play soccer. ...
*step 7. But I didn't want them to play the soccer, although I prepared the best pitch for them. Placing the chopped cut parts of leaves on the bottom of the pan and placing sarmale just like a flower.
*step 8. I never forgot about placing bacon and also the rest of cabbages. Actully I made 2 layers, and cover it with the cut cabbages.
*step 9. Pour the tomate sauce and water into the pan and made it boil.
*step 10. After boiling, I cooked it with a low flame for about 2 hours until it became not so watery.
I tasted a soup several times to check, but there was no need to add anything.
P.S. My dad sometimes complains about the harb, so I only put some dry-dill again. And now I understand how much I can enjoy putting some harb which my dad never complains.
P.S. 2. My dad was so much happy with sarmale today !!!!!

I agree with you all, Aksel has changed a lot lately. I don't know if he realizes this, but he's not "him" anymore! I don't know what bothers him or what makes him feel uncomfortable. @nicoletta i have nothing agains julia personally,(but she behavior sometimes like a fool, just look how the acts again lindsay, that isn´t normal, just a little side note)! but someething is wrong with this relationship! they act sometimes real strange! he say nothing about this and she says everything! she said she is with him and he doesn´t mention her! but why???? that is the big question!
i agree with dana i miss his healty and great laugh and smile! bc the whole last season and summer you didn´t saw this smile and laugh from him! and also something strange for me is that he never smile on a pic with him and julia! there he also look real sad on the pics! but i don´t know why!
that is all i say to this theme!
it also can be the skis or something else, but he has to get out what it is and to change the things with doesn´t work!

Although I don't know about his situation, bc I'm not familiar with the media in Europe and the States, I have some guess.
The sponser..... I've sometimes thought he is too much busy with this matter. It's so-called obligation. I think Aksel's income grows than the previous time, and I think he deserves. But I suppose he's become busier. The HEAD..... I watched and heard several times that Aksel loved working with Atomic, and it's true they'd had a good relationship. Aksel feels strongly that he must get the better result with HEAD. Julia..... I think they have a nice relationship. Actually Aksel is 28 years old. He's not 15 nor 16 years old. But, to tell you the truth, we Japanese are sometimes confused. It's because of the difference of culture. So please don't get me wrong. In Japan, if one of the pair posts the pic like " that " with some comment, ( I'm talking about the pic in Garmisch which Julia posted in her blog ), and the other ( Aksel ) does not respond to post the pic like this in his blog, we simply feel " ????? ". I think I'm glad that Aksel is not Japanese. ... :-))) Most Japanese people just think Julia is better at business than Aksel. Again, I'd like to ask you not to get me wrong. I love that pic, but at the same time we have to guess that his shirt ( blue & white one ) was a gift to Aksel from Julia.

You are so right, Dana! Aksel has changed a lot. And for his smile we are waiting since ages...! Ha Ha. I miss also his really funny entries/pictures on his blog. The entries became so different. More the commercial way, and no dialog anymore.
@Corinna I do not know so much about the quarrel of Lindsay Vonn and Julia. What I can see, Julia is really trying to be a very grown-up girl now, and beside of that she is a great skier. I think it is not easy for her too.
@Ekaterina I totally agree with you with the sponsor business! More, more and even more - that could be the reason that Aksel is more handling his blog like a sponsor typic one, and not anymore the funny & more personal blog. What a pitty!
I agree also with you regarding the skis. That could be a more serious problem for Aksel the change from Head to Atomic!
Japanese or Swiss, or whatever, that he did not show that kind of picture was a so called faux-pas! That is exactly what I mean with hiding all the time. OK the comments are somethimes, I dare to say a bit dirty. But some people have obviously the need to do so, with or without pic from Julia & Aksel!!
My ladies I agree with you!! Aksel has changed a lot in the last year and from my point of view, those that say he's one happy man have to be blind!! And just to say I have nothing against Mancuso but I don't like the way she ''use'' the relationship!She ''uses''it for her own benefits and that is so wrong in my world. During the championship in Garmich I sat in front on the tv when Aksel won and mostly you saw her. It seemed like she ran from one tv station to another from one reporter to another. I was speachless!! All I want for this guy is to be happy but all you see is that seems like a fake. I hope I'm wrong and dispite he looks lost and unhappy he's the oposite of that.

Of course, it's press fault, not hers (though it seems she feels so good in the flash light) but I wanted you to understand what I mean.

@Everybody I don't think Julia is the one pressuring him. I don't get that vibe from the relationship, but something is wrong with the relationship. Yes the blog has changed. I think it's because of all the fighting between some of the posters. Maybe he's starting to wonder if it was such a good idea to be so open with us. Maybe he wants to post something about Julia, but doesn't want it to end up being a hate on Julia fest. The last time he posted about her some of the comments were a bit harsh.
I don't like her myself, but that could be because I can't get a straight read on her. Well not to mention what I've heard & read about her. I hate it when I can't read people. It's one of my many talents I inherited from my Grandpa Griffith & I hate when it doesn't work.

@Mel Thanks! Now I begin to understand your interpretation! I'm not so into this kind of things and it takes me some time to follow you, but I get some of the things you say!
@Dana For me it's hard for me to write my interpretations so others can understand it. I'm much better at it in person because I use my hands a lot & you can see the cards. Basically He's lost something, he wants a marriage like one of the ones he's seen in the past, there will be some bad news, but it all turns out very well for him. There will be another change in his life. He has two paths before him & it's up to him to choose which one to follow. Either way he will be fine.
I think he has lost his ability to get in touch with himself, his intuition. His affection for someone is causing his problems. A marriage he has seen in the past is influencing him, but it goes along with pain & loss. I would assume it is his parents marriage. He is a very secure person. Someone is going to go after him it could be in person or just with words on his blog, but he will fight back & won't hold anything back. He views himself as a sort of gentleman. There will be news I'm thinking bad, but he will truimph over the odds & be very successful.
My conclusion for the second one is:
This stage in his life isn't permanent. There will be a change. He's always traveling & I think he's either going to meet someone in his travels that he loves or he is traveling with someone he loves. Someone he trusts is going to help him through his trials. At the end of the season he will be free & will be able to find himself again. Though bad news does follow, but he will rise from the flames like a pheonix & be given the chance at a new beginning. Someone isn't being completly honest about the relationship. It seems like they are hiding something.

Work went well. They had me on self check for all but 2 hours of my shift. It was nice to be back working with my friends. :-) I've missed the beep beep beep...I'm probably going to hear it in my sleep tonight.

Wow, that is an interesting link about UNESCO World Heritage.
I hope sincerely Aksel has not a serious problem.
Possibly he has still troubles with his Head skis and they choose somethimes the wrong wax?
Maybe he misses his old coach or something is different with the new sport chef?
Furthermore, I do not know why Aksel was racing yesterday, because I think a little nice break before Kvitfjell and Lenzerheide would be appropriate for him. But as long Aksel does not say something, and blogs just the minimum, everything is just a guess.
By the way, did Aksel lost the interest to blog? It has become more and more a monolog and not more a dialog!
The story that Julia is making pressure on him, I find ridiculous. She is a great skier and seems to be very hungry for success. To get married, yes, nice & romantic! But I am sure, that is not the only "making happy factor" of the couple. LOL! They have a lot of time.
On the other hand, I am still not sure, if both are kind of stalked. Sometimes they act really funny and try to hide everthing. That is not a normal behaviour in my eyes.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I really thank you for so many helps and advices on my sarmale ! Great thanks to you, my dear dana, I cooked the marvelously delicious sarmale.
As you see, I made a couple of pickled cabbage this time. They apparently enjoyed honeymoom for 2 weeks. " 2 weeks " is recommendation by DARIE. DARIE and my house have the same climate, so I thought it better. But DARIE never made only a couple and said the more was much better for fermentation. The smell and taste of brine was almost the same as my last attempt.
My container is large enough for a couple of cabbage, but too small for 3.
*step 1.
I took cabbges out of container and removed the leaves. I failed it last time. BUT this time everything went pretty well !
The color of leaves were pale moss green or light moss green with some part nearly yellow.
*step 2.
I tasted small part of a leave to check how salty it was, so that I could decide how much I put salt in the meat ( 50% pork & 50% beaf ).
*step 3.
I made the leaves into the sheets to roll the meat. I think my cabbage was so-called standard size. From a large leaf, I could have 2 sheets, bc the midrib was just hard. I put them in the flowing water and washed them gently & quickly.
*step 4.
I minced a onion, I washed the rice, and then mix them with meat. Put some salt & pepper.
*step 5.
Cutting the rest of cabbages. It was for bed of babies. ... :-)))

Roll the mixture.
22 kids were born from the couple. I thought this family could play soccer. ...

But I didn't want them to play the soccer, although I prepared the best pitch for them.
Placing the chopped cut parts of leaves on the bottom of the pan and placing sarmale just like a flower.
*step 8.
I never forgot about placing bacon and also the rest of cabbages.
Actully I made 2 layers, and cover it with the
cut cabbages.
*step 9.
Pour the tomate sauce and water into the pan and made it boil.
*step 10.
After boiling, I cooked it with a low flame for about 2 hours until it became not so watery.
I tasted a soup several times to check, but there was no need to add anything.
So the wonderful sarmale was completed !

I agree with you all, Aksel has changed a lot lately. I don't know if he realizes this, but he's not "him" anymore! I don't know what bothers him or what makes him feel uncomfortable.
He seems sad, I really miss his healthy laugh!

@nicoletta i have nothing agains julia personally,(but she behavior sometimes like a fool, just look how the acts again lindsay, that isn´t normal, just a little side note)! but someething is wrong with this relationship! they act sometimes real strange! he say nothing about this and she says everything! she said she is with him and he doesn´t mention her! but why???? that is the big question!

Although I don't know about his situation, bc I'm not familiar with the media in Europe and the States, I have some guess.
The sponser..... I've sometimes thought he is too much busy with this matter. It's so-called obligation. I think Aksel's income grows than the previous time, and I think he deserves. But I suppose he's become busier.
The HEAD..... I watched and heard several times that Aksel loved working with Atomic, and it's true they'd had a good relationship.
Aksel feels strongly that he must get the better result with HEAD.
Julia..... I think they have a nice relationship. Actually Aksel is 28 years old. He's not 15 nor 16 years old.
But, to tell you the truth, we Japanese are sometimes confused. It's because of the difference of culture. So please don't get me wrong. In Japan, if one of the pair posts the pic like " that " with some comment, ( I'm talking about the pic in Garmisch which Julia posted in her blog ), and the other ( Aksel ) does not respond to post the pic like this in his blog, we simply feel " ????? ". I think I'm glad that Aksel is not Japanese. ... :-)))
Most Japanese people just think Julia is better at business than Aksel. Again, I'd like to ask you not to get me wrong. I love that pic, but at the same time we have to guess that his shirt ( blue & white one ) was a gift to Aksel from Julia.

My ladies I agree with you!! Aksel has changed a lot in the last year and from my point of view, those that say he's one happy man have to be blind!! And just to say I have nothing against Mancuso but I don't like the way she ''use'' the relationship!She ''uses''it for her own benefits and that is so wrong in my world. During the championship in Garmich I sat in front on the tv when Aksel won and mostly you saw her. It seemed like she ran from one tv station to another from one reporter to another. I was speachless!! All I want for this guy is to be happy but all you see is that seems like a fake. I hope I'm wrong and dispite he looks lost and unhappy he's the oposite of that.

I can't say anything about their relationship bc I'm not that close to them. lol All I can say is that is obvious that she gets more and more attention from the press since the press knows they're together.
This season, on Eurosport, at every race, they presented her like "Julia Mancuso, the girlfriend of the great Norwegian skier Aksel Lund Svindal"!!! Like this is her best achievement, her greatest merit!
And when Aksel won the gold, I saw Julia on tv more than I saw him!! All the media was watching her! Of course, it's press fault, not hers (though it seems she feels so good in the flash light) but I wanted you to understand what I mean.

She freely admits it & he doesn't say one word about it. I know he's a private guy, but you would have thought that he would have responded to her posting that pic of them. BTW I love that pic.
Ok maybe she's pressuring him to be a little more open about the relationship, but I don't think that's the main issue with him. I feel like he's lost something & the cards agree. I'll explain further when I tell you what the cards were.
Yes the blog has changed. I think it's because of all the fighting between some of the posters. Maybe he's starting to wonder if it was such a good idea to be so open with us. Maybe he wants to post something about Julia, but doesn't want it to end up being a hate on Julia fest. The last time he posted about her some of the comments were a bit harsh.
I don't like her myself, but that could be because I can't get a straight read on her. Well not to mention what I've heard & read about her. I hate it when I can't read people. It's one of my many talents I inherited from my Grandpa Griffith & I hate when it doesn't work.

@Dana For me it's hard for me to write my interpretations so others can understand it. I'm much better at it in person because I use my hands a lot & you can see the cards. Basically He's lost something, he wants a marriage like one of the ones he's seen in the past, there will be some bad news, but it all turns out very well for him. There will be another change in his life. He has two paths before him & it's up to him to choose which one to follow. Either way he will be fine.

My conculsion for the first reading is:
ReplyDeleteI think he has lost his ability to get in touch with himself, his intuition. His affection for someone is causing his problems. A marriage he has seen in the past is influencing him, but it goes along with pain & loss. I would assume it is his parents marriage. He is a very secure person. Someone is going to go after him it could be in person or just with words on his blog, but he will fight back & won't hold anything back. He views himself as a sort of gentleman. There will be news I'm thinking bad, but he will truimph over the odds & be very successful.
My conclusion for the second one is:
This stage in his life isn't permanent. There will be a change. He's always traveling & I think he's either going to meet someone in his travels that he loves or he is traveling with someone he loves. Someone he trusts is going to help him through his trials. At the end of the season he will be free & will be able to find himself again. Though bad news does follow, but he will rise from the flames like a pheonix & be given the chance at a new beginning. Someone isn't being completly honest about the relationship. It seems like they are hiding something.
