I Kiss You

*Starts singing Do Ya Think I'm Sexy*
"If you want my body & you think I'm sexy. Come on sugar let me know. If you really need me just reach out & touch me. Come on honey tell me so."
I love that he's all puckered up, ready & waiting for a kiss. *scratches head* Who's turn is it to kiss him? ;-)

    (sorry for a delay ...)
You're right, Giffy. The cherry trees were sent to Washington, D.C. from Tokyo as a gift in 1912, then in return, we were sent Dogwood by the USA in 1915. We didn't have Dogwood until then. It's one of my favorite thanks to you, dear Giffy !

  4. Spin the bottle! That does not look like ALS to me. It looks like Woody Harrelson...Love that he and Kjetil visited the kids - so cute!

@Dana I like the cars in your video selections! Those were catchy songs. I thought I recognized some English in them. It's funny, I go to a Korean nail salon to get a mani/pedi before vacation and they play American Country music in the salon on big screens. I'm always very entertained because I don't listen to or watch country videos normally. Here's a song new to me that is interesting...not so pretty and clean as yours!

@Nicoletta Hey! I'm fine thanks, except when Dana makes me laugh then I cough. Our snow is melting, today its fog and rain. Hope you're having a good day!

@Mel & Nicol Hope you guys have a happy spring break!

@Corinna I vote for the Carribean! Maybe we'll meet a pirate! I need to work on my tan.

  6. @Ekaterina I think the Cherry Blossoms are getting ready to bloom. It always makes the news when they do! So thanks for your gift! Are the dogwoods white or pink? We have both! When I told my son that Ken was a popular name in Japan he told me that Ken Gifu is an beautiful area of Japan. Is that right? So close to his name.

I'm impressed by this Korean boy band! The music is very different from the music I usually listen to and the videos are very well done!

What new song for you are you talking about? The link you posted is that one with Watts program that I posted yesterday! LOL

Spring is very lovely season, but very often unstable, isn't it ?
My baby sister's inside clock is a little out of control today. ... ;-))) Usually she goes to bed about at 8 o'clock at night, but she would not sleep tonight. Cat is noctunal, as you see, but most of them who live with people sleep at night. Anyhow I respect her character every time she behaves just like a " CAT ". ...

I had a lunch with friends in Ritz Carlton yesterday. why in Ritz Carlton ? The restaurant is 45F. The 45th floor restautant is not the highest, of course, but you can enjoy the wonderful city view from there, bc the location is good.
One of my friends travelled to Syria & Jordan last month, then we enjoyed the view over the city and the pics of Palmyra and Petra at the same time. It was very interesting. There is definitely 1 thousand and some hundreds years between these culture and us. It's difficult to explain nicely, but the view outside from window is one of the best 21st city view, but the pics of very old times makes us imagine a dream...

March & April are busy months for Japanese. bc the offices, schools, and lots of things start from April. but spring is sometimes sleepy season.....

Are you ready for a great weekend ? Ladies ?
Hope you have a fun ! Hugs !

I have a cousin with whom I spent some vacation when we were in the high school and she had a cat named China!! And I remember China used to sleep on my cousin long blond hair every night! Haha! We tried to put her to sleep in her basket but she always returned on my cousin's hair! LMAO
It's true, the cat was very young at that time and I think she missed her hairy mom! LOL

    @Giffy
You caught me! I've never heard these guys before! LOL Sorry, but the video looks a bit weird!:-))

I confess I was very scared when I saw Aksel after his crash! Especially bc he couldn't walk without support!

Aha.com sent me today a mail with some infos and videos, among them-this:

    Thanks corinna ! I'm OK.
yes, 7.2 is not light. But the actual spot was in the sea. As you see, Japan is surrounded by the sea, so the coast area has always fear of the tidal wave ( Tsunami ), and TV, the radio, and internet give us the update information of Tsunami until it's confirmed safe. This time happily no Tsunami.

Hope you enjoy driving your new white ( am I right ) VW, my dear corinna !

  16. @ekaterina yes it is white!

i be glad that you are ok, i also heared about the tsunami warning but they have already take it back!

bc of this i know a lot of japan! also one of my friends where in tokiyo some years ago for a exchange students and next weekend the family in which she was able to live came for a visit to her!

    It's just a short notice.
This time very strong. I don't remember such a strong and long earthquake in my life so far. and it comes several times in short period.
Maybe you can see about it on TV news.
Anyhow I post it to let you know I'm OK here.
    See you later. Hugs !

Thanks. It's so heavy. The Richter scale is 8.8 and it's the heaviest earthquake ever hit Japan since we recorded.
I'm OK, stay at home. My baby sis is OK, and so is my dad.
In Tokyo, we have the electricity normally, the water supply normally, but the gas is stopped.
I let you know more about it later. Hugs !

It was not just very strong, but also very long! And there are so many and strong after earthquakes!! And those fires !!! Terrible!

I'm so relieved that you're fine! Take care of you, my dear Ekaterina!
    Love you!

Took the opportunity to watch the News now. That is really aweful what happened in Japan.
So many people were on the road, tube, that means outside of the buildings because the earthquake took place at lunch time. People in Tokio looked really frightened.
If I have got it right, people in Tokio are ok so far. The real problem is along the coast. Terrible pictures, so many agrar land is destroyed. And poor people, they just disappeared in the flood, especially children. So said.

What is with the fire in the nuclear power station. Our speaker had not yet the newest information. I sincerely hope they have it under control.
Do you know already more, Ekaterina??

Enjoy your cap of tea, you need it, dear Ekaterina!

    See you later!

  24. Very sorry for Aksel!
He would never complain, would he?
In my eyes, he is such a tough Norvegian guy, and even so, he might still feel tired, and the stomac problems left some kind of weakness, Aksel says I am fine!
I hope so much, that tomorrow is another day for him and he can show to us what he certainly wanted to bring on!

Like Ekaterina mentioned before, take it easy, Aksel,
... and try "TO TAKE IT"!

    Stay positive, Aksel!!
And most of all stay safe!

Thank you very very much for your warm-hearted words !

It was about 14:46 when the first strong earthquake hit. I was so lucky then, bc I was just back to our house and trying to take off my shoes in the entrance. First I simply thought it was an earthquake which we Japanese used to, but it was very long and heavy. I was so scared, but tried to be calm which we are recommended. There was a big and tall flower vase on the counter in the entrance. I held it not to be fallen. I think the first earghquake lasted for more than 1 minutes. Then after I confirmed it ended, I took off the shoes and walked to the living room where my baby sis stayed in daytime. She looked scared, so I talked to her slowly and gently. I thought my dad was already back, bc there was his shoes in the entrance, so I went to his room. He was watching the TV, which we Japanese always do when the earthquake came. I saw the water on the floor. yes, we place the big bowls of water in the living room, my dad's room and my room for my baby sis' use. 2/3 of water was spilled. I put dry towels on the floor and asked dad about the earthquake, bc he concentrated on watching TV. and I knew the location of the earthquake, and the first TV report was Richter Scale 7.2 so I didn't think the second strong earthquake came. Then, I went back to the living room and found some books were on the floor, then I went to the kitchen and found all the drawers were open. Then the second strong one came. I was so frighted and tried to be calm again. The electricity was normal. Soon after the second one ended, I pushed the lever of the water, and confirmed it normal.
Anyhow, the water spill from the baby sis' bowl and the opened drawers were everything we took from the earthquake. The gas was stopped, but it was safety measure regulated by the government, and it was recovers after the confirmation of safety.

    and thanks Nicolettchen !
    ..continues ..
TV just said some 200 drowned bodies were found on the beach where the Tsunami left.
and the nuclear power station in the area which the earthquake hit stop working, and no leak at least now.

My dad was going to attend the party this evening, but he thought he made it postpone, but telephone did not connect, so he waited and saw. Then we knew the Richter Scale 8.8 and we kept silence for a while. Then the third heavy one came. But the second one and the third one were not so long.
Anyhow, after the third heavy one, we have still small shake and we have it right now.

Then my dad and me watched TV with my baby sis. I was so shocked to watch the news live which Tsunami was attacking the coast and covered the houses, building, and so on.
We thought we had better eat something, but the gas was stopped. then I remembered I freezed the rest of sarmale, and I put them in the electric range and we had it for dinner.
After that, the gas recovered. We need the gas for the oven and the hot water. and now we can take a bath as always.

    .. continues ..

  28. @Ekaterina I am so glad to know you, your Dad and baby Sis are safe, my dear Ekaterina. I was worried sick something terrible had happened to you. My heart breaks for the people of Japan hardest hit by the tsunami and earth quake. It is all they are showing on our TV and now I think Hawaii will be next. Stay safe, best wishes, and much love to you and Japan. Now that I know you are safe I can comment on ALS. Whew you gave us quite a scare.

Poor ALS. I'm sorry he didn't do well today. That was a great Didier helmet on his website. I really like how big his hands were and the the little kilt he was wearing. Haha! So Funny!

    @Corinna Yes, you should!

  29. @my dear all ladies !
I said we were lucky, bc there were so many people in Tokyo trying to walk back to their houses. So the schools and some public building on the ways are open for them to have some water, food as well as toilet.
So my family is very lucky, and people who are able even to walk back home belong to lucky life, but I really feel sorry for the people in the coastal areas. Ws've put on TV since the earthquake happened, but it's already at night, and no one knows about the whole damage yet.
I may be wrong, but I feel the strong and heavy earthquake like we had at 14:46 will not come, however we still have to be careful and have to be patient and calm with several smal ones for a while.

I honestly thank you all very much for thinking of us !!! I'm so happy about it !!!

Then, our Big Guy. ... I think he knows he is not fit for the race, and he accepts it. But of course it's the race, so he has still some chances to win or on the podium. Let's cross fingers for him !!!

going to take a bath now.
Thanks a lot again, ladies ! Hope you have a beautiful weekend ! Kisses & Hugs !

I am so glad, that you stay almost comfortable at your home and found even a solution to cook a warm meal! Dana will be very proud to read that you enjoyed the last bit of Sarmale!

Hope sincerely the situation calms down at your place, and you and your dad can find some hours of sleep during the night.

I was just back home when the first heavy earthquake happened yesterday.

It's sunny and lovely Saturday in Tokyo today, but very quiet. People prefer stay at home and watch the news about the earthquake, bc there is still possibilities it will come again today.

Fukushima is, I think, located 2 or 3 hundred km far from Tokyo. The biggest worry we have is about the nuclear power station which has not be confirmed safe.

I'll inform you of more details.
We have a light shake just right now.

Thanks again, my dear corinna !
