More Lessons
Running outside is always better then running inside on a treadmill with a tube in your mouth.
Hopefully the blog will stop eating the comments soon! I've post 3 in the previous post & I ccan't see them. :-(
I'm testing to see if the comments are working. This is very frustrating that the blog does this. Maybe I'll have to search for a new blog site. This sucks!!!!

Okay, so Argentina v South Korea today! I felt a little sorry for South Korea but Argentina is an awesome team! I told you Higuain was CUTE....and a hat trick is even hotter!!!! He rocks!!!! The first hat trick since 2002! ;D That's just awesome! ;D
Greece v Nigeria next! Don't know if I'll catch the whole game :/ But it's still exciting!

Last night, I was watching So You Think You Can Dance with my mom and my sister and I spotted a really cute guy! But I made the mistake of telling my mom that because she noticed that Lance Bass (from NSYNC) was sitting next to him! And since Lance is gay, my mom said that the guy could be his boyfriend! Totally ruined it for me!!!!

@teekanne it´s real easy the highway goes into the city, then i have to drive right, follow the street about 800m and then left 200 m i have to go back, then right again and there is the park&ride. i have to turn because i´m not allowed to go left where i need to go left. there was two nice guys in the underground who explain it to me how i get my ticket, they were real friendly. after that we were in the metro you know that?

life here has been so hectic over the past week...terrible flooding in my area had me "putting out fires" in all aspects of daily life...that much water isn't good for anything. all seems back to normal...what ever that might be.
and ladies...you should have seen the fellow who came to fix my damaged phone lines...oh my, he was so fine:) am tempted to break my phone to get him back over...lol!
it seems everyone is happy and well (or at least recuperating) ...yay! and enjoying the soccer. when the swiss won yesterday, it made me think of anja...she must have been going crazy:) have we heard anything from her lately?
so coffeepot is still trying to stir up the trouble on al's blog. maybe jules is dating simen in oslo. or kettle...lol!

Like Suzanne, I've been super busy as well, not with the types of things she's had to deal with (flooding, phone lines and a hot repair man) for me lots of work and family things. Summer is so hectic, most days I feel like I'm on a treadmill and someone keeps speeding it up, faster and faster. Grrrrr!
Hope everyone is well...@Anne-May I hope you get to feeling better soon hon, I've been dealing with headaches on and off all week myself...the weather changing from hot and humid to some-what chilly here has my allergies a mess. BTW, the lady at the post office said it could take anywhere from a week or 2 for you to get the mail I sent you with the stamp $...she said it depends on the country it's being sent to. Jake touched my arm twice today. *giggles like a little school girl* I may never wash my left arm again. *sigh* Anyway, he said that we have to come up with something good when I asked him what kind of cake he wanted. @teekanne *sigh* Slovenia game! It started off really great for Slovenia! Good possession the first half and US just didn't have good control! So Slovenia was up 2:0 at half time! And then they came back and US scored pretty quickly and their goalkeeper took some kind of energy drink because all of a sudden he was awake and kept catching all of Slovenia's shots! But US came back to score 2 goals and tie it up! :/
There were a few yellow cards here and there on both teams and one Slovenian injury in the last minute...but nothing truly serious!

(i bet he was just mad that the spanish team lost..)
@nicole: so it was just a normal game where the us boys woke up in the second half? a father said, they should have won that, they shot a goal in the last minute for the 3:2 and the ref refused it?! but he didn´t know why..
@teekanne I don't know what was up with the guy! But some of those tackles happen! You have to expect some pushing and shoving and tripping! It's a contact sport! But the red card was definitely dumb! And I mean card after card after card! I had missed the first 7 minutes of the game and already 2 cards had been out! What the heck? And it was all going against Germany!
Don't worry though, my mom and I were saying some not so nice things in Spanish! LOL I bet those hot guys enjoyed having a girl around who knew football! ;D

@nicole: it´s a contact sport but this world cup exists of too many contacts with arms. all players have their hands on the opponent or on his shirt.... that´s not part of the sport and it´s stupid. the first contact these days isn´t with the legs or the feet but with the hands and arms.. stupid.
i think the ref understood after 40 minutes that´he wasn´t playing cards...

@teekanne it´s real easy the highway goes into the city, then i have to drive right, follow the street about 800m and then left 200 m i have to go back, then right again and there is the park&ride. i have to turn because i´m not allowed to go left where i need to go left. there was two nice guys in the underground who explain it to me how i get my ticket, they were real friendly. after that we were in the metro you know that?

life here has been so hectic over the past week...terrible flooding in my area had me "putting out fires" in all aspects of daily life...that much water isn't good for anything. all seems back to normal...what ever that might be.

Like Suzanne, I've been super busy as well, not with the types of things she's had to deal with (flooding, phone lines and a hot repair man) for me lots of work and family things. Summer is so hectic, most days I feel like I'm on a treadmill and someone keeps speeding it up, faster and faster. Grrrrr!
Hope everyone is well...@Anne-May I hope you get to feeling better soon hon, I've been dealing with headaches on and off all week myself...the weather changing from hot and humid to some-what chilly here has my allergies a mess. BTW, the lady at the post office said it could take anywhere from a week or 2 for you to get the mail I sent you with the stamp $...she said it depends on the country it's being sent to. And then the Slovenia game! I was so pumped for them and they were doing well! And then US had to tie it up! What the heck??? So messed up! England better do well today! Please! I need something to cheer me up after all this crap for FIFA!

ReplyDelete@teekanne *sigh* Slovenia game! It started off really great for Slovenia! Good possession the first half and US just didn't have good control! So Slovenia was up 2:0 at half time! And then they came back and US scored pretty quickly and their goalkeeper took some kind of energy drink because all of a sudden he was awake and kept catching all of Slovenia's shots! But US came back to score 2 goals and tie it up! :/

@nicole: it´s a contact sport but this world cup exists of too many contacts with arms. all players have their hands on the opponent or on his shirt.... that´s not part of the sport and it´s stupid. the first contact these days isn´t with the legs or the feet but with the hands and arms.. stupid.
