The weather is gorgeous here today and I have a vacation day from work! Go me! I am going to finish some chores this morning then go to the beach this afternoon. I love summer!
Tomorrow is my big WC match USA vs Ghana. I kind of hope it rains so I won't feel guilty going inside at 3pm.

I had a blast yesterday with frisbee golf...even though I'm not too good at it! ;P But I saw some cute guys out there and then I went to the pool with my friends, and some more cuties! ;D I had a really fun time! ;D
I watched Brazil v Portugal today! I wanted more goals!!!! There was a lot of pushing and shoving, as usual! :/ But I was expecting them to make at least one goal, especially with so many tries!!! I can't wait for Spain's game later on today! I hope they do well!!! ...and I'm still extremely mad that I can't watch England v Germany!!! ;(

A very long day at work for me today (Yuck). My first patient was rough ... Won't stick to her nutritional guidelines or her workout plan, and then She doesn't understand how come she isn't getting healthy or losing weight on the Oreo & Donut Diet she is eating! UGH! Sometimes I wonder why I became a Nutritionist... should just stick to being a medic!
But, being the dorky me that I am, I met a HOT Guy on my morning run! ;) So, today isn't all bad!
@AM I totally understand. I still love my ex ... because we have 2 beautiful children and shared a lot of memories, plus I have a lot of respect for him ... but, I'm not IN LOVE with him. There is a big difference between being loving someone and being IN love with someone. My ex and I are great friends, we just don't have any romantic feelings towards each other. When you share so much with someone, I think it's perfectly normal to be "friends with benefits" if you both agree! My Mom always says "Consult Your Mind for 30% of your decision, but Listen To Your Heart for 70%" ... and I think she's a wise lady! So, you will figure it out and know what works for you ... LOL and then we want DETAILS! :D

@Deuce And I know what you mean! There's a guy,a little bit younger than me! He's my best friend, I know him and he knows me with all the goods and all the bads! I love him but I'm not in love! I love him like I love my brother and I care about him but I'm not IN LOVE! Though sometimes I think he wants more than my friendship! He's a great guy, very intelligent, with good sense of humor! But I can't change the facts!
@all If you feel something for someone, I think it's important to go for it! Tell them how you feel! What do you have to lose? Because you feel worse when you regret what you didn't do! I don't have much to contribute to the conversation of love but I still think it's important to do what you feel is best and to follow your deepest wishes! It's important not to deny yourself happiness!
Love sucks & hurts like hell, but it's really great when you find the right one. I've had 3 very good examples of true love & I think eveyone should have that at least once. A heart that has never been broken can never know the perfection of imperfection.
@nicole: hmm.. ok, i cheer for chile and switzerland! :-) haha would be a pretty interesting world cup without italy, spain, france and england in the quater finals! haha
@mel: in germany we have this saying: for every pot there is a lid (my dictionary said in english it´s every jack will find his jill)... but i feel like a wok!! ok, there are some woks with lids but these are rare.. ;-)
@Nicole & AM You deserve real happiness only when are not other people involved! Like wife or kids! I've suffered like a beated dog for a married man but I had to let him go though he liked me too! I even changed my work schedule to not see him! There was 6 years ago but I'm not cured! When I meet him on the street I feel my heart going crazy! But my conscience is clean no matter how it hurts!

Just stopped by for a quick hello, my best friend and I are heading out to a great restaurant/bar for dinner and drinks (of course) and there will be fireworks later on this evening...we start celebrating the 4th of July a week early around here and it lasts for over a weel, its so much fun! Music, drinks, friends and fireworks...good times!
@krys: since my family lives pretty close together except my aunt in america you always sees them now and then... it´s ok for birthdays but not once a month.. that´s too much even though it would only be aunts, uncles and cousins! ;-)

I love him but I'm not in love! I love him like I love my brother and I care about him but I'm not IN LOVE! Though sometimes I think he wants more than my friendship! He's a great guy, very intelligent, with good sense of humor! But I can't change the facts!

ReplyDelete@all If you feel something for someone, I think it's important to go for it! Tell them how you feel! What do you have to lose? Because you feel worse when you regret what you didn't do! I don't have much to contribute to the conversation of love but I still think it's important to do what you feel is best and to follow your deepest wishes! It's important not to deny yourself happiness!

@Nicole & AM You deserve real happiness only when are not other people involved! Like wife or kids! I've suffered like a beated dog for a married man but I had to let him go though he liked me too! I even changed my work schedule to not see him! There was 6 years ago but I'm not cured! When I meet him on the street I feel my heart going crazy! But my conscience is clean no matter how it hurts!

@Teekanne She is one of 6 but the extended family is really close too. My grandma is one of 5 and my grandpa is one of 8. Everyone will be there so it will for sure be a full house! Then add alcohol... ;D

@Teekanne I like a small family too sometimes just cause everyone is in everyone elses business! In my immediate family its just me and my brother so its nice but when the whole family gets together its nuts. Its always good for a laugh though.

ReplyDeleteJust stopped by for a quick hello, my best friend and I are heading out to a great restaurant/bar for dinner and drinks (of course) and there will be fireworks later on this evening...we start celebrating the 4th of July a week early around here and it lasts for over a weel, its so much fun!
