New Car!

2007 Chevy Aveo 5 Great fuel-economy City: 27 & Highway: 37
I love my little Chevy! It doesn't have power locks or windows, but that's ok. So I have to remember to lock the door when I get out. LOL Oh & it doesn't have a CD player, but that's an easy fix.

    I guess it depends on the day how you feel pain in your shoulder, and I'm sure you can get along with it until the pain is weaken and disappears finally.

    Hope you enjoy driving safely, my dear Mel !

    * The highly contaminated water leak to the ocean was stopped at 05:38 this morning.
    * The lower contaminated water flow to the ocean will be finished early tonight.
    * Nitrogen gas is to put in the reactor nr.1 today to prevent from the hydrogen explosion.

    That's the update for today, I think.

    The earth is round and we share the seas. .....
    I hope somebody finds the way that the radioactive substances take the passport with them when they leave the country where they were working. .....

    Congrats to your new car! Looks beautiful!
    Hope you can calm your shoulder, less pain I mean!!

    Have a safe and happy first travel, Mel!

    @Ekaterina

    This I call really good news! The leak could be stopped! I read about the details in NZZ and I think they used a really clever way to succeed with it! Bravo!

    Yes, you are right, Mr. Kan is Mr. Kan! That Mr. Kan underestimated the cooling system, which is vital for the safety of AKW was not so good. Hopefully everthing turns to the best now. Keep my fingers crossed.
    The contamined water in the sea is a bad point too, at the moment they say, the contamination of the sea water is much less catastrophical than in the air. Look always to the bright sight, like you do it already, my dear Ekaterina!

    Have a lovely spring day, Ekaterina, and enjoy life as much you can!

  8. @Nicoletta.
    In Japan, we talk recently about the triplet disaster, as like ; we first suffered from an earthquake, then suffered from a tsunami, and then we suffer from Mr. Kan. No smells of AKW. ... ;-)))

    btw, Nicolettchen, changing the subject, I had a phone call from a friend of mine this afternoon, and I'm still upset about it. He lost his wife on Monday, she passed away of cancer, and the date of the ceremony was decided this morning, and let me know of it. I've met her twice, in their wedding & in my mom's funeral. The couple has one child, and he is 1-year & 1-month. I wouldn't think he understans what happened to his mom. I've never attended the funeral like such a condition, and I have no idea how to behave there. I talk with other friends about it, and get ready for this Saturday.

    Have a pleasant spring day, my dear Nicoletta ! Hugs !

  9. @Ekaterina So sorry to hear of your friends loss. What a sad story to have two children, 1 month old, and 1 year old lose their Mother to cancer. I wouldn't know how to behave either. You've had a lot of stress already with the triple tragedy. Take care, and we all know you will do your best brave dear Ekaterina.

    @Dana Hey Sis! Why did it take you so long to comment on ALS smile? Are you well? What's going on with your doctor, back from the convention? So many questions and so little time.

    @Mel Love your car! Enjoy!

    @Hey Nicoletta and Corinna! What's up?

    I have not heard about my job yet. The waiting is excruciating. I was listening to Calvin Harris Awooga yesterday while I waited.

    I'm so sorry for your friend's wife! I guess she was very young if she had a one year old baby!
    I know you'll find the proper way to behave in this tragic situation, though I know it's so hard! The most important is to be there for your friend! You're always so kind and nice and you know how to comfort all the people around you when they need!
    So just be yourself, my dear Ekaterina!

    @Giffy
    Hello Sis! I'll try to answer your all questions! LOL So:
    I wanted to keep my mouth shut on ALS for a while, but as you see, I couldn't stay away from his blog!!! Haha!
    Thanks, I'm better than before but I still take antibiotics, I'm still barking like an old dog! LOL
    I didn't make another appointment to my doctor bc I decided to go to Bucharest after the Easter, to the Endocrinological Institute. One of my aunts who lives in B. will make an appointment for me there and I might need a surgery! What a pleasure to see myself with my throat cut! Haha!

    Hope the things about your job will be fine in the end, I know how it is to wait and wait and wait...I keep my fingers crossed for you, my dear Sis!

    Thanks for the link! Nice music! I'm melancholic lately and I listen romantic songs! LMAO One of my favorites is this:

  11. I was working on my report fo College Comp & listening to Tonight I'm Loving You. All of a sudden I heard a really loud beeping. I figured ok something is wrong with the track or I ruined my headphones again. I paused the track & I could still hear it. The girl sitting on the other couch asked me what that was. We realized it was the fire alarm & everybody started rushing out of the building. A hot fireman just walked by & I'm very tempted to go follow him...

  12. @Mel
    Another alarm? What happens to your college? You and your colleagues stay more outside than in the classroom! LOL
    Did you follow that HOT fireman? I guess he wasn't HOT bc of the fire!!! LOL

    Haha...about your comment on ALS! I have to tell you that Algebra was one of my best friends in the school! LOL Even now I can remember things like this:
    (a+b)²=a²+2ab+b²
    (a-b)²=a²-2ab+b²
    (a+b)³=a³+3a²b+3ab²+b³.......

    Hahaha!

  13. @Dana One of the construction workers accidently hit the alarm. LOL No I didn't follow the hot fireman. :-(

    Algebra is my first class & it's at 7:30AM. I love it though.

  14. I can't believe we are actually talking about Ouija Boards in class. I hate them. I played with one 10 years ago & the spirits really, really liked me. I learned some things, but I will never ever touch another one again.

    What a coincidence, yesterday I saw an interview with a evangelish pastor which is working with the Swiss Railways. His office at the Main station in Zurich and he is the so called "Railway pastor". He was talking about his life and what kind of client/ voyager/ tourist he meets.
    He told about an episode with a man who had a little firm. He was nearly in the same position like you. He knew, he will meet one of his employees who has lost his wife, and was absent for a week.
    The pastor said, after he had spoken with him quietly for some time. You have made so many thoughts and were thinking so much about the concrete words, you will find the right words at the right place.
    I am sure, you will find the right words too, Ekaterina!

    I understand you, life can be so cruel, and such a early death, even with such a little child is a tragedy!

    Hope you can sleep, and I wish this man and his daughter all the best. May they found a way to be lucky again.

    Hugs & Kisses!

    The one with the exercise in front of the open window was great!!

    Take good care of your health, dear Dana! Coughing is so ennoying, I know from what you are talking about!!

    @Mel

    What, a HOT fireman! So he really has the right profession! Just kidding, Mel!

    That is not funny, sorry for so many troubles at your school.

    But men in uniform look sometimes very impressing. LOL!

    If the fireman turns up again, you should ask him for some advice, or you could just ask him a simple question, Mel! Ha Ha

    It is really time for an other affair!! Again kidding! But honestly, why not, dear Mel??!!

    @All

    Have a nice evening/day! Have fun, ladies!

    They really make a big concert. We are living in the near of a forest and the birds give us every morning/after sun went down a wonderful concert! Love it so much!

    I don't know why I can't keep my mouth shut on ALS, as I said! And I can't help making jokes, even if some of them are bad ones!LOL

    I'd like to use your remedy against cough and cold, but I take antibiotics so I can't drink red wine right now! Anyway, I can eat chocolate and I'll drink the wine later!!! LOL

    I'm listening birds too, especially the blackbirds! They look for their pair in the evening, before bedtime! In the morning they sing in a different way, as they sing different when the rain is coming! Did you notice this? LOL I love it very much too!! I'm glad you enjoy them as much as I do!

    Good night to you too my dear Nicoletta! Love you!

  25. @Dana Yup in order for love to find you, you have to stop looking. At least that's what my family always says.

    @Corinna First we are going to Hershey, PA that's 6 hours away, then down to D.C. that's 2 & half hours & then back up to Gettysburg, PA which is 2 hours. I just found out about Hershey & D.C. today.
