  1. I didn't actually ask Karen if he has a girlfriend. When she was leaving I told her to take me with her. She said Ok I'll do a drive by & you can jump in. I said Wait a minute I could just hop in Brandons' car. What kind of car does he drive?

    She said A black Dodge Ram Truck. He parks where he can see it on the camera for the drive through pharmacy because people have tried to mess with it. I asked her if he would mind. She said No put a bow on yourself & tell him Merry Christmas. He'd like it.

    I said An early Christmas present. The way that she talked it doesn't sound like he has a girlfriend. My plan to ask him if he had to work tomorrow(Thanksgiving) didn't work. I asked Karen if she had to work & she said No thank God we're closed. I'm sure I'll come up with something else.

    I could always ask people if they wanna go out for drinks & ask him too. Though if anyone from the pharmacy comes he wouldn't be able to come because he's the manager. Though if he just happened to show up to the same bar on the same day at the same time he would have to stay. ;-)

    Good luck Mel! If you really want to meet Brandon somewhere, there will be a way.

    @Corinna
    Take care for your health, Corinna. Don't go to early back to work, because it is very cold outside.

    @Dana
    Thanks for the lovely song in French as well as the cool pics from Hugh Jackman. Ha, Ha.

    I learnt French in school, but I use it very seldom. My mothertongue is Swiss German.

    @Dana/Ekaterina
    You do not believe, but we speak 4 official languages in Switzerland.

    Here a link, if you like, you can see were the languages are spoken:

    http://official-swiss-national-languages.all-about-switzerland.info/index.html

    The 4th language Romanisch is spoken from a small minority:

    Dana, Romanisch sounds similar to Rumänien (Romania), it is possible that you can understand it easily??

    Here an example:

    I presume in your countries it might be the same, I mean with a lot of dialects.

    Last night I posted the "making of my private ratatouille" in the last entry!!

    Have a beautiful day/evening!!!

  3. Happy Thanksgiving for all those are celebrating it!

    @Ekaterina Our orthodox Church celebrates today St. Ekaterina! So, even if I'm not sure this is your real name, congrats on your name's day! lol

    @Mel Keep my fingers crossed for you! You have to talk to Brandon in a way or another!!!
    Go, Mel, go!!!

    @Nicoletta Thanks for the recipe! I read it and I'll copy it! Sounds delicious! And I have to tell you that I put a cup of water in my vegetable stew, just like you do. Now I'm sure you know how thick should be the sauce, exactly like for your Ratatouille!

    Sorry, I thought your mothertongue is French! And this song seems funny to me bc the vocal of this band is a very smart and funny guy! He has written the lyrics!

    Do you speak all those 4 languages? I've heard before about Romanisch and first I thought Anja is talking about my language!! Haha! But they are not similar at all, I could understand just a few words like "intact" "winter" "ice" LOL Romanian is more similar to Italian.
    You are right, we have a lot of dialects too!

    I'm glad you liked Hugh Jackman images! Haha!

    Have a nice afternoon! Hugs

    @Mel.
    I understand why it is so cold in Lake Louise now. I guess some part of her neighboring country has become warmer and warmer as if the heat in canada is gathering to " Your Place " especially around the pharmacy. ...;-))) !!!

    Mel, Hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving Day !!!

    First, thanks for the links ! I've checked already the result of the first training run by your info, and I'll check rest of them, maybe tomorrow. I've just come home from the concert and it'll be late today.

    I read your private recipe of Ratatouille and I have no reason not to try it ! Next week or the next to the next.

    I didn't know about Romanisch ! Nicoletta ! I'll check the link also tomorrow.

    I just make it certain, and am back here, Nicoletta.
    Daniel Albrecht. He took an interview in the program " MB " which was filmed in summer last year about when Aksel visited him.
    I think he still has a small problem caused by brain damage by a crash. But he runs again !!!
    Nicoletta, I really respect his determination and the devoted and the highest level of standard in medical science in Switzerland !!!

    Have a pleasant day in beautiful winter, Nicoletta ! Hugs !

    Thank you, dana for letting me know of "her" day.
    I learn from you that November 25th is St.Ekaterina's Day in Orthdox Church. My baby sister's name comes from Tzarina actually, but I'm so happy and honored to know today ( already yesterday in Tokyo's time )is her Day !!!

    btw, Marshal Sam McCloud has been popular in my country, too ! In Japanese TV, many US TV drama is broadcasted or re-broadcasted. " Bewitched " has been re-broadcasted several times. Although it was made many years ago, we can enjoy watching it !

    I'll carry out the second stage on coming Sunday, dana !

    and thanks for the links, Romanian songs. I'll chck it tomorrow. It's a bit late.
    So, have a delightful day, dana ! I'll take a bath, and rush into my bed ! Hugs !

  8. I'm happy for Daniel Albrecht! There's always a real joy to see these boys coming back on slopes after such bad crashes!
    Remember Ulrike Maier in Garmisch? God, hope this kind of things will never happen!

    @Ekaterina
    I was sure your "Ekaterina" comes from a historical character, but I didn't know which one!
    So next year you have to make her a cake to celebrate her name's day!! Haha!

    Do you know about Sam McCloud? Huh! At least someone who watched that series! lol Here is the same like in Japan, we watched a lot of US series like "Mannix", "Columbo", "Dallas", "Santa Barbara", " The young and the restless" speaking just about the old ones! But there are broadcasted also Dr. House, Grey's anatomy, Lost, Being Erika, Gilmore girls, Sex and the city, Desperate wives and much more I can't remember now! LOL There are too many...

    I'm so excited for the second stage! I can't wait you to tell me if you like sarmale!

    Have a peaceful night and sleep well, Ekaterina! See you tomorrow! Hugs!
