What do we like about Aksel? Besides his skiing. What is it about Norwegian men that appeals to us?
I like the whole package myself. Hair, eyes, nose, smile...you get the picture right? I like everything about him. From being a down to earth kind of guy to working with kids. What's not to like?
From what I have learned about Norwegian men they are friendly, easy-going & very easy to love. They just appeal to the Viking in me.
Remember this isn't just about Aksel. It's about all Norwegian men & what we like about them.
I didn't meet a Norwegian man (but I wish!)So I'm talking about what I've heard about them: they are very polite, friendly, easy-going, serious when it needs, they know to have fun but they are not drunkards!
ReplyDeleteAnd as I told you on Aksel's blog I read about them that they are the best husbands in the world because are very good house-keeper (ha ha-I like it!!)and great lovers!!!!!!
So what we can don't like about Norwegian men? They are lovely...
@dana I don't personally know a Norwegian man either, but I too have heard that they're really friendly and polite!

Plus, (in case you haven't noticed haha) I love languages and countries, so I'm a sucker for Europeans! ;P ...I love Aksel's accent!

i think nordic men are calm and considered (like icemen) but when they are into something they do it with 100% and are very passionate and driven.
They are no big showmen who try to cover up...

I think all scandinavians have an outward looking philosophy - norwegian, swedish, danish. Any scandinavians I know seem to be very focused on what they are doing/where they are going, but at the same time are very respectful of others and very modest. Kjetils bow at the end of his GS run was typical.

I'm Norergian myself and don't think there's a big difference between Norwegian men and other men. They're not taller or more handsome than others. Mabye Morten Harket looks good but he seems so distant.

ReplyDeleteI think Morten is rather a philosophical guy ( as Anne-May said) than distant. He seems an open-hearted guy to me. I'm saying this because I saw many pics and videos from -let's say- his private life (I mean beyond the stage or official music videos) and he seems a very funny guy. He likes to laugh and make fun of himself.
But this is your opinion and I'm OK with it!
