Third For Axl
I'm sad I couldn't watch the race, but I'm glad Axl got third & Kjetil got 4th. I would love to see the Vikings sweep the board. I don't care what order they place, but I think it would be awesome for them to come in 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
@Mel I thought this was a Valentine's Day post since it's Feb. 1, with the pink background and flowers! Nice bouquets! LOL! Too early for that! :) Only real men can stand in front of pink...I wasn't able to watch this weekend either. I was out of town.
@Corinna Are you finished with training. Did you pass the test?
@Dana I'm sorry you are worried about your job. I know how you feel. I thought the economy was on an upturn. But don't ask me I haven't been able to find a job. Try not to worry dear Sis!
Hope everyone else is doing well. More soon! PS. I love escargot. The butter sauce they're baked in is delicious on french bread.
@Giffy Thanks for your support, my dear Sis! I try to think positively, but...
About the sauna pic-I don't know? LOL Don't you see? We ask him nicely to post a pic of his smile and it seems he does the opposite! Our guy is playing tough!Haha! I think he tries to show us who wears the breeches on his blog!!! LMAO
@giffy tomorrow is my last day of work training! i passed the last three exams real good and i be real happy about it, so i have only to replay that one writing about my patient in the next three months, but i think i can handle this!
sorry i was/be so tired and wasn´t able to be online for so long! i hope that will change in the next days and that i can be more online the next days!
@Giffy. First I planned to start it in one of the previous weekends, but I had lots of things to do. I'm also busy this weekend. Then I arrange my schedule for the pickled cabbage. On Sunday, the 13th of February, I'll start my 2nd attempt which I'm sure to be sccessful. Stay tuned, Giffy ! I won't make any appointment on that day. Thanks, my dear Giffy ! Hugs !
We are having a snow day here. All schools are closed because of snow. Too bad I don't have skiis. Luckily I don't have anywhere to go but, I will try to fire up the snowblower. My husband is in Las Vegas for a convention. I have to clear the driveway so he can get into the garage...last time I used the snowblower I competely coated myself in snow. I looked like the Abominable Snowman.
Do you guys have any interest in seeing Las Vegas? I didn't care to go.
@dana. More than 30,000 people have committed suicide annually for more than 10 years in Japan. This number 30,000 is only the official one and the actual number can be imagined nearly 45,000, the survey says so. Most of them committed suicide, bc they felt they lost the good vision in the future due to the financial troubles. And some of them apparently suffered from the depressive illness or some mental disorder.
It is the actual fact about Japan, dana. I think the suicide situation in Romania is the same as in Japan.
Our news media pays attention to the former East nations and I learn they have the higher rate of suicide than the former West nations, and my country seems to belong to the former East nations in this point.....
I think Romania started the new history in 2007 when she joined EU. dana, I think it was the first advantage in your country, though people are still in trouble. I understand the leaders still cannot manage to run the country better. There are still more room for the foreign enterprise to invest in Romania.
and dana, I often think about the orphans in Romania. I've heard about them in TV so often.and some of them suffer from HIV. I've also heard the medical NGO from many countries including Japan often visit them and stay there. The nation's financial trouble always first reach the weak people who must be saved first though.
It may take some years for Romania to be finacially stable, but it does not take many years. The potential of Romania is really high and the almost 20-year homework for the politicians to make it breathe has not been completed.
It's bit late here, and I must get ready to sleep today, however I want to continue, dana. ...
Hope you have a nice evening, my dear dana ! Kisses & Hugs !
@Giffy Hi, Sis! Oh, I saw at the news you have a snow storm there!!!! Many schools and more than 100 airports are closed! It doesn't sound good at all! Do you need help to clear the driveway? I can come to give you a hand! LOL
@Dana I would love it if you could come help me! Think what fun we would have! I wish someone would invent a free teleportation device. We could all have regular meetings of Akselized Fans.
I'm surprised our snow made your news! LOL Not to worry, I'm used to snow. I'll make a big pot of soup and read a good book! It's in the south that they don't get much snow, so they don't know how to drive in it and panic.
@Ekaterina You're unbelievable!!! I told you so many times: you're amazing!!! How do you know so many things about almost everything? You know many things about Romania!!! The situation of the orphans here is much better than now 20 years ago, but after the Revolution in 1989 we found out we had the highest percentage of people living with HIV in Europe! As I said, now is much better, the kids are treat well now, they are not longer hungry! But they still need NGO help, bc my country has no financial resources, most people are poor! Talking about Revolution, seeing images from Egypt I remember what happened in Romania and I feel thrills on my spine!
I have to tell you that I saw on tv that Japan is not so in trouble, but of course you know better! In fact they talk more about your high-tech, I saw some documentaries about medical devices and things like this.
It's so sad that people can't find another solutions for their problems than suicide. But, as you said, most of them suffered from depression, the stress is too high for them!
But Hope dies last! So lets hope the things will be better pretty soon!
Please, tell "meow" to your little Ekaterina from me! LOL Wish you good night and sweet dreams, my dear Ekaterina! Love, kisses and hugs!
@Giffy Oho, I'm sure we'd have a lot of fun together! LOL And would be great to have a teleportation device, you have good ideas!
Beyond all bed things in my country I have to tell you we have some very good news Channels! And we know what's happening all around the world. More than this we can watch CNN live, which is great!
Enjoy your soup and your good book! Hope you'll have not troubles with the internet and we'll see you here! You kept your promise so far! LOL
@Nicoletta. It's so nice link on the year of Rabbit, Nicoletta ! Thanks very much for it !!!
Yes, our Japanese zodiac was imported from China some hundred years ago. And I met some new things by the link. I didn't know it is the year of " golden " rabbit. I also didn't know about Yin & Yang in the zodiac, either. It's interesting.
In Japan, the parents explain their little children that rabbit live in the moon. They don't know the reason, but they were taught by their parents in the same way, and their parents were also taught by their parents in the same way, ...... never ending back. In my case, I believed it until I started to connect the nature with the science in child manner.
And Nicolettchen, according to the lunar calendar, today February 03 is the first day of the year. I think we Japanese had lived with the lunar calendar until the late 19th century. Now most of us don't even know about that, but we still have the seasonal calendar. According it, we have 24 seasonal days every year. And the weather forecast people never forget to mention it, that's why I know about this. These 24 days include the 2 solstices, summer and winter. Those 2 solstices are the most famous among us in the 24 days, and the 3rd famous seasonal day comes tomorrow, February 04th. It is called " the first day of spring ". Usually our " seasonal " first day of spring is very Brrrr, but it seems a little different this year. The weather forecast says it'll be warmer and warmer from tomorrow this year, at least in Tokyo.
Have a nice day, my dear Nicoletta ! always love your comments !
@dana. First of all, my dear dana, ....... Let's make hope never die !
Thanks for the info about the orphans update, dana. Many NGO mostly from the former West nations continue to pay attentions to them and other things they confirm needs some help.
and yes, you're right. We are in trouble, but not so much yet. The high-tech is the only way we can survive, and we already have some. We have to make it grow and we're trying, but our government moves so so slow. I sometimes feel they must watch Aksel's race. ...;-)))
As for our medical high-tech, there are some complicated issues. In Japan, even 500g baby can survive. But do you think it is the best thing for a baby ? ..... And for the recent years, many babies have been born under 1000g weight. Do you think it's normal thing ? ..... It's been quite new to us, and nobody can foresee what will happen on these tiny babies when they grow up. So long as I know, I think baby had better stay in mother's womb for about 10 months and is born with the weight around at least 2000kg, if the parents want him or her to grow healthy.
Although the hospital which can do this " magic " is still limited,on the other hand, the nearly normal pregnancy are often neglected, and as the result the nearly normal baby & mother must die.
I want Egypt to settle the chaos as soon as possible, and I agree with the US president Obama. If the chaos continues for weeks, it'll give the damage to the world economy, bc Egypt government has been close to the US, I mean the former West nations.
and dana, thanks for your nice greetings to my baby sister ! Now I let her give her nose greeting to you !
Have a beautiful day, ny dear dana ! Kisses & Hugs !
These days, I saw on TV that a lot of Chinese people are moving at home. That means (4x the inhibitants of total Switzerland) are on the road to celebrate the Chinese New Year holidays with their families. I saw so many young people in a good mood, with lucky faces. So I decided to have a look at the "Year of the Golden Rabbit". I thought it is great to estimate very simple things what we have, for example: happy and healthy family members, nice place to life and enough to eat! Computer to write on the bolgs, Ha, Ha. TV, etc.
You are right, Ekaterina, it is time that World economy can do a step forward, we do absolutely not need this problems from Egypt, Tunesia and maybe, other Arabic countries will follow! I feel very much with the young and very well educated people - but I am very much freightened that it comes worse.
On TV I saw an extra reportage and several people (insider) joined this information evening. One older expert said: The best would be Egypt will have the same Democratic rights for the people (he mentioned Turkey!) - or - Egypt will end in the total CHAOS. Let's hope the very best.
Wish you a wonderful start into the New (Chinese) Year, Ekaterina!
I think, it is always fun to change some little things in our lifes, so I will celebrate this day too.
@Ekaterina It's impressive what you say about the babies born at just 500g, but I don't think it's normal! Just as you said, what will happen to them when they'll grow up? Will they be normal people, with a normal health condition? And not only physically, but also mentally!!
Nicoletta & Ekaterina I saw on tv how the Chinese ppl living in Romania celebrate the New Chinese Year, with traditional food, a lot of joy and...karaoke! lol
@Nicoletta I'm sorry that the link about the Year of the Rabbit it doesn't work for me! But thank you for the other links from Jon Olsson's blog! He has great videos there about any thing he and his friends do! And the views in his videos are simply breathtaking! I like he's so open and funny!
Wish you all a beautiful day and a good Year of the Golden Rabbit! Btw, we have clear nights here, so tonight I'll try to look for the rabbit in the moon! Haha! Love you girls!
@Nicoletta & @dana. They are moving now. The vast population in the huge land. And it is said 10% of the whole population in China belongs to the rich. It means the nearly same number of the whole population of Japan is the very rich in China now. In fact, they are good customer for us, bc their purchase ability is higher than us. But we Japanese often feels suspicious about the rest of 90% in China. They are poor and their dissatisfaction against their government has increased. What is more, China is the nation from several different races. And it is always the US concern that the militaly budget of China goes up immensely. So when we speak of BRICs, we treat " C " a bit differently.
But I also like to see them celebrate the new year ( in the lunar calendar ). It looks really special.
@Nicoletta. Turkey might be the best model, but I don't think it easy. Anyhow I think it is urgent that Egypt replace the active government and establish the new one. I think I feel like Mr. Obama. ...;-)))
@dana. Nice ! you look at the moon and find the rabbit.
yes, you're right, dana. 500g baby is out of question. The light weight babies are cared in the same condition as in the womb after Caesarean section. I understand they can live, but I worry so much about the brain.
@Giffy I wish I had ice skates & a working fire place! All the schools have been closed since Tuesday!
Stark County is nothing, but a sheet of ice. The power is out in someplaces because of ice built up on the trees & lines. We haven't had power in 28 hours. We are currently staying at my brothers house. Hopefully they come take the tree off our power lines soon!
@Mel I wondered if you had power? We didn't get the ice just snow, 9 inches I guess. It's a beautiful sunny day today. I'm glad I don't need to go anywhere. Stay warm!
@Nicoletta Thanks for the links! I love both the Olsson brother's blogs. Such great Nordic smiles and I laughed out loud at this vimeo...
@Ekaterina Happy New Year to you, your Father, your friends and especially your little sister...What do you eat to celebrate? Is anything considered lucky? Enjoy! Have a great year of the Rabbit!
@Dear Dana A special hello to you! Did I tell you I'm going to see my Mom next week? I'll see if I can get rid of Pete! More soon!
@Giffy Thank you so much my dear Sis! You know I have special feelings for you! Please, give to your mom best regards from me and my dad! LOL And be gentle to Pete!!! Haha!
@Giffy & Mel Wish you mild winter days, with less problems bc of the snow and the ice!
@Dana OMG have you seen that Ram Jam Black Betty video? So funny! Those guys are hilarious. How old is that video? P.S. I'm not going to be gentle to Pete I'm going to kick him to the curb...
@Giffy Of course I saw Ram Jam's video as long as I posted that link on ALS!!! LMAO I guess is from the 70's! They are hilarious but the music sounds very good! LOL Please, Sis, don't be so tough to Pete!! Haha!
@Giffy. As a matter of fact, Chinese and Japanese look alike, but we use quite different languages and the life style is very different. Then, Chinese celebrate the new year according to the lunar calendar, but Japanese celebrate it in the same way as you, January the 1st. I understand we are often mixed by people from abroad, and I think it's really normal for you, Giffy !
Hope you have a nice time with you mom, dear Giffy !
@Ekaterina I am happy you enjoyed the website of the Chinese Zodiac. I found it by chance, as I looked for the Year of the (Golden) Rabbit. I think the Asiatic Zodiac is very interesting to explore.
I am aware of the Chinese power. Hopefully it will not be a danger to the rest of the world.
@Dana Sorry you could not see the link. Fair enough Dana, you looked to the moon to greet the Golden Rabbit! Ha Ha
@Ekaterina @Dana I honour the achievements of medicine very much. But sometimes they make very extreme things and that costs a lot of money. Therefore in Switzerland the health insurance is explodeing and nobody can see that it will stop.
@Mel @Giffy Saw the snow situation on TV, wow, I have never seen such pictures on the roads. Hope sincerely you stay warm at home and electricity is working for Mel.
@Giffy I love the blogs of Hans and Jon very much, because they are funny, have a lot of power and are pretty talented guys. Beside of that, they stay always optimistic, no matter what happens. Nice!
@All Wish you a sunny day! Stay warm and enjoy life!
@Nicoletta. I think so, too, Nicolettchen. The extreme way of thinking brings us to ruin. ... And the extremists is often uncontrollable, and it's so difficult to make things together with them. I do want the moderate transiton from the present government to the new government whose leader I hope is not the extremists. ..... I'm talking about Egypt ... ;-)))
@Giffy, Dana, Nicoletta & Ekaterina Still no power at my house. We are going to get more snow over the weekend. I'm fine with it as long as my brothers power doesn't go out. All the hotels & motels are full. You have to go up to Akron to get a room. Though they have a make shift shelter at the Civic Center, but I can't sleep in a room full of strangers.
I can barely sleep in a room with my sisters...well that could possibly be because emily tried to sleep on top me all night. LOL We had the full size bed to ourselves & she wanted to take up the whole bed. I had to tell her a couple times to move over. Her feet were in my tummy, her arm was under my pillow & at some point her butt ended up on my shoulder. I think she was afraid of falling off the bed. Becca did fall off the air mattress on the floor.
It was funny I came in to go to bed & Becca was laying on the floor & Emily was in the middle of our bed. How a little 7 year old can take up a whole bed I'll never know. I thought I was gonna fall off a few times. Maybe we'll swithc sides tonight. She seems to like the left side of the bed.
Well I'm off to get some lunch before I go to class. Hopefully the teacher isn't late like last time.
@Ekaterina I'm happy we'll have some new alpine skiing slopes and ski jumping hills, but not bc of our leaders, but bc OMV wants to invest in these and they promised to bring us Austrian trainers and equipment! They hope after 5-10 years Romania to have at least one ski jumper in the first 10 of the world circus! It would be great!
Wish you to enjoy the concert tomorrow and to have a beautiful weekend with your little sister! Good night, my dear Ekaterina! Hugs and kisses!
@Mel I'm sorry you still have problems with the power! But I enjoyed to read your post, it was like I was watching a good comedy! Haha! I imagined your "fight" with Emily during the night! Hope your shoulder is fine now!! And poor Becca!! LMAO Didn't she wake up when she fell off? LOL You made me laugh!!!
Wish you to come back very soon in your new and comfortable bed! Have a nice weekend my dear! And take care of you and your "room mates"! LOL Kisses and hugs!
@Mel You're probably warm and that's why she's cuddled next to you! Hope your power situation is soon solved. We ended up buying a gas generator the last time we lost power in Dec. It runs the furnace, so the pipes don't freeze, one power outlet in the kitchen, and the fridge. At least we could stay in our house. Luckily, we didn't lose power this storm.
@Ekaterina My dear Ekaterina, I apologize, of course I know the difference and don't think you are the same. Very sorry if you thought that...am actually embarassed. I was thinking you were going to celebrate the lunar zodiac for fun. Not sure where I got that idea, but maybe I dreamt it? I worked for Honda of America, Motorcycle Divison, and came to Toyko in 1987. Then we flew home through Hong Kong because it was cheaper and stayed 3 days to shop. So I've seen both sides, not the same at all. Sorry about that, only wishes of the best kind for you my dear Ekaterina.
@Dana Have you ever heard the band Incubus, and the song Drive. How about Linkin Park? Their Lead Singer Chester Bennington is getting better with age like a fine wine. LOL!
@Corinna Did you see Papa Svindal last time you watched ALS ski? I wonder if ALS is missing his lucky charm? Hope you can rest after your training and testing his weekend.
OK all! Keep up the good work, have a great weekend.
@Giffy My dear Giffy, Drive was the first Incubus song I've ever heard! And I like it even now! "Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there"... I also like Wish You Were Here!
Hope you're kidding me when you ask if I've ever heard about Linking Park, right? LMAO OF COURSE!!! How could you think the contrary? Numb, In the End, The Catalyst, Somewhere I belong, Given Up....do you want some more? LOL
I have another example of getting better with age: MORTEN HARKET!!!!! LMAO
@Ekaterina In fact, I'll tell you a funny story about my first day at Honda if you'll make up with me! :) I had just graduated from college and was lucky to get a job at Honda as a receptionist, answering phones in the lobby of their brand new factory. The factory was just being finished, and all the workers were Japanese, and three American men, who hired me. One the first day I walked into the lobby thinking that is where I should report. Imagine my surprise to find out that is the room they were using as a locker room to change into their white uniforms for work. Imagine their surprise to see a young blonde haired, blue eyed, college girl walk in the front door as they're in all stages of undress. Just me and about 30 men. Luckily, I make friends very fast! I used to love to watch them do their warm-ups for work! I no longer work there but my brother does...
@Dana I thought you'd forgotten about Morten. You haven't mentioned him in a long time. What's going on with him? I just heard that Drive song on the radio and thought of you! How about 30 Seconds to Mars, This is War, or Closer to the Edge. Their lead singer, Jared Leto is very cute!
@Giffy Oh no! How could I forget about Morten??? LOL A few days ago AM sent me an article about him, he was to a Queen show (Brian May and Roger Taylor)in Oslo with his girlfriend Inez. And I got from a-ha official site a mail that informed me that Mags released a new solo album! LOL I still listen to A-ha music every day before I go to work!!! Am I crazy? Hahaha!
I know about 30 Seconds to Mars, but not very much! But I know Jared-really cute! and I like "Kings & Queens" video!
@Dana Becca didn't wake up when she feel off the bed. It was like 2in(5cm) off the ground. So it wasn't that far down for her, but Emily & I were 3ft(91cm) off the ground. It was funny though. The power came back on this afternoon while I was at school. I'm very glad to be back in my bed! Though I did love to spend the night at George's house. It used to be our Grandparents house. I spent most of my childhood in that house.
@Giffy We have a generator too, but we used it to keep the fridges running & a space heater this time. We usually only lose power in the summer or when it's not this cold. When it is this cold we pull some strings. We know a guy who works at AEP & we get our power back on pretty quick. This time though there were too many houses without power. I think it was 52,000 houses. There are still 12,000 houses without power. Our power was out for 54 hours.
Oops it was actually 55,000 for AEP & 2,300 for Ohio Edison. So that's a grand total of 57,300 homes & businesses without power. Hopefully they get everybody's power back on soon because there is another storm on the way.
@Dana Hello! My dear! You caught me again didn't you? I was on and then my computer went to completely black screen. What is up with that? What are you doing today? What happened to ALS today? I is nearly impossible for me to watch Alpine Skiing on tv.
@Corinna I am doing well. Our roads are cleared and I was able to get out and drive around so my cabin fever is gone! Glad you are rested from training and studies.
@Mel I'm glad your power came on and you are safely home. Have a great weekend. Time to Bake!
@Giffy Haha! I did it again! How are you? Do you still have lots of snow there? Today I'm pretty lazy! I did some housework, but not too much! Now I'm watching ski jumping live from Obersdorf! I'm very busy!! LMAO Aksel did not so bad, but a little mistake pushed him down on the 14th place! I'm sure he's disappointed, but we know he can do much better! So lets keep our fingers crossed for him for tomorrows race! I'm sorry you can't watch the races on tv! But why? I know you have Universal Sports! I'm watching on Eurosport!
@Giffy. I'm upset, my dear Giffy. I feel so sorry to have made you worry about that. Believe me I never misunderstand you ! But it's true almost all the people abroad including the college graduates does not see the difference between Chinese and Japanese. and I also think it normal for them. What is more, we have started to joke that some day in the future China claims Japan belongs to China. ... It's a masochistic joke. But I wouldn't like it to come true.
I enjoyed reading about your first day at Honda ! Very funny ! but it's so lovely episode between you and about that 30 men !
Have a beautiful weekend, my dear Giffy ! btw, time to bake " what " ? Kisses and Hugs ! Good night.
@Mel I thought this was a Valentine's Day post since it's Feb. 1, with the pink background and flowers! Nice bouquets! LOL! Too early for that! :) Only real men can stand in front of pink...I wasn't able to watch this weekend either. I was out of town.
ReplyDelete@Corinna Are you finished with training.
@Dana Hans Olsson has a picture of a sauna session. Why don't we ever get that?
ReplyDelete@Ekaterina Did you start the saurkraut yet?
@Giffy
ReplyDeleteThanks for your support, my dear Sis! I try to think positively, but...
About the sauna pic-I don't know? LOL
Don't you see? We ask him nicely to post a pic of his smile and it seems he does the opposite! Our guy is playing tough!Haha! I think he tries to show us who wears the breeches on his blog!!! LMAO
Have a nice afternoon! Love you!

@Nicoletta.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice link on the year of Rabbit, Nicoletta !
@dana.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, my dear dana, .......
@Ekaterina
ReplyDeleteThese days, I saw on TV that a lot of Chinese people are moving at home.
Love you!
Maybe you have already seen those videos from Jon Olsson's blog. Enjoy!

http://www.jon-olsson.com/?p=3898
Have a beautiful day!
@Ekaterina
ReplyDeleteIt's impressive what you say about the babies born at just 500g, but I don't think it's normal! Just as you said, what will happen to them when they'll grow up? Will they be normal people, with a normal health condition? And not only physically, but also mentally!!
Nicoletta & Ekaterina
I saw on tv how the Chinese ppl living in Romania celebrate the New Chinese Year, with traditional food, a lot of joy and...karaoke! lol
@Nicoletta
I'm sorry that the link about the Year of the Rabbit it doesn't work for me!
@Nicoletta & @dana.
ReplyDeleteThey are moving now.
@Nicoletta.
ReplyDeleteTurkey might be the best model, but I don't think it easy. Anyhow I think it is urgent that Egypt replace the active government and establish the new one. I think I feel like Mr. Obama. ...;-)))
@dana.
ReplyDeleteNice ! you look at the moon and find the rabbit.
yes, you're right, dana. 500g baby is out of question. The light weight babies are cared in the same condition as in the womb after Caesarean section. I understand they can live, but I worry so much about the brain.
@all ladies.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy afternoon/evening ! Love !
@Giffy I wish I had ice skates & a working fire place! All the schools have been closed since Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteStark County is nothing, but a sheet of ice. The power is out in someplaces because of ice built up on the trees & lines. We haven't had power in 28 hours. We are currently staying at my brothers house. Hopefully they come take the tree off our power lines soon!
I hope everybody stays warm!
@Mel I wondered if you had power? We didn't get the ice just snow, 9 inches I guess. It's a beautiful sunny day today. I'm glad I don't need to go anywhere. Stay warm!
ReplyDelete@Nicoletta Thanks for the links!
ReplyDelete@Dear Dana A special hello to you! Did I tell you I'm going to see my Mom next week? I'll see if I can get rid of Pete! More soon!
@Giffy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much my dear Sis! You know I have special feelings for you!
Please, give to your mom best regards from me and my dad! LOL And be gentle to Pete!!! Haha!
@Giffy & Mel
Wish you mild winter days, with less problems bc of the snow and the ice!
Love you!
@Dana OMG have you seen that Ram Jam Black Betty video? So funny! Those guys are hilarious. How old is that video? P.S. I'm not going to be gentle to Pete I'm going to kick him to the curb...
ReplyDelete@Giffy
ReplyDeleteOf course I saw Ram Jam's video as long as I posted that link on ALS!!! LMAO I guess is from the 70's! They are hilarious but the music sounds very good! LOL
Please, Sis, don't be so tough to Pete!! Haha!
@Giffy.
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact, Chinese and Japanese look alike, but we use quite different languages and the life style is very different.
@Ekaterina
ReplyDeleteI am happy you enjoyed the website of the Chinese Zodiac. I found it by chance, as I looked for the Year of the (Golden) Rabbit. I think the Asiatic Zodiac is very interesting to explore.
I am aware of the Chinese power. Hopefully it will not be a danger to the rest of the world.
@Dana
Sorry you could not see the link. Fair enough Dana, you looked to the moon to greet the Golden Rabbit! Ha Ha
@Ekaterina @Dana
I honour the achievements of medicine very much. But sometimes they make very extreme things and that costs a lot of money.
Therefore in Switzerland the health insurance is explodeing and nobody can see that it will stop.
@Mel @Giffy
Saw the snow situation on TV, wow, I have never seen such pictures on the roads.
Hope sincerely you stay warm at home and electricity is working for Mel.
@Giffy
I love the blogs of Hans and Jon very much, because they are funny, have a lot of power and are pretty talented guys. Beside of that, they stay always optimistic, no matter what happens. Nice!
@All
Wish you a sunny day! Stay warm and enjoy life!
Greetings Nicoletta
@Mel. & @Giffy.
ReplyDeleteI have the same worry as Nicoletta does. I see you love snow, but I think you do so when the snow doesn't make trouble so much.
Hope you stay warm, and enjoy a " powerful " weekend ! Hugs !
@Nicoletta.
ReplyDeleteI think so, too, Nicolettchen. The extreme way of thinking brings us to ruin. ...
And the extremists is often uncontrollable, and it's so difficult to make things together with them. I do want the moderate transiton from the present government to the new government whose leader I hope is not the extremists. ..... I'm talking about Egypt ... ;-)))
Have a beautiful weekend, my dear Nicoletta !
@dana.
ReplyDeleteIt is one of the good sign that your leaders have invested in the winter sports ! dana !
Tomorrow I'm going to the orchestral concert and have to miss the FIS site live, but I'll check it when I'm back.
Hope you enjoy the weekend, my dear dana !
Kisses & Hugs ! Good night.
ReplyDeleteI can barely sleep in a room with my sisters...well that could possibly be because emily tried to sleep on top me all night.
@Ekaterina
ReplyDeleteI'm happy we'll have some new alpine skiing slopes and ski jumping hills, but not bc of our leaders, but bc OMV wants to invest in these and they promised to bring us Austrian trainers and equipment! They hope after 5-10 years Romania to have at least one ski jumper in the first 10 of the world circus! It would be great!
Wish you to enjoy the concert tomorrow and to have a beautiful weekend with your little sister!
Good night, my dear Ekaterina! Hugs and kisses!
@Mel
I'm sorry you still have problems with the power! But I enjoyed to read your post, it was like I was watching a good comedy! Haha! I imagined your "fight" with Emily during the night! Hope your shoulder is fine now!!
And poor Becca!! LMAO Didn't she wake up when she fell off? LOL
You made me laugh!!!
ReplyDelete@Ekaterina My dear Ekaterina, I apologize, of course I know the difference and don't think you are the same.
@Giffy
ReplyDeleteMy dear Giffy, Drive was the first Incubus song I've ever heard!
LMAO
Have a great weekend my dear Sis! Love you!
ReplyDelete@Dana I thought you'd forgotten about Morten. You haven't mentioned him in a long time. What's going on with him? I just heard that Drive song on the radio and thought of you! How about 30 Seconds to Mars, This is War, or Closer to the Edge. Their lead singer, Jared Leto is very cute!
ReplyDelete@Giffy
ReplyDeleteOh no! How could I forget about Morten??? LOL
A few days ago AM sent me an article about him, he was to a Queen show (Brian May and Roger Taylor)in Oslo with his girlfriend Inez.
And I got from a-ha official site a mail that informed me that Mags released a new solo album! LOL
I still listen to A-ha music every day before I go to work!!! Am I crazy?
ReplyDelete@Giffy We have a generator too, but we used it to keep the fridges running & a space heater this time.
ReplyDeletehi girls!
ReplyDeletei can handle it to come to you all!
@mel how is the school going?
@mel and giffy how is the snow? have you a lot?
@mel i read that a part of your city doesn´t have power!
we here have today a real good sunny&blue sky day!
wish you all a great day
@Giffy
ReplyDeleteHi Sis! How are you? LMAO
@Dana Hello! My dear! You caught me again didn't you? I was on and then my computer went to completely black screen. What is up with that? What are you doing today? What happened to ALS today? I is nearly impossible for me to watch Alpine Skiing on tv.
ReplyDelete@Corinna I am doing well. Our roads are cleared and I was able to get out and drive around so my cabin fever is gone! Glad you are rested from training and studies.
@Mel I'm glad your power came on and you are safely home. Have a great weekend. Time to Bake!
@Giffy
ReplyDeleteHaha! I did it again!
How are you? Do you still have lots of snow there?
Today I'm pretty lazy! I did some housework, but not too much! Now I'm watching ski jumping live from Obersdorf! I'm very busy!! LMAO
Aksel did not so bad, but a little mistake pushed him down on the 14th place! I'm sure he's disappointed, but we know he can do much better! So lets keep our fingers crossed for him for tomorrows race!
I'm sorry you can't watch the races on tv! But why? I know you have Universal Sports! I'm watching on Eurosport!
@Giffy.
ReplyDeleteI'm upset, my dear Giffy.
Good night.
