Thanks for the link about Dani !
I checked it. According to " kind " traslation by Google, I judge his next race is GS in 19th, Alta Badia. Am I right ? Nicoletta ?

Have a beautiful morning, Nicoletta !

  3. @Ekaterina

Yes, Dani will not race in Val d'Isère, but he will do at Alta Badia.

Skionline made a lot of comments about Dani Albrecht at the moment. I hope sincerely you could read the one with the title:

"Daniel Albrecht: Als er Audi noch für ein Schnitzel hielt.."
    from 06.12.2010.

(and please scroll down to find it!!)

    http://www.skionline.ch/national

It is about his recovery and how he had to learn absolutely everything after his accident. Therefore, I think it is an unbelievable story. It is just wonderful that he could make it to get back as a skiracer!

    Have a pleasant evening, Ektaterina!

  4. @Mel

Hopefully everything went fine and the lawyer could help you.

    @All
Weather in Zurich was yesterday and today like in spring, 10 degrees! followed by the warm wind, the Föhn. So birds get totally confused and are already singing.

The horizon is beautiful, we can see huge snow mountains. Around the lake it looks amazing, a bit unreal, like a kind of Disneyland!!

But tomorrow it will be only 2 degrees and snow comes back. So everone has to be very flexible. LOL!

    Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the link, Nicoletta !
I think it has been great process for Dani. I'd like to keep on watching him. He is so smart, talented, and a nice person, AND he's one of the excellent ski racers.

btw, Nicoletta, I'm a bit exciting about thinking of your place. DL. Did you meet The Aristocat Marie ? , did you run with 101 Dalmatians ?, played with Bambi ? talked with Winnie the Pooh ? I'm, sorry, but I can't stop it !

Have a fun Wednesday, Nicoletta. Good night( here in Tokyo ). Hugs !

  6. Hello Girls, Good evening!

Hope everyone is fine and I would like to wish you a peaceful day/evening.

As longer as I think about Aksel difficulties on the Geneva Airport with the French language, I am a bit suspicious if he is not just kidding us! LOL!

    @Dear Ekaterina
And you are kidding me, Ekaterina!!! Ha, Ha.
Yeah, that would be great a ship tour with the oldfashionned paddle-steamer from around 1900. And of course, all Disney figures on the same ship. That would bring a lot of tourists to Zurich. LOL!

    @All
Have a nice day/evening and a lot of fun!

It's terrible when you try to get some sleep and you feel like you almost have cramps in your stomach bc you have trouble breating and your chest is like and church organ. LOL All that is over now. I just go barking around like a dog but that's nothing comparing to breathing problems!

  39. @AM That was a good picture on Dagbladet. No I didn't translate either. I hope I "Stem her!" correctly. It scares me a little that I am starting to learn Norwegian! LOL! I agree with Dana you can still be funny even when sick! A couple of days ago you posted something hilarious about his sivil status. Glad you feel better except for the cough.

@Dana Hi! Sis! I was thinking of you earlier, did you feel me? I was talking to my Mom and in the middle of the conversation I said, "You don't mind if I send you over to Romania as a mail order bride?" She just kept talking, but tomorrow she will probably call me and say, "What about Romania?" I hope your Dad doesn't mind.

@Corinna Hey dude! What's up? I was worried about you and the krumpus? I've never heard of that before. I baked springerle and leibkuchen today...

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Dana My furnace blew up! I'm getting a new furnace for Christmas. I think that when you've been a bad girl Santa Claus brings you coal but instead I am getting a furnace. UGH! I know I'm bad. I wanted a new laptop. Luckily, my dear husband was home and he could take care of the repair man. I hate that part, they always try to cheat me. That's the first time I've ever mentioned Romania to my Mom. She would love to take care of your Dad.

IDK about you guys, but I don't really tell anyone I follow this blog or the other. It's my own little secret. I want to keep you guys all for myself! Sleep well everyone. Cookies to bake before I sleep!

    ReplyDelete
  52. @AM LOL It was hilarious. It starts out with, "If he's stupid enough..." I loved it! I thought MH meant like a hum...

Did you guys notice FIMH is back?

    ReplyDelete
  53. @ Giffy Yeah, I've noticed that FIMH is back. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  54. @ Giffy Have you noticed that the anons are quiet these days.... hehe

    ReplyDelete
  55. @Ekaterina Just wanted to say hi! I hope your extra large batch of twin cabbages goes well and is a masterpiece! I can't wait to read all about it!

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Giffy Oh, sorry for your furnace! I think you used it too much in the last period and it failed! LOL
Maybe Santa will bring you also a new laptop! LOL

Oh, I thought your mom already has bought her wedding dress and you tell me it's the first time when hear about Romania?? I'm so disappointed! LMAO
    Sorry, what IDK means?

    ReplyDelete
  57. @AM I have noticed the anons, isn't it great? Who needs to read that nonsense. And other regulars like Longstockings and A. have been quiet. I'm glad you're still there. You always post such interesting links. It's good to have you back. You've been missed and I'm glad you didn't have to go to hospital.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Girls, sorry, but you are talking in a way I don't understand! LOL IDK, FIMH... you lost me!

    ReplyDelete
  59. @ DANA IDK. i dont know FIMH forever in my heart

but what did you mean about MH...

    ReplyDelete
  60. @Dana I heard this large bang and I thought, Do I have something in the washing machine? And that's when the furnace blew up, then it was so cold. Well, my Mom did have her hair done today so maybe that's why she didn't understand/hear me. I'll get her a dress don't worry about it, and ship her off! LOL! You're poor Dad, he will be so surprised. IDK means I don't know...I'll have you speaking english slang in no time.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @ Giffy Belive me when I say I'm glad too that I didn't have to go to hospital!! LOL And it's very good to feel better again after weeks with illness!! Very nice to hear I've been missed!! LOL
I see some of those ppl are over at Kjetil's blog!

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Dana Maybe we should send your Dad to sunny FL? Would he like that? We could surpise her with a wedding! She loves to take care of people, that's how we ended up with Pistol Pete, and Mr. Wyndall the dachshund.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @AM I like Kjetil's blog. He's doing a good job with it. He always looks to me like he's younger than he really is, like a puppy. I'm glad he's skiing well. I haven't been on Lars blog for a long time. Jon Olsson's blog is good too!

    ReplyDelete
  64. @AM It was an interjection, like aha (LMAO!!!) or I better had to say Hmmm! LOL

@Giffy But now the furnace works again,I hope!
Oh, I think I need an extra life to learn English as I like! LOL Or I have to move there with my dad! Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well my ladies, now I'm going to bed for a good night sleep!! LOL Good night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams!!

''hugs and kisses from all of me to all of you'' lol

    ReplyDelete
  66. @Dana I think you would like it too. The weather is so nice and you could ride your bike everywhere. Although, it is way too hot in the summer and it never snows in the winter. I think they are having some colder than normal temps now and they have to spray the strawberry's and oranges with water to keep them from freezing.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @AM Good night! Glad you are well! Hugs and kisses back at you!

@Dana I should let you go to sleep too! Enough of my tiresome chat. I had fun with you and hope you don't mind my wishful thinking. I'll try to catch you again soon. Night

    ReplyDelete
  68. @AM Good night, baby! Have a restful night! No HOT dreams, you have to recover first! LOL
    Love you!

    ReplyDelete
  69. @Giffy Thanks, is seems so nice there! I'll think about it! LOL I guess my dad will like too!

Yes, it's pretty late here but your chat is never tiresome! I love to talk to you! And I love you!
Have a great evening! Greetings to you mom!
Hopw to see you soon! Kisses and hugs!

  70. The lawyer is going to help me out. I told him that workers comp has approved everything so far, but the managers & a couple of my co-workers are harssing me. He said that they can call & tell them to stop, but it's no gaurantee that they will. He said that it's Wal-Marts policy to harass the people on workers comp because they don't like workers comp. He said that I don't have to pay him unless he gets me money. So I'm good with it.

I think it's not at all fun to get involved in this kind of matter, but, Mel, there is always some unpleasant people. Anyhow, congrats ! Mel ! You met the best lawyer !

Have a nice day with your lovely smile, Mel !, and please take care of your shoulder !

  72. @AM.
I'm glad you stay at your sweet home, not at hospital ! however, please AM, look after yourself. The exciting days are coming soon and I'm sure they are going to be the best remeday for you. Do you think Aksel will make an enrty in slalom ?

Hope you continue to get well, AM !

    ReplyDelete
  73. @dana.
on ALS, no doubt he knows the most famous phrase * Je t'aime * !!!

dana, I'm fond of the old European movies such as Visconti, Bertolucci( his films from '60 to '80 ), and Nouvelle Vague. There is a very well-known film of Nouvelle Vague titled " Ascenseur pour l'Echafaud " ( Elevator to the Gallows )by Louis Malle. It's his debut in 1958 ( !!! )with sensational inprovisation of trumpet by Miles Davis. I don't remember well, but the almost first line by Jeanne Moreau is * je t'aime * and it is so wonderful.
In Japan, there are many fans of the old movies, so they are often on the theater, and I watched it some years ago. But, dana, please do not get me wrong, because I wouldn't mean I like the story itself, but I mean I like the film itself. If you haven't seen this movie, dana, it's my recommendation.

btw, I'm happy to join with you shouting & screaming at the same time in Campina and Ebisu !

Have a beautiful afternoon and evening, dana ! Hugs !

  74. @Nicoletta.
DL on lake in Zurich looks real dream of fairy tale for me, Nicoletta !

btw, grandma of my German friend sometimes calls me " Yuko chen " and calls my friend " Judithchen ", but I'm not sure of the spell. Is " chen " correct ?

Talking about dream, I dreamed of Bode a few days ago, though I don't know why. In dream we talked cheek to cheek ... !!! Actually I don't remember what we talked and I think that's why it's a dream, but I remember what I thought about. Nicoletta, I'm not English speaking person and I don't have as many opportunities as you to listen and speak English. So it is not always easy to understand what Aksel speaks, because he speaks so fast, but I understand what Bode speaks. So, in the dream I thought it was good I talked with Bode, not Aksel, because if I talked with Aksel, I thought I had to say " wie bitte ? " oder " langsam bitte " every time he spoke and he left me before cheek to cheek.
And then, the conclusion of cheek to cheek is that when I woke up, I knew it was my pillow...

btw, again,Nicoletta, would you please inform me of the start time of the races coming weekend and the next weekend, when you get the information about them. I love to sit in front of pc and watch the live as possible as I can, so I'd like to manage my scedule for his(Aksel's) and Dani's.

Hope you enjoy a beautiful day in Christmas month, Nicoletta ! I'm going to bed now. Good night ! Hugs !

    ReplyDelete
  75. @ Ekaterina Thanks so much for your wishes!! I feel better and better for every day. So I feel I'm moving in the right direction. I will use my time to get well so I don't go back to the same shit. LOL

I'm sure Aksel will do his entry in slalom. Remember he's an all rounder. At least I hope he will race some slalom too! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  76. @Ekaterina I am sure he knows it, but bc he said he knows just Merci I wanted to prove him that I know more French than him! Haha!

I confess I haven't seen that movie but I've hear about it! I admire Jeanne Moreau as I admire many European artists! I think you are talking about this scene, right?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0-KMfxO0_A&feature=related

Ha! Let's synchronize our clocks to be sure we scream & shout together at the same time, you in Ebisu, me in Campina! It would be fun!:-))

Sleep well and have nice dreams, Ekaterina! Hugs!

  77. @Ekaterina Here's a link where you can see FIS calendar:

Once I dreamed that I was talking to Morten in Norsk and I was so happy bc I spoke it perfectly, but also I was so confused bc I didn't know when and where I learned it! Unfortunately, in state of consciousness I didn't know anything! Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  78. hi girls!

    how are you all today?

    ReplyDelete
  79. @Ekaterina

Glad to hear that the races in Europe have a more convenient time for you. As Dana has already posted the link you are perfectly ready to follow the events. That's great!

I am absolutely astonished that you watch European films in Japan like Louis Malle. As I was a teenager, we had a lot of nice French films in the cinemas. Now we have them very seldom and they are not my taste anymore.

It is our time, people do not want to "think" if they go to the cinema. So in Zurich a lot of films are in German (not anymore the undertitled version). French films disappeared practically.

But thank god, there are still some cinemas they show the original version. That's great!
I neglected to see French films, but on France 2 as well as Swiss French speaking TV would bring nice ones. I am more concentrated to English at the moment. I do not use French anymore. C'est dommage!

In the year 2005 I took lessons and I spoke fluently French about every theme and I brushed up french business language, but if you don't train .... it is comparable with sport. I should join a French blog too. Ha, Ha.

    Your question about ... chen:

If you have a name like
    - Judith

Judithchen is the version for a little Girl. It can also be the version for a girl friend, or an older person can call you so.

    Other example:
    Susannchen, Corinnchen, Nicolettchen, Ha, Ha.

Dear like "chen" in Japanese is similar to "cher" in French.

That means "Cher Ekaterina" for example if I start a letter.

I remember, the Japanese word san. Would we say Aksel san?? not really???

    Have sweet dreams, Ektaterina.
Dreaming from Bode is ok if you understand his way of speaking better then Aksel's.
    LOL!

    Very interesting .......!!

That you know Miles Davis, I am speechless. I know him too, I might have seen a concert with him. That is a special kind of Jazz and he is making extreme kind of music with his trompete. But he was an amazing artist.

    @All

    Have a beautiful evening!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. @AM I voted for Aksel.

I went to the doctor today & he said that he can't take me off me work. So I'm in pain all the time & just have to suffer with it & put up with people hitting me in the shouldar all the time. Which by the way makes it hurt even more. :-( Anyway now I have to go have a second opinion with Dr. Shephard. *sigh* Maybe I should have cried in front of him instead of waiting until he left the room.

    ReplyDelete
  81. @Mel I'm so sorry you're in pain! Nothing helps you? I mean some painkillers?
Take care of you and keep you warm! Love you!

Hope you all will like this:

  82. @Dana The pain killers are a hit & miss kind of deal. When I'm off work they usually do their job, but when I'm at work I have to stand in one spot on concrete so everything hurts after about an hour of standing there. Most of the time the pain killers make me very sleepy. You stay warm too! Thanks for the link.

    ReplyDelete
  83. @Mel.
That's too bad, Mel. I know some side effect from the painkiller, but did you try a sheet ? like a Loxonin sheet which has no smell and easy to put on the skin where you feel pain inside.

Really hope you have a great weekend with less pain or hopefully without pain, Mel! Hugs !

  84. @Ekaterina

Here is an other useful timetable from skonline.ch:

    http://www.skionline.ch/index.php?page=736

It is linked with FIS-Ski too.
If you click the "red time" you can follow the race.

    Männer = Men
    Frauen = Women

    Abfahrt = Downhill
    Riesenslalom = Giant Slalom

Around 20.00 h - the day before the race - you can see the startlist.

Please try out what is more convenient to you.

    Have a nice afternoon, Ekaterina!

    ReplyDelete
  85. @Mel

Do I get it right, you are in the middle of kind of bullying at work?
That is aweful! Maybe your pain in the sholder gets worse with this troubles at work all the time.

What did you say, the lawyer seems to be a good one. But if your boss and especially your collegues are mean, it is difficult to coope with them.

You are 25 years old, Mel?? Do you have the possibility to do a totally different job?
Only thinking about a change is sometimes nice.

I have a suggestion, Mel. Before you fall a sleep, think about a wonderful job, imagine that you are so happy and everyone around you is nice. Enjoy the good feeling.

And say everyday to yourself: I WILL FIND A NICE JOB SOON!!

There are different ways to aks for help, do it the way you like. To pray or whatever.

There should be a possibility that you feel totally happy again. Keep my fingers crossed for you, Mel.

  86. @Corinna

Hi Corinna. Wanted just ask you, if you look sometimes "Bergwacht" on Thursdays at ZDF?? It is kind of Heimatserie in the mountains. Andreas Marthaler is quite good looking, don't you think so?

    Have a nice day!

    ReplyDelete
  87. @Nicoletta.
Thanks for the useful link ! Nicolettchen !!!
very much looking forward to the race. The time difference between France and Japan is 8 hours now and I'm happy the race starts early in the day. I have a (primary)school reunion party to attend on Saturday from 16:00, so I will not be able to be back home for the 1st run, but I'm ready for the 2nd run.

yes,I see how you are surprised at this. But Japanese people are really fond of especially French and Italian movies produced from about 1940's to 1970's. You may find it a bit strange, but it is almost something like our tradition which we have been interested in European culture.I guess the old generation started this " new tradition " when they were young. So, there are such as " Jean-Luc Godard Fest " or " Visconti Fest " and so on somewhere in Tokyo through the year. so on means various, and German Film Fest and other European nation's film Fest, too. They are all small events in the the small cinemas. Before I met you, Nicoletta, dana, and AM, I only selected French, Italian and German films on this kind of occasion, but I think I'll check the film fest of Switzerland, Romania, and Norway although there are not so many events as French and Italian. I think the share is French40%, Italian40%, German5%, Polish5%, and the others10%. Of course I speak about the small, but longtime events of films, and generally Japanese films and American films are on the bigger cinemas normally.

and, Yes ! Nicoletta, you're right. We may call Aksel san. * san * means Mr., Mrs., Miss, Ms,and Messrs. * sama * and * dono * are the politest way and usually used on the envelope ( postal matter )and in the business matter. * chan * is chen, as you see. And we have one more word * kun * and it is used generally for boys and very young men.

Have a nice afternoon, Nicolettchen ! Hugs !

  88. @dana.
Thanks for the link ! dana ! I'll make the best preparation for the race.

btw, dana, you're multilingual, I think so.

and I cannot see the link: .....=o0-KMfxO0- ...., due to my poor pc and my poor ability. But it'the scene in the telephone booth or with a telephone.

It has been colder and colder in Tokyo. It's around 14C. I found one little flower of strawberry in our small garden this afternoon. I think it is the last one of the season. This strawberry is not for eat and just for looking, and I expect it'll be a little fruit in size of my pinky nail.

Hope you have a pleasant evening, dear dana ! Hugs !

Me multilingual?? Are you kidding me? Haha! Que te hace decir eso? Te parecen que yo se mas idiomas? Haha!
Not even my English is as good as I'd like! And if I can speak a very little Spanish (but I can't write bc I learned it from TV)and if I understand a very little French, it doesn't mean I know more languages! No way!

On that link was a scene from Ascenseur pour l'Echafaud where Jeanne Moreau said "Je t'aime"!
In my garden I have an ornamental shrub named "boule de neige" and it has blossomed for the second time this year (usually has to blossom in spring!)So your strawberry is not alone! lol

Good night, dear Ekaterina! Have a beautiful and happy weekend!
