Happy New Year!!!

I tried to find a ski pic that said Happy New Year, but I could only find a snowboarding...I think it's a bear...not sure. I hope everyone rang in the new year with people they love. I have a few more minutes until it's January 1st.

  2. I forgot to say that I hope everyone has eaten their pork & sauerkraut or will be enjoying it soon. I ate some at dinner & had some more at midnight. Now I'm off to sleep.

Thanks, and we're OK. The M 7.0 earthquake happened 370km underneath the seabed 600 km south from Tokyo in this afternoon. The tsunami didn't come, bc the actual spot of the earthquake was very deep like 370km underneath the seabed. It is the volcanic area in the Pacific Ocean.
Of course M 7.0 is not a small, but it was very deep and very far from Tokyo, but I felt the shake for some seconds which was not fearful enough for us, though.

But honestly speaking it was not a fun at all to have the shake in the first day of the year. and I'm surprised to have such a shake from such a remote one. I wonder what type of the earthquake it was.

I'm now watching the TV which broadcasts the New Year Concert by Wiener Philharmoniker " LIVE ". It is the annual pleasure for Japanese & the residents from abroad living in Japan.

btw, hope you have a good sleep tonight ! ... ;-)))

Thanks for the link, corinna, though I cannot see them. ...
But I understand what you mean. That's right, basically Japan and her islands lay on the Pacific Ring of Fire. I feel regret that we are in the ring of fire. It would be nice if we were in the ring of diamond. ... ;-)))
