Coming To A Wal-Mart Near You...

Yup that's right! Next time you go in to buy anything you may get a free syringe filled with God only knows what. One of the over-night stockers got jabbed with one a few weeks ago. I just found out about it otherwise I would have been telling everybody already. It had heroine, cocaine & benadryl in it. He has to go get a ton of shots & be checked every couple weeks or months to make sure he didn't get anything. Then another one was found by the front door. It's crazy & now I so don't ever want to go to work again. I'll be checking the toilet seats to see if there are any taped there. Then in Georgia they had them in the clothes!

  1. Here's the article about the store in Georgia:

I just don't understand why people do things like this. I'm gonna have to check our local paper to see if there is anything about my Wal-Mart.

Really sorry to hear about that, Mel!

It does absolutely not suit into the pre-Christmas time!

It is absolutely crazy and dangerous. Do they attack Walmart's certainly big shopping time before Christmas and are they paid for that??

    Very said.

I'm sorry for such a bad new, Mel ! ...

I remember the similar crime occurred in Japan before. But it was the sewing needle. Someone put it in the bedding, and someone put it in some sweets in other case. The target is the company which produces the goods. just nasty.

I left home at 08:30 and came back home at 15:30. I'd been in TWMU to take some checks and MRI. I asked the TWMU person in the hospitalization section about the notebook. It is not allowed to take with me in the hospital, she said. According to her, it is to avoid the trouble with the medical appliances in the hospital. But I would't believe it, bc there are also medical appliances in the hospitals in Switzerland and Germany, but the patients can take the notebook with them !
I guess Japanese patients must be naughty. ... ;-)))

  8. @Ekaterina

So you are a Mahler fan, indeed, Ekaterina! LOL

    Love Rusalka from Dvorak!!

Absolutely great and romantic music! Breathtaking!

Shocked about the regulations you have in the hospital, that is really unbelievable!!

The hospital is naughty, not the patients .... Ha, Ha

The patients need so much to communicate with the family and the world to get healthy and it is urgent to come over the many hours staying in the very clean & boring hospital.

PC, notepad, handies, E-phone are kind of human rights in my opinion.

Did you say not even television is allowed in Japanese hospitals?

Therefore you bought the little radio. So you are lucky, Ekaterina, you have got the news and also the music!

I am not an expert, but I think the new generation of technical equipment like pc, notebook, etc. do not disturb the equipment of the hospital!

The same it was in the aeroplanes some years ago, wasn't it lake that?

I am very said to hear that from you, Ekaterina!

Do you know already how long you have to stay in the hospital after the surgery??

  12. The only reason I can think that people would do something like this is to get them to stop shopping at Wal-Mart. It's just crazy, but there is always some nut that is willing to attack Wal-Mart in any way they can.

  20. girls i should tell you something funny and crazy!

i came home yesterday from work! my dad asked me how work was, but it was his voice but it wasn´t him!
my mom couldn´t stop to laugh and i was standing there the first 3min without checking what happen!
but then i recognize that my dad cut is beard of to a mustache!
i know him now over 27,5 year, that is how long i be on earth! and i didn´t know my dad without beard!
my mom told me that when i was 1 or 2 years old my dad also take off his beard but since that times not anymore! but he wanted now to take it off! and so my dad look now real different!

it is crazy but also great!

Yes, I am a Nicole and not a Klausine! HaHa

BTW, Aksel had a great first run! Kjetil was also great, and showed some artistic moments as well!

So Kjetil finally succeeded to jump on the podium! Third place, not bad. Congrats, Kjetil!

Maybe Aksel had a very hard job, skiing after all these hot shots, including a wonderful Ted Ligety.

Aksel did a solid job in the 2nd run, but there was a tiny bit of luck (or a little mistake or not fast enough?) that prevented him from getting further. No problem, so let's look what he makes in Val Gardena.

    New destination, new possibilities!

    Good luck, Aksel!

Where on the world are the last mohicans???

It is so quiet on Mel's blog these days. As more activity and more motivation ALS shows it is super quiet here.

    I presume:

    - Giffy writes a great novel and has to buy the fishfinder for her husband

    - Dana is captured by FB and the sweet biker from Norway

    - Ekaterina is busy with enjoying all her superb classical events

    - Mel has to much work at Walmart and is so much engaged with her studies

    - Corinna sends from time to time a life sign

Have a great time, My Ladies!

    Hugs & Kisses!

    Hope you are right, Corinna!

Today I made with my partner a little walk trough the decorated Bahnhofstrasse and enjoyed the light decoration "Lucy" as well as the Samichlaus Tram (exactly like in the videos I posted some days ago). We had a great time there!

After visiting a clientsituated at the lake, we noticed the big chain of snow mountains around the lake of Zurich. These days the Föhn is very much active, so the sight was marvellous.

It looks like snow conditions are getting better in Switzerland!

    @corinna

Both of you are right ! ... :-)))

I'm in Tokyo in Christmas season every year, but I always dream about the beautiful scenes in Europe and the US. Of course we have the christmas decorations in the city, however our history of the christmas decoration is still very short. ... ;-(((
The most of Japanese thinks about the next year's zodiac, instead.
It is the Dragon for 2012.

btw, Dr.Shiba of TWMU told me the period of my hospitalization is about 3 weeks. and it has been 3 weeks since he and I decided the surgery, so I think of the past 3 weeks to imagine my special 3 weeks in possibly February. I feel nothing ! ... ;-)))
But I think about how to get in touch with you.
I think Nicolettchen is definitely right. It is just nonsense that the patients cannot take the pc and the handy to the hospital.

The next appointment with Dr.Shiba is December 19th and I expect he changes his mind and shows me another easy plan except the surgery of the 7 hours from Tokyo to Moscow. ... ;-)))
I think I'm confident in the workouts.

It's so fun to read about corinna's dad ! Does he say he feels a bit cold ? ...;-)))

Actually I've been busy with the concerts and the social activities in this season now.
I'm also busy with the new matters related to
TWMU. So as you see, I've been absent from ALS, weil habe ich keine Zeit.
But it looks it has brought him many good lucks ! so I think it good ! ha ha ! I believe he gets the crystal again this season.

It was 2°C to 7°C in Tokyo today. Of course it's warm inside the house, bc my baby sis loves it !

    @All ladies !
    Have a beautiful weekend !
    Kisses & Hugs !

  29. @Ekaterina

You are a very brave girl, Ekaterina!

You take the whole thing with the haevy surgery in such an admirable way. I am very proud to have met you, Ekaterina!

Yes, Mr. Shiba should work out another plan, the "flight" is actually a bit long! 3 weeks in the hospital, that means "a trip around the world", I do not think it takes more time?

The other thing with the PC & handy is also in my mind. You cannot really hide it under your blankets, Ekaterina, or sew it into a little pillow, or perhaps a teddy bear! LOL

Don't worry, Ekaterina, you are one of the corner stones her on Mel's blog, as well on Aksel's!

I am glad for you, you have so many activities and concerts now, so time flews away. It seems you have actually pretty cold in Tokio, here with the Föhn it is around 10 degrees and we have kind of orcans! I do not like them so much.

Interesting hint you give us. The year of the Dragon for 2012! So I have to investigate what it brings!

  30. @Corinna

What does he do? Does he wear a 3 days beard, or is he shaving himself every day??

  31. Here I found a new entry of Hans Olsson about: Slalom skills versus downhill discipline - written in his typical funny style!

I think he is right, DH needs a lot of courage and it is nearly impossible to learn if you haven't got kind of killer instinct!

    http://hans-olsson.com/you-are-not-ivo/

On the otherhand, slalom has a lot to do with endurance, diligence and agility! On the long run, Aksel will do more progress in slalom, I am so sure!

It could also be a problem of the set-up, skis & boots are so important for every discipline. Much more difficult to adjust, if you are not so much experienced.

Regarding stature, I do not think there is a big difference between Ivo and Aksel! LOL

Also my slalom heros, Ted and Bode look not so much different, they do slalom in an irresistable, athletique and powerful way! I think Aksel should once get the occasion to train slalom with the US team!

    ReplyDelete
  32. @nicoletta and ekaterina my dad is shaving now every day!

well i got a new haircut on wednesday!
and today a patient told me " i really have to apologize me but i have to say this now: your new haircut looks so hot! and it fits totally good to you! you look hot"

and my brother told me "when do you finally move out from at home and when do you will get a new boyfriend? i think it is about time that you move out and get a new boyfriend"

@ekaterina you be real brave bc of the surgery! i hope you will enjoy your christmas time without to much thinking about it!

  37. The Year of the Water Dragon 2012

Let's see wat it brings to us!

I found this text, suits in a way to our troubles with the energy (like AKW, etc.) and the finance situation in the world, because I think people have a lot to re-evaluate.

    Text:
Water has a calming effect on the Dragon's fearless temperament. Water allows the Dragon to re-direct its enthusiasm, and makes him more perceptive of others. These Dragons are better equipped to take a step back to re-evaluate a situation because they understand the art of patience and do not desire the spotlight like other Dragons. Therefore, they make smart decisions and are able to see eye-to-eye with other people. However, their actions can go wrong if they do not research or if they do not finish one project before starting another.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Nicoletta
Thanks, Nicolettchen ! I understand that the wisdom will be the winner in 2012. I think the wisdom has been put aside for years especially in Japan, bc it doesn't make money at once.

The most of Japanese believes the year of the Dragon makes things wild and we gain some profit from it, and I often think it's silly way of thinking. But the Water Dragon is great ! It's my style of thinking !
Until I read the text you introduced to us, I've felt it's not fun to start the year of the Dragon, but I think differently now. The Water Dragon helps us if we walk carefully step by step while keeping being modest & honest. It's so nice, isn't it !?

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Ekaterina

Yes Ekaterina, I feel also quite comfortable with the Water Dragon!

Wisdom is great, especially if it has the meaning of insight and better understanding.

As more as I read the text, I love it!

Personally, I do not think it is time to make money, so many things are in disorder and have to be cleared, rebuilt and reconstructed, to be simply re-evaluated. Only after that, we can make a new start!

It will take some time to get over all these problems caused by the financel crises in 2009. The troubles with some European countries like Greece, Italy, etc. are side effects because to much money went to the banks to save them. Now some countries are in serious troubles - they are nearly broke. Also the currency Euro got a serious shock!

    Therefore I like especially:

    - Water has a calming effect

    - These Dragons are better equipped to take a step back to re-evaluate a situation because they understand the art of patience and do not desire the spotlight like other Dragons.

    - Therefore, they make smart decisions and are able to see eye-to-eye with other people.

    The only handycap could be:
    ***************************

However, their actions can go wrong if they do not research or if they do not finish one project before starting another.

Let's see what will happen in 2012!

    Good luck to everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Nicoletta
yes, the text is very helpful. I think I'll keep it in my mind during 2012 ! I feel the wisdom only can overcome " the handicap ". The pure wisdom, I mean.

Have a nice Sunday, Nicoletta !

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Ekaterina

    The meaning of pure wisdom!

It tooks me a while to understand what you mean because we do not speak so much about wisdom here, it is more about knowledge or science.

But wisdom is superior and could help us to get things better at the end.

Wish you an agreable evening Sunday, Ekaterina!

today i get knowing that they be engaged since the 6 of december!

haha well what should i say! when he want´s such a bitchy-crazy-girl then he deserved it!

    and how life is:

    you get what you deserve!

so i think he deserved this crazy girl! and when he is happy with such a control freak and arrogant and angry and explosive and hysteric and irritable girl!
then he should be happy with that!
but i be sure that this will be not for ever and when he get´s pissed off of it then he cheat her with an other girl!
bc when you cheat one time your girlfriend then you will do it in the future too!

bc he just wants to marry when he gets a child (oh and he doesn´t like kids) so he just said that!
and he always told me that when his girlfriend get pregnant that would be the only reason for him to marry her!!

she is just something for bed, but to silly

  57. @Corinna

I think, I quite can understand you, Corinna.

It is not so easy to see your ex getting engaged, married or whatever, because you have had a relationship for a certain time, or more.

He shared his life with you and vice versa.
You will always have mixed feelings about his further life also in the future, I am afraid.

You know and we all know, you are one of the luckiest girls that exists! So everybody has somewere a weaker point, and sometimes it needs a longer time to find the solution.

Don't worry Corinna, your time will come and you really have the best cards to be totally happy.

Forget this guy, Corinna! He does not even suit to your new hot hairstyle, be proud on you and stay as positive as you always use to be!

It is only positive that this man is YOUR EX and not more. Shall he be happy with that girl, so he doesn't bother you!

You decided to go different ways anyway.

Your way is not yet clear, listen to your heart and follow your instinct and you certainly will find the one that deserves you, Corinna!

Remember the words of your brother about your new hairstyle, Corinna! Look into the mirror and smile!

If I were you, I would go out. Have a drink in a bar, or a coffee in a coffeshop and look around and see what happens.

If you have nobody nice to come with you, go alone, no problem. I suppose it is your chance!

I do not believe that all nice people are hiding at home! Make some new acquaintance females or male, Corinna! There are so many interesting people around.

Sporty, positive and lucky girls with a nice family and a second home at Lake Guarda are the best, Corinna!!

Take it easy and good luck, Corinna!

i think the right guy will show up for me once a day!

@nicoletta we have tomorrow "weihnachtsfeier" from my work! and we will go out for dinner! so let´s see who is sitting around in the restaurant!

and in januray i start with zumba in a sporting club!

I am sure, you will enjoy the Weihnachtsfeier and certainly meet a lot of great people which are in line with you because of the same profession or at least working in the same sector.

Zumba in a Sport club sounds absolutely great!
So you will meet a lot of sport people and furthermore do something for your helath & the good mood! Keep eyes wide open and smile, Corinna!

Wish you good night. Sleep well Corina!

Today we have the first snow in Zurich!

Looks great and makes a good mood. I am looking forward to the DH race today!

May the best skiers win! I think it is fun to see also once in a while a newcomer!

Aksel is definitely one of the big, big favorites and he gives us a lot of fun these days! Hope he can stay relaxed, and can just ski in his superb manner, without thinking so much.

I am afraid, everyone has now to count with Kugelblitz Feuz! HAHA

Here some pictures from Val Gardena incl. the prize giving ceremonies. The best pics are at the end. Have fun!

I may not be a good girl to speak like that, but I understand Aksel was lucky today in DH, bc it was cancelled on the way. Am I right ?
    and so windy ?

  62. P.S.
Actually I'm confused, bc the points are added in the FIS Live standing. Is it possible to declare the cancellation during the race ?

  63. @Ekaterina

Cancellation is definitely bad luck for Theaux, Claret and Küng!

But I agree with you, Ekaterina, for Aksel, Feuz, Cuche, Kroell it is kind of fair, because they had troubles to bring on a fast run with that conditions.

My commentator said after Defago it was tricky with the wind situation. At the end to much wind could also be dangerous for the racers with the huge jumps on the Camel Buckel, etc.

    Wish all a great weekend!
    Hugs & Kisses!

Thanks for the quick reply, Nicolettchen !

yes, it does not look fair, but it looks fair.
My guess is that it depended on the supervisor who made the decision if the race would be able to take place. I guess the weather there was not perfect to give the go-sign. The outdoor sports, especially the ski race is often risky for the supervisor.
I hope it'll be the nice weather tomorrow !

    You are welcome, Ekaterina!

I don't expect to much regarding weather conditions of tomorrow! It will stay unstable, but never loose Hope!

    Good night, Ekaterina!

Happy Birthday to your Godchild Rolf !
I feel it's nice custom in the Christian nations, Nicolettchen ! To our regret, we don't have the manner of the godchild. ... ;-(((

I visited TWMU today and met Dr.Shiba again. The surgery will be in March, he said. Bc there are some troubles in my body, which must be taken away before the back surgery. I happen to belong to the family( my mom's side ) who has the varix of the lower extremity and I have had it since teens. Usually I do not care about it, but it's better to do something about it before the surgery. So the surgery plan has moved to March from February. But that's OK, bc Dr.Shiba told me I can spend my holidays in Germany in August.

The next appointment with Dr.Shiba is January 16th. Is it anybody's BD ?

    @All ladies !
It's been very cold in Tokyo, but I know it'S warmer than your places. ... ;-))) Congrats to Nicolettchen on the first snow in Zurich !

Have a great new week !
    Kisses & Hugs ! Love !

Thank you so much Ekaterina for thinking of my godchild's Birthday!

Sorry to hear, you have to do first something with your varices (Krampfadern). I think you are definitely glad when all is over. Ok now you have to wait 1 month longer, who knows for what it is positive!

Here it is still very cold, the advantage is, it looks very beautiful and we enjoy the Winterwonderland!

    Have a beautiful evening, Ekaterina!

    Thanks, Nicolettchen !
    I hope I'll have a pretty spring & great summer in 2012.

I checked the temperature in Zurich. It's from -4 to -2. It's definitely cold while it's from +2 to +9 in Tokyo, however it's cold enough for us. ... ;-))) But it's the dryness in winter in Tokyo, which makes us annoyed. My favorite hand creme is Avene.
The high humidity in summer & the low humidity (dryness)in winter. It's the climate of Tokyo.

Hope you enjoy the beautiful winterwonderland, Nicolettchen !

  69. @ekaterina i be so sorry to hear that you first have to do something against varices!
but it is better, then there will be some troubles after it!

    do you have this handcreme?

i have this one! and i love it!

    That's it, corinna ! I love it, too !

Do not know AVENE handcream, only the name of the cosmetic line. But I know, it has an excellent reputation!

I use Nivea hand cream Anti-aging for the day and Nivea SOS cream (it is a copy of the Norwegian Neutrogena HaHa) for the night! Both are not that expensive and real good for my purpose.

Nivea is ok for me, because I had never an allergy, I like also Nivea body cream for dry skin!

It is true, during winter skin needs more care! Let's cream, Ladies!

  72. Today we have heavy snowfall in Zurich and even more snow, on the streets we have chaos.

Wish you a good day! Hugs & Kisses!

  73. @Nicoletta
    YES ! Let's cream ! and let's scream during the race ! ... :-)))

That's right, Nicolettchen. Avene is French cosmetic line, but I use only its hand cream.
I think Nivea is more famous than Avene in Japan, btw.

I checked the weather in Zurich and other cities in Switzerland, and learned the snowfall all over the country ! It's also my image of Switzerland in winter.
Please be careful not to slip on the road !
I suppose it's so beautiful in Zurich covered with the pretty Christmas decoration, so some people concentrates too much on it and slips.

How many cm of snow do you have ?

    ReplyDelete
  74. @Ekaterina

Not so much snow, maybe 5 cm! But in the morning all was covered by snow. It looked so beautiful! The buses got into troubles everywhere in Zurich, and I was lucky because I left my home at 12.30 h.

The bus driver said: Wish you a great travel!
It will be kind of adventure anyway! HaHa
We arrived with a small delay, and the engine sounded a bit funny, but otherwise ok.

You are right Ekaterina, in the afternoon it was very slippy because of constant rain and higher temperature. I had to pick up a registered letter in the city, and I was more slipping than walking!

With this weather conditions I remember always the DH skiers, so I think it is an advantage to walk only straight away! With that thinking it is not such a big problem for me anymore! LOL

I think it is like dancing, and you have to be very careful with the balance!

    Also all in white??

How was your Christmas evening with the office??
