  2. Hello girls! I'm back! Haha!

    @Ekaterina Thank you very much, my dear! I worked about two months on these videos, it wasn't easy for me bc, as I said, it's the first time when I do this, but it was a real pleasure!
    Hope Aksel liked them!

    How are you? How do you feel? Hope your neck doesn't hurt anymore and everything it's fine!

    I feel better, thanks for your nice words! And fortunately I have this day off, so I can recover 100%!
    I have another reason to be happy: it's SNOWING!!!! Yesterday we had spring and now we woke up in the middle of the winter!:))

    Wish you and all the girls here a beautiful day and a wonderful last week of this year!!!
    Hugs and kisses!

    Glad you feel much better!!

    @Ekaterina
    Following these recapitulation films of 2010 is amazing.
    I love to see them too.

    Last week of this year!!! Time goes by so fast! LOL

    I'm very happy that you recover from being sick and feel better, my dear dana ! The best remedy for you seems a snow. and it's really like you !

    And thanks, dana, I feel better, too. I visited my doctor today to hear about the result of the blood test. It says I'm perfectly healthy. The cause of the dizziness is a little and minor hurt in the nerve of my neck. Although it is such a little one, it is connected to the nerve near my ear which part works for the normal sense of balance. So my doctor gave me again plenty of the LOXONIN tape and I'll put it on my neck before going to bed depending on my condition. My doctor also told me it is good to visit a chiropractic even if I don't make an entry to the Olympics ! :-))) So I think I visit the " Crack ! Crack ! " once in 3 weeks during this winter to prevent from suffering dizziness again. In my doctor's opinion, the direct cause of my neck trouble is occured by an impact, but indirect cause is from the overwork and the stress. Some people suffers from the stomach trouble because of it, and some suffers from the excess tention on the neck & shoulder bucause of the overwork & the stress, he explained.

    Hope you, my dear dana, and all ladies visiting here Mel's, have restful days before the opening of 2011 ! Kisses & Hugs !

  6. @Nicoletta.
    The recapitulation films are very interesting to watch and the films include many scenes which have not been on air yet.

    and thanks very much for the links ! my dear Nicoletta ! honestly very helpful to me !

    Then I don't think Aksel is happy about DIFF +2.74 today. It sounds too slow. I suppose he thinks about running with another set-up tomorrow. I'm not sure if he broke a few ribs in the crash before Christmas, but he is not a type to say any excuse about it, and I hope his condition becomes better and better.
    Tomorrow evening, I go to the opera " Tristan & Isolde ". It starts at 17:00 and ends at 23:00, so I cannot check TRA live tomorrow, but I think I'll check the FIS site soon after I'm back possibly around 00:00 midnight before taking off my long coat !

    There is no snow in Tokyo, but it has a rather heavy snow in several parts of Japan. Yesterday, there was an accident which the big and long vehicle slipped on the road and blocked the road. and it made 100 km Stau of cars for long hours, so the local government supplied the water and food for passengers in the cars in line of 100 km lenght, and they also supplied the gasoline for their cars.

    Hope you have nice days before the count-down, Nicolettchen ! and hope all ladies checking our sweet Mel's have nice dreams ! Kisses & Hugs !

    I think you are preparing for some kind of Olympics and you don't want to tell us! Haha! And it seems that you started to like "Crack! Crack!" your neck!:))
    I'm so happy that you feel fine and your blood test results are good!

    You say your doctor told you that the stress is the cause of many health problems! I've noticed thatI have strong migraine when I work too much, when I'm under pressure and I'm very stressed! At that moment I even can keep my eyes open, I can't stand the light and the noise, I can't stand any smell bc I'm sick too! But how to get ride of stress?
    One method is to make sports outdoor, in fresh air! And in the snow is perfect! So I'll look out for my sledge and I'll go out! LOL
    I forgot to tell you that my friend Haruian thanks you so much for your greetings! He helped me very much, indeed!

    Have a nice evening and a restful night with your lovely little Ekaterina! Btw, today I saw again those two squirrels on my fir tree! They are so cute!
    See you, my dear Ekaterina! Hugs and kisses!

  8. @dana.
    I just remember that I dreamed about Aksel last night. I think it is because I watched the vids you made, dana !
    It was a funny dream. In the Opera, Aksel seated 2 rows ahead of me to the right. He was not with Julia, but with a man looked like Ligety. Aksel was nicely suited up. It was shortly before the second act began, when I was to back my seat, Aksel was standing and talking with a man in the back seat of him, so
    I could notice that was Aksel. and I remember I felt confused wondering why he was here in the opera tonight...
    my dear dana, it is the first time Aksel appeared in my dream. Some weeks ago, Bode appeared, I still don't know why. But this time, I think your vids made this magic to me !
    So much thanks again, dear my dana !

  9. @Ekaterina
    I'm so happy if my videos really made you to dream about Aksel!
    Aksel and Ted at the Opera! Haha! What a pity you couldn't take them a pic! Next time when you'll dream about him, please, take the camera with you!:-))

    You don't have to thank me, dear Ekaterina, I'm happy that you and the girls like the videos!

    Have a pleasant evening-almost night for you!

  10. @Ekaterina
    That was too funny, reading about your dreams, Ekaterina!!
    So beside of being dreaming of Aksel, you seem to have a certain affinity towards some American ski racers! Maybe it is because they tell about Bode and Ted, they have such a wonderful style of skiing. LOL!
    I knew, you have an excellent taste, Ekaterina.
    Yes, if you could take some pics during your next dream with Aksel, that would be very much appreciated!! Ha, Ha.

    Regarding Aksel's 1st training result, I think he has some problems since his crash in Val Gardena. That he kept it secretly about the rips (if it is really true??) I can understand. The press is just horrible. So all in all, regarding that, it was ok with his 9th place.

    Carlo Janka did not say a lot about his health problems too. But fact is, he is suffering since Sommer of a nasty virus infection and could not train enough. Because of taking care of himself and loading his batteries, he is not skiing in Bormio.

    The future will show us, what Aksel and Carlo are able to do. The season is long and everything is open.

    Please enjoy Tristan & Isolde for me too, Ekaterina. Wonderful and very moving opera!

    @Dana & Ekaterina
    Yesterday we were invited to another lunch in a restaurant in Lörrach. That is already in Germany but next to Basle, Switzerland. The food was a bit strange. But the people very nice.

    There I met Violetta. She is from Hungary, lives already 25 years in Switzerland. She was raised near the border of Romania, Siebenbürgen she told us. She mentionned something also Transylvania and Count Dracula. So we had a lot to discuss and I was intensively thinking of you Dana.

    An other guest was a Crano- Sacral therapist. He was a very interesting person and was checking out my partner, because he has different troubles with his health. His comments about several health problems were absolutely facinating.

    He has also very much the opinion that health and mind go very much together. And even long forgotten circumstances can have a great influence on our bodies.

    Hope very much, you have had fun while watching the training race on FIS. I checked all the time the results and followed Aksel, Bode and Cuche and some others during the whole race. There are so many Austrian Cracks or from South Tyrol, Ha, Ha.

    Have a nice evening and/or some interesting and sweet dreams!!

  11. @dana.& @Nicoletta.
    A camera. ... a good idea ! Next time I try. ..:-)))

    It's fun reading about the lunch you attended, Nicoletta !

    Now Aksel explained us about a broken rib, so we don't have to worry about the result wondering why ... Just let's and see, and wait for the full recovery. I feel he runs faster than yesterday in TRA, bc I think he knows what to do the best.

    See you, dear my dana and Nicolettchen, I'm leaving here for some household and going to the Opera.
    Hope you enjoy the FIS site live today, and watch the DH race in the TV tomorrow !

  14. Hey Everyone! Hope Aksel heals well and races safely this weekend. He baked his own pie!

    Merry Christmas late and Happy New Year to evbody. Sorry I haven't been around. But I've enjoyed catching up this a.m. on everyone's sites. I'm loving KJ site, and ALS too. The Svindal Christmas tree is so pretty. I have a pretty blue spruce pine tree myself, and we had snow on the ground. We tried to ice fish but didn't catch anything. I've been busy busy with Christmas and my oldest son graduated from college last weekend. I'm so proud. I warned you I was old. I actually have two sons, and the younger one is still in college.

    @AM American Pie! LOL! Did you study in the US? Do you do a semester abroad? You are so funny, and completely fluent in American...

    @Dana I haven't forgotten our wedding plans. I need to check out your awesome YouTubes, but I haven't had time yet. I have to go see my MIL today and then I will be exhausted...will check back soon.

    @Everyone I miss you all! Hope everyone had a happy holiday! Happy New Years! More soon...hugs and kisses!

  15. @Giffy
    Hi my dear Sis!!! I miss you too and I was waiting for your post!
    First of all CONGRATS for being a proud mom of a graduated son!!! LOL You're not old at all!!!
    Haha! You'll have a surprise listening the music of my videos!!! Hope you'll like them! I think Aksel was so busy this period and he hasn't seen them yet! But I'm happy that you, my Akselized girls, enjoy them! LOL

    Give my best regards to my "step mom", the future wife of my dad! LMAO I think I have to make a video for their wedding too! Haha!
    Take care of your MIL!!! Some day you'll be a MIL for TWO girls!!!!

    Hope to see you here before the end of this year! Hugs and kisses! Love you, girl!

    I'm glad you thought about me while you were talking to your friends about the Count Dracula! Haha! I think not because of me!!! LOL

    @Nicoletta & Ekaterina

    I watched Aksel's training race today and I think he did a good job considering the circumstances! He seemed pretty fast, but we'll see how he'll feel tomorrow! I wish him to have a good result!
    But Sullivan's bad crash scared me!!! I was glad to see him leaving the slopes on his feet!

    Have a nice evening and a restful night, girls! hugs!

  17. @Ekaterina
    I know you're sleeping right now but I have to tell you I'm thinking of you bc I'm watching a beautiful show with Angela Gheorghiu!!! She talks about her life since she was a kid, about her family and about her beginning in classical music! She looks beautiful!
    Right now she's talking about the moment when she was a student in Bucharest, her parents were visiting her and they found out that her sister died! I knew she takes care of her niece, but I didn't know why!
    She was invited bc she won this year the title of Female Artist of the Year at the Classical BRIT Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

    Wish you dreams as beautiful as Angela's voice!:))) Hugs!

  18. @dana.
    How are you ? dana ? I spent a couple of busy days, but had a fun. Tomorrow I'll do lots of household things, then I'll be able to be lazy one day in 2010 and another one day in 2011 ! I'm fine now, and hope it'll continue. ... My dear dana, I've heard about migraine and I imagine how uncomfortable it is, though I've never had it. There seems many methods to get rid of stress. Doing some sports outdoors is one of these and it sounds nice that your sledge set you free from stress in winter ! I don't have my sledge, bc there is no opportunity to ride on it in Tokyo. But I think I love it !

    Angela Gheorghiu is really worldwide famouse and there are many her fans here. She is beautiful and talented. Angela was to visit to Tokyo last September, but cancelled it because of the disease of her child. I don't know what disease it was, but according to the press release, her child between she and Roberto Alagna took an operation first in London, and then in Bucharest, and she wanted to stay with her child until he or she became a stable condition. Did she talk anything about it on TV ?

    Hope you have a restful and peaceful evening, my dear dana ! Hugs !

    @Nicoletta.
    Thanks for the links on Bormio ! It is so interesting, my dear Nicoletta !

    btw, I didn't know Janka had suffered from the virus infection. He is one of the excellent racers, so I miss him in the race !

    And today's DH. What happened to Kroell and Scheider ? ... The course in Bormio looks dumpy and I hope Aksel's injury will not be worsend anyhow.

    Hope you enjoy a nice year-end ! Nicolettchen !
    I'm sleepy now, so see you tomorrow. Good night & hugs !

    I'm glad you had fun though you were busy these days, that means you are fine and that makes me really happy, my dear Ekaterina!
    I'm fine, thanks! But I have a lot of household things to do too!:)) I'll work even on 31st, so I can't afford to be as lazy as you. Haha! Fortunately I have days off on 1st and 2nd of January.

    Migraines are terrible, you're happy that you don't know what this means! Sometimes they last a whole day and feel better just after a good and deep sleep. What is curious to me is that when I wake up (sometimes in the middle of the night)I'm hungry like a wolf! Haha!

    Angela has not her own children, she is mom for her niece and for her husband's daughter from his first marriage. But the both girls treat her and love her like their natural mom, they are a happy family! I didn't know that her brother-in-law died too, four years after Angela's sister. Then she adopted her niece Ioana (20 years old). Roberto's daughter is 17 and her name is Ornella.
    But I don't know anything about the illness of one of her daughters...

    That show with and about her was a real delight, she's so nice and open and natural! She talked about anything they asked her! And of course, she sang!

    Good night and sweet dreams, my dear Ekaterina! Take care of you! Hugs

    Kroell had a bad crash. He did not fall so elegant like Aksel in Val Gardena, he unfortunately felt on his belly. Autsch!!!

    Scheiber was nearly so fast like Walchhofer, made a mistake, and the consequence was he missed a gate.

    Here I found some interesting words about the race of today:

    http://www.wienerzeitung.at/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabID=3845&Alias=sport&cob=534033

    Cuche was also very fast at the beginning and made a big mistake, so he was not so happy with his 21st place.

    Aksel mad only a small mistake, but unfortunatly he lost to much time. He was not satisfied about his run. Despite of his rip he would be able for more, I am sure. Our commentator said he is not in his bestform yet, because of his injurence. So wait and see, what the next races bring to Aksel.

    Other info about the race:

    Have sweet dreams, Ektaterina!

  21. Is ALS untouchable ? .....
    I wondered if I posted some comment on ALS or not, and I did. bc there has been no comments for hours and I had a time to do so.

    @dana.
    I know you're very busy right now, and do hope no migraines come to you, my dear dana !
    btw, what do you eat usually when you find you're hungry waking up at midnight ?
    I seldom wake up during a sleep and oversleep without the alarm clocks which are set at 06:40. Since my baby sister joined my family, I set my alarm clocks at this hour. dana, do you notice I wrote clocks, not clock ..... I use 2 alarm clocks now, but often oversleep....
    For the first 1&half year, my baby sister slept with me, and my father often came to my sleeping room to wake up his two sleepy daughters.

    Thank you for very close information about Angela. She is a person who really loves people and a family person, I see. I think many successful artists love family and family life. The athletes, too, I think. But I sometimes feel interesting to know there are also people who wants to be isolated from family, but naturally many of them are not sucessful.

    Have a good sleep tonight & tomorrow's night so that you'll be able to meet the new year in your best health, my dear dana ! Kisses & Hugs !

    @Nicoletta.
    Thank you so much for the report on the race, and for the links ! They are all very interesting ! my dear Nicoletta !

    Following FIS site,DNF indication always makes me worry, bc I don't watch the actual race, and DNF often means crash.

    Nicolettchen,btw, do you think Aksel entries for the race in City Event ? and do you know what discipline ? I hope he'll recover soon !

    Have a beautiful couple of days in the end of the year 2010, my dear Nicoletta ! Kisses & Hugs ! I go to bed after I post some comment to Giffy. Good night !

    Very nice to hear from you, dear Giffy !
    and, Congrats to your great son !

    btw, in Japan, the entrance to school is only in April, and the graduation from school is only in March. It's not as flexible as in the States.

    Hope you enjoy the year-end with your family & close friends, Giffy ! Hugs !

  23. Hi Girls

    @Dana
    Sorry to hear about your migraine attacks. Hope you could enjoy your Christmas holidays without headache.

    @Ekaterina
    While reading the story about your accident on Aksel's site once more, I thought you had a lot of luck to recover so quickly. Thank god.

    I presume Aksel is travelling with Julia towards the States. It is quite likely that he meets Julia's family for the 31st December to celebrate the new year.

    I do not know if you are interested to read Hans Olssons new blog entry. I think he writes some interesting thoughts about racing.

    http://www.hans-olsson.com/blog/

    The title is: Mr Amazed and
    Mr Terrified

    Have a pleasant evening and/or sweet dreams!

  24. @Ekaterina
    You're right, I'm very busy but I feel good, thanks!
    You asked me what I eat when I woke up after my migraine. Well, usually I need salty stuff, like cheese, olives, salty fish etc. but also chocolate!!!! LOL I know is weird! And if I feel that the migraine "is coming" and I'm home or in a place where I may drink a strong coffee I can avoid it. I think is related to the blood pressure!

    So you use two clocks to wake you up! LOL I usually wake up at 6:30 to take my thyroid pills, but I don't use a clock for this, I wake up before that hour almost every day, I think my brain is set to do so! Haha! Even if I go to bed later than usual I can't sleep more! And if I lose a night I sleep over the day just 2-3 hours though I'm sleepy and I go to bed about 10-11 pm as usual. So I am!:))

    I think successful artists and sportsmen find the peace, the power and the support they need in their families! They usually are far away from home and that is the place where they can recharge the batteries, where they can relax!
    You know: Home, sweet home!:))

    Wish you a restful night, dear Ekaterina! Just one day left till 2011!! Hugs!

    @Nicoletta
    Thanks for your concern! It's true, sometimes I have horrible migraines but now I feel fine! I was talking about migraines generally and about the fact that the stress can cause migraine.

    I don't think Aksel is traveling with Julia towards the States, if I'm not wrong they both have races in Germany on 2nd of January! I'm not sure.

    Thank you so much for Mr.Amazed ans Mr, Terrified! So cool! Really funny! Haha! It's a pleasure to read Hans' blog!

    Hope you feel good now, my dear Nicoletta!
    Sleep well and have nice dreams! Hugs!
