SNOW!!!!!!!!!
So jealous of the snow that Europe is getting! :-( I have to wait a whole month until I get snow! I don't think I can make it.
@AM I loved the vid your friend made of where you live, the mountains and scenery are truly majestic! I can't imagine having such beauty to look at all the time :D Thanks for sharing the link.
@corinna I can't wait to see your pics from the race and of ALS...I am still sooo excited for you that you were that close to him (and didn't poke him) haha!!
@Giffy I love the Amazing Race and about freaked when I saw they were in Narvik!!! I thought some things looked familiar too! ;D @Waxergirlkc (Suzanne from Kansas) and I were tweeting about it last night and ALS re-tweeted Suzanne's tweet! She was soooo excited today! :D

@Mel There is no snow here in Tokyo naturally now, but it snowed in our up north for the first time in the season today. Actually it snowed earlier than usual, so Aksel is right about the snowy winter.

@Nicoletta Thanks ! Nicoletta ! " Aida " video is just great. yes, " the Rhine " - " the Nile ", and the Les Trois Rois is so beauutiful & elegant. The inside story is always interesting although I didn't understand all the contents, I find it very interesting. As for " Traviata " I cannot see it right now, I don't know why. But I could see only some part of it, and I can guess. It was produced in your city by your opera in 2008, wasn't it ? and I wondered why I didn't know it. Because I went to their performance tour in Tokyo last year, but I was wrong, it was in 2007. I've been terribly busy for the past 5 years and time seems to past so quickly, and I misunderstood I went to the performance last year, but 3 years ago ..... The Hauptbahnhof is a really good idea if it is nice, and your station is honestly art. Were you there on the day of the performance ? Nicoletta ? Again, again, thank you so much for the link ! @Giffy I watched it on Universal Sports. It doesn't run live but they usually show all the top skiers runs. You can go to universalsports.com scroll down to the middle and type in your zip code and cable provider and it will show if you have the channel. They also offer online streaming buy you have to pay like 30 bucks for that.
My cruise leaves from New York and ports in Orlando, Nassau, and their own private island. I get a kick out of this but the line is Norwegian!!! I am hoping for at least one real viking on the ship :)
I love Daytona! My family went there every year until I graduated high school. My dad is a big Nascar fan so we would go down for speedweeks. Have great time!!

Today is such a weird day for weather. We are under a tornado watch, high wind warning & now it's monsoon raining. Only in Ohio in October can this happen!
@Nicoletta How is your cold, Nicoletta ? I hope you feel better. In Japan, the protective inoculation against influenza has been ready to be taken. It is getiing drier and drier here and the virus of influenza like the drynes. So we are recommended to take it. The peak of influenza here is from Dec to Feb. The situation in Switzerland might be different from ours, but anyhow please take care of your health, Nicoletta !
How sweet to find a message from you. Yes, I can say I feel much better now. I have still my little cough from time to time, and I am sometimes sneezing a bit, but I do not anymore feel so much sick. Wonderful!!

I am more the "natural" medicine loving woman and I think, it is better to drink a small glass of red wine in the evening, because it is very much desinfecting, they say.
Because of loosing weight, I stopped that, now I have started again and I like it and I feel again much better. LOL!
My fault was that I several times thought I could ignore my illness and after all I have get "a heavy bill".
Wish you a good Friday, I am happy to be at home now and will have a lazy evening.
