Ribs
Kjetil looks like he's about to stab Aksel! I guess the boy likes his food. Only a few more days until the season starts!!! So very excited!!!
@AM I didn't think they looked very good either, not enough sauce, but I liked the garnishes.
@Ekaterina I said one beer is permitted because that's what Aksel says in one of his video's where he's driving in a car with Kjetil. It was a little joke.
@Nicolette I like your idea to Mel about the thermal baths.
@Mel You're YMCA might have a therapy pool? That would feel so good.
@Mel I hope you'll be better with no surgery! Do you still have pains? I dream at the day when instead of pills I'll eat some cookies and I'll feel fine! LOL
So, how is everyone today???? Just popping in and catching up a bit. WTF is up with the Anon Attack on Mel's Blog? IMO anyone who posts Anon isn't worth reading or responding too, so I would just ignore it, the same as I do on SkiBoy's Blog.
I pop into SkiBoy's Blog just to see whats happening, but don't read any of the comments or leave any, cuz it's not fun anymore. Can't wait til the season starts ... Jiiiihaaaa!
@Corinna Yes, you should poke SkiBoy for all of us! And share our Good Karma with all of the Vikings!!! Very jealous you get to be at the first race! You Go Girl!!!!
@Mel Sorry your not getting any better. Have you thought about seeing a Naturopathic or Chinese Medicine Practitioner for another medical opinion to see if they can help you?
The boys look very happy and goofy in this pic! But, I'm not a big ribs fan, so the Vikings can have my share. Looks like everyone was having fun and LV had a great birthday.
I am counting down the days til the season starts ... and waiting for Movember(HeHe)! Doesn't look like ALS or Kjetil are getting a HEAD start on their Movember 'staches ... I hope Lars is, cuz I know the Canadian SkiBoys have their mustaches growing wild! :D
Hopefully life will start slowing down, so I can jump in and join the fun more often.
How are you doing? :) Hope you had a good start into the week? :)
Sorry I'm not on here too often anymore, but university was just so stressful the last couple weeks. :( And my weekends weren't any better. But well that was my own doing! :D haha (too many parties ;P)
So what did I miss on here? haven't read through all the comments, there where just too many! hehe :P But of course I've seen the drama on ALS blog, omg they'll never learn. :( It's just sad... But well let's hope it will be better as soon as it's saturday! :D
@Deuce omg yea!!! Movember! haha Now I'm looking forward to November even more! :D haha I have to admit, sometimes men with a moustache do look sexy, especially when they're canadians!!! ;D but just certain ones, not all! ;D hehe
@Giffy They might have one. Though I don't know how well I would do in a public pool. I'm a bit of a germaphobe. LOL
@Dana Yup I'm still in pain. I finally got them to give me some pain killers. I had a MRI & I guess the inflammation is really bad & deep in my shouldar. :-( Cookies instead of pills would be so nice.
@Corinna I have tendonitis, bursitis & something else. I can't remember what the third one was. I was so nervous about having to get surgery.
@Nicoletta They don't really turn the air-conditioning on. It's usually really hot in the store. I'll try a warm soak in the tub. Thanks for the link. I keep forgetting to check Lars' blog. I can't remember if I said it, but welcome to the blog.
@Mel hei girl! I'm really sorry to read you may need surgery and that you're still in pain. :( That sucks! I hope you'll get well asap! I'll be sending some good thoughts your way and be hoping it will help somehow. :) How is everything else so far? :)
University is awesome! I do love it and the classes are mostly great! :D It's just a lot to do, but I guess that's normal. And I'm starting to enjoy living on my own. :D And I get to see a really good friend of mine more often now, bc we're now living in the same city for once! :D So all in all it's great, except the fact that I don't have as much time to be on here as before. :)
I must say that I found some time to scroll through the last entry, and I was really disappointed to see a certain comment! :/ *sigh* Why must things be taken so personally? We may all have our own opinions? Some of us tended to have similar opinions that were not supported elsewhere...so Mel created an amazing blog. I don't understand why it is still an issue. :/ That's all I have to say, and hopefully, all I ever will say about the matter.
@corinna Thanks very much for the link, corinna ! However my pc would not advance. I've been thinking about it for weeks and I think I had better ask some technical service person to clear all these things. Possibly and hopefully in November, because the schedule does not meet this month. But,thanks again, corinna !
@Giffy Mine was also a joke as yours, Giffy ! and I'm sorry my poor English might make you misunderstand a liitle about it. ...;-))) In ALS blog (video) " ALTA BADIA - ..... ", Aksel talked one beer was much, becuase it was to be on air. But I thought maybe " two " was OK for him, tnen. So I posted the comment like this to yours, Giffy. I admit I'm not goot at joking.
@Mel I hope you've seen the best doctor, but there is always the second opinion. Especially the things related the surgery. As for the pain, do you put the Loxonin tape or something like that on your shoulder ? MRI may indicate the correct information, but the physiotherapy may also help you much. I do hope you find the best. Wishing you a good recovery even if it takes a little bit longer, Mel !
Yes Mel, I would even say, you are much to young for surgery!
That's good if air-condition is not to cold. Maybe, as you work as cashier, it is the daily movements?
Glad to see, you think bathing in the tube is OK for you. So you could eventually take in the evening a Hayflower or Sulfur bath (from the drogstore).
You know, I am very much interested in health questions and because my partner has also to do with rheumatism, I know about the problems.
@Corinna and Mel Yes, I would definitely try out physiotheraphie first. The physiotherapist do a great job and they know a lot about the body. Hope your doctor is supporting you, if you ask for physio first.
Regarding nouriture: No joke Mel, be careful with eating a lot of meat, and swine meat is the worst. That makes your body sour. Try to eat more chicken, much better.
Please try to eat more vegetable, salads and fruits. I sincerely hope, you love this kind of nouriture, because this food helps against to much acidity in your body and that means at the end, less pain.
@All Sorry, my English not very good. Hope you can follow me.
@Ekaterina and Nicoletta Don't worry! Your English is great! I don't have another languange, so I'm impressed your English is so good. I wish I could speak another language!
@Corinna yes poke him!
@All It seems like ALS is nervous for the start of the season in the few articles that were posted on his website due to lack of good snow for training, and his respiration and illness last Dec. Maybe every year starts off like that...I'm sure he'll overcome his worry.
@Giffy Thank you for your kind words, Giffy ! But I like to try to improve myself in it, if possible.
@AM Yes, I think it is normal to feel nervous just before the start of the season. It is the first gate which the individual athletes and performers have to open. But it looks ALS still keeps 100 kg weight. ...;-)))
@All NBC's program won the award, then NHK's program " Miracle Body " won the award, too ! I think the good news around ALS creates a pleasant atmosphere, and I'm sure he likes it !
@ Giffy I'm sure if Aksel takes a little care of himself he will stay healthy during the sason!! What this guy needs to learn is to listen to his body signals and don't push himself race after race when he's feeling sick! If he's sick it's better to drop one race then getting really sick and lose 3 races!! But being nervous is pretty normal before it all kicks off I guess. On the other hand he didn't get all the training and testing equipment on snow the way he whished I suppose. And that is more than enough to stress him. But I'm sure he will do great on sunday!! At 1000 I will be more than ready to follow him - and Kjetil in the slopes! LOL
@ Nicolette There is no reason that you should stop posting the songs!! The songs are beautiful and if ppl is not in the ''song mood'' they can just ignore the links!! I'm very much into music and I love all kind of it, so I think it's great that we get different kinda music links!!
@Nicoletta Steve is now with Andy. Not so many Japanese knew Andy and I was one of them, but we all prayed for Andy and wished his recovery from APL, but in vain. Did you know Steve gave Andy Hug his song " Fight for you life " ?
Have a nice evening & night, Nicoletta. I'm goint to bed.
@Giffy Perfect! Im glad it was not only Heavy Metal, maybe not good for your stomach. LOL
@Ekaterina Didn't you visit Schloss Neuschwanstein during your Summer holidays?
Oh yes, I remember Andy Hug. That was the perfect drama.
He died after a fight, they said it was kind of acute Leukämia. He was a famous Swiss kickboxer who lived and died in 2000 in Tokyo/Japan.
Regarding the 10 years anniversary? of his death I saw a documentation about him.
The Japanese people loved him very much and called him the Blue-eyed Samurai and bring still flowers to his grave. So nice!
@AM & Giffy Yes, I am quite sure, all the racers are exited and a bit nervous because of the season start. Must say, I am getting already nervous while thinking of the races next Saturday. WOW what a feeling!
@am i´m fine! here it is raining and today we had only 3,5 °C it is so cold an the top of the mountains are white now!are btw i can´t see this video
http://www.nrksport.no/alpint/1.7341561
is there any opportunity to see it outside of norway, bc there stands always your not allowed to see it when you not live in norway! or maybe can you download it and send it to me per mail?
@am have you no extra button on the top of it! i could download it, but i can´t see it! there is in the top of where you put the www. in there is normally a button with extras!
@Corinna I know who's the sinner! She has a bad influence on you! But it's OK! The wheel is spinning, tomorrow will be my turn! All that I need is patience! Haha!
@corinna The pic #1 ? I was wondering about it, too !
must be busy packing tor Solden, corinna. Hope you have a great fun, and a safe drive !
@Nicoletta The pic #12. The Schloss Neuschwanstein.
Yes, I visited the 4 castles related to the King Ludwig II last year.
In Switzerland , I once visited Luzern and the Jungfrau ( by train, off course ! ).
Nicoletta, due to the timezone, I post the comment a bit later like that. During the summer time , the time difference between Europe and Japan is 7-hour, and soon it will be 8-hour until the next summer time.
@ All Hoping you will have a great day!! Up north we have what we call WINTER, There's a lot of snow! Too bad we can't upload pics in her bc then I would post some for you to see!! It's so beautiful!! See you all later! ''hugs and kisses''
Corinna: I am from Switzerland, living in Zurich. That I do not forget, I wish you a wonderfull weekend in Soelden. Hopefully you take some pics!!
@Ekaterina
Yes, I know about the time zones, so don't worry I find all your comments.
BTW that one regarding Japanese has about 10 manners to speak was incredible. I just learnt, that Asian Male and Femiale speak in total different ways.
BTW have you seen the film Gran Torino directed by Clint Eastwood? This boy, raised up in the middle of only women had to learn to speak like a real man. LOL
@Nicoletta I think you know much about it, Nicoletta. I'm not sure the other Asian people do the same as we do, but we Japanese male and female speak in totally different ways. First of all, we have at least 5 words which all mean " I " ( Ich ). And among those 5, 3 of them for male use, 2 of them for female use, and 1 of the female use is also male use. And it is not at all the discrimination and it is accepted naturally in my country. btw Aksel was speaking nice " Japanese " in MB.
I haven't seen Gran Torino. But it seems very interesting !
Is it already cold in Zurich ? The Zurich Opera made a tour to Japan last year and I went to their performance in Tokyo.
@Corinna Hi baby! Have a great time in Solden! Take care of you and have a lot of fun!!! I promise to scream very loud! Hope Aksel will hear me too!LOL And don't forget: I'm waiting a mail with many, many pics!! Haha!
@all I love the color blue so the new helmet is nice but, I really liked the old helmet with the cool Viking on it! It will be interesting to see what color the Attacking Viking ski suits and jackets are this year? Not that it matters as long as he finishes safely and at the top of the tree...
@Corinna I think I missed you! Safe travels and have fun! Be careful on the ice!
@Dana I bet I will be able to hear you scream over here! Enjoy!
@Nicoletta I just remembered I was eating Swiss Cheese on Pumpernickel! :)
@ Gifford I haven't seen you on here before, so welcome to you!!! I agree, I think his old helmet looked much cooler but the important thing anyway is that he has some protection on his HEAD!! ;D
@ corinna Have a splended time in Solden!! Don't forget what we agreed on!! LOL
@Giffy Be sure you'll win the bet! I'm ready to scream as loud as I can! And, believe me, I CAN!!! LOL I like so much Aksel's pic, he seems so happy! And I'm sure he took this pic for me: smiling and showing us his hands! WARNING! Mind in the gutter! LMAO
so already my skies and poles are in my car, and the best friend of my brother checked the car so everything is fine and it is always good when you can pay your service men with a special thing and not with money!
http://www.shandiz.de/Photos/maxlrainer.jpg
haha not with that you thought now, with a box of this beer
@ Mel I think we needed a newentry!! LOL There is one thing me and Aksel dosen't have in common - RIBS! I hate it!! LOL
ReplyDelete@AM I didn't think they looked very good either, not enough sauce, but I liked the garnishes.
ReplyDelete@Ekaterina I said one beer is permitted because that's what Aksel says in one of his video's where he's driving in a car with Kjetil. It was a little joke.

@Ekaterina Thank you.
@Deuce I don't know if they would take workers comp. Or if workers comp would approve a visit to a Naturopathic or Chinese Medicine Practitioner.
ReplyDelete@Anja How is school besides stressful?
@Mel hei girl! I'm really sorry to read you may need surgery and that you're still in pain. :( That sucks! I hope you'll get well asap! I'll be sending some good thoughts your way and be hoping it will help somehow. :)

ReplyDeleteThe pic #1 ? I was wondering about it, too !
must be busy packing tor Solden, corinna.
Hope you have a great fun, and a safe drive !
@Nicoletta
The pic #12.
Hope you have a nice day, Nicoletta !
@ All Hoping you will have a great day!! Up north we have what we call WINTER, There's a lot of snow! Too bad we can't upload pics in her bc then I would post some for you to see!! It's so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteSee you all later! ''hugs and kisses''
@Corinna
ReplyDeleteCorinna: I am from Switzerland, living in Zurich. That I do not forget, I wish you a wonderfull weekend in Soelden. Hopefully you take some pics!!
@Ekaterina
LOL
@All
Have a nice day/evening!
@Nicoletta
ReplyDeleteI think you know much about it, Nicoletta.
Have a pleasant day, Nicoletta !
girls i say no goodbye for the weekend i see you maybe on sunday evening and at least on monday evening!
ReplyDeletei wish you all a great weekend and lot of fun

Love you!
@all I love the color blue so the new helmet is nice but, I really liked the old helmet with the cool Viking on it! It will be interesting to see what color the Attacking Viking ski suits and jackets are this year? Not that it matters as long as he finishes safely and at the top of the tree...
ReplyDelete@Corinna I think I missed you!
I agree, I think his old helmet looked much cooler but the important thing anyway is that he has some protection on his HEAD!! ;D
ReplyDelete@ corinna Have a splended time in Solden!! Don't forget what we agreed on!! LOL
@Giffy Be sure you'll win the bet! I'm ready to scream as loud as I can! And, believe me, I CAN!!! LOL
