Batman & Robin

Aksel: I am Batman & this is my sidekick Robin.
Kjetil: What? Why do I have to be Robin?
Aksel: Because I make this look good.
Kjetil: *raises eyebrow*
Aksel: Fine because I'm older so I'm Batman!
Kjetil: Well fine, but I'm not Robin! I'm Spider-Man!

Great, Mel ! Thanks for the pic !
Every time I look at Aksel's arm, I think he's a slugger who makes pitchers frighten.

    @all ladies.
... well, it's +19C in Tokyo today. ... The weather forecast says it'll be cooler tomorrow with the temps of +14C. ... yes, it's cool tomorrow. ... !!!!!
Hope you all keep warm by exercise, with blanket, and of course with some drink !

    Have a beautiful weekend ! Hugs !

    @dana.
I think the babies will be born on Sunday next week, though I'm not sure how many they'll be.

    @Giffy.
Ken is our name for the male person, too ! Every Japanese has at least one friend called Ken. There are also several male names start with Ken, like Kenta, Kenichi, and all of them with the number like, 1,2,3, ... For example, Kenichi means Ken1. Of course we have the single use of Ken. As you see, all Chinese character has its own meaning, and Ken has nice meanings.

Super! I like you sense of humour!:))
Kjetil has to be pleased he's Robin! You could compare them with Don Quixote and Sancho Panza! Haha!

    @Ekaterina
Oh, now I realize your cabbages will have a lot of babies! I wonder how many names you have to find for all of them! :))
    Ken, Kenta, Kenichi....

I like this:"every Japanese has at least one friend called Ken"!! lol

Here is cold and it's snowing! It snowed all the night!

    @Nicole
Hello my dear Young'un! How are you?
Can't believe you're awake at that hour, it's midnight there! LOL

At last it was +20.8C in Tokyo today. However the temps was going down from late evening to the normal temps.

btw, dana, I suppose you're also fond of the ski jump. We have a 14-year-old female ( girl ) ski jumper. Her name is Sara Takanashi. I hope someday you'll find her name in the top 10. She is now working in the Normal Hill in Oslo.

    ReplyDelete
  5. @Ekaterina
You already have spring in Tokyo! Here is winter, a cold winter with a lot of snow! Though there are just a few days till 1st of March when we celebrate the first day of spring!:))

Yes, I like ski jumping too! I'm watching female jumpers right now and I watched earlier the guys! Daiki Ito had a great jump! He's on the first place in qualification with 102,5m!! LOL Noriaki is on a good place too!
I don't know if I'll watch the girls till the end bc I have some housework to do, but I hope to see Sara! Thanks for telling me!

Have a pleasant spring evening, my dear Ekaterina! Meow to your little sister from me! lol

  6. @Ekaterina
I just saw Sara!!! She jumped 92m and she's on the fifth place so far! Our commentator spoke very nice about her, she's a very good athlete! It's the first time when I can watch girls' competition so I don't know too many things about them, as I know about the guys!

  7. @Mel HaHa! Very funny! Great post! Those suits are hilarious. Look how long ALS hair is and curly. Kjetil's is just a mess, it says, "Let's party!"

@Ekaterina Good luck with the cabbage babies this weekend. Thank you and I'm glad my son's name has nice meanings. I'll have to try Kenichi on him. He would be a good friend. I knew Ken was a popular name in Japan, my favorite Honda guy was Ken Kakuda.

@Dana I just re-read MG's comments. No, my son is not like that at all. He could care less what he wears, but he does like to be warm. LOL! The other one however, will only wear Puma or something expensive. He had me running all around buying deep v tshirts which are supposed to be "the thing" for spring...LOL!

@Nicole Miss you! Come back! When is your spring break?

You guys: Get ALS to post another physio session with Trond. We need an update to Olympic Preparation. He listens to you!

    ReplyDelete
  8. @AM, Corinna, Dana So nice to see you guys chat together and have a party yesterday. I was worried about AM & Corinna. Good to see you back on the blog. I think you all should go see ALS in Narvik, and have dinner at AM's house.

    ReplyDelete
  9. @ Giffy The BIG guy is going to Narvik? I haven't heard anything about that so I guess I'm bad at updates!! LOL If it's the norwegian cahampionship you are talking about it's not in Narvik this year but at Trysil if I'm not wrong...!

    ReplyDelete
  10. @Giffy
I love the way Aksel pronounces "this is the Olympic preparation"!!!! Haha!
In the last time he doesn't listen to us, you know we ask him a pic of his smile for so long and he seems to not hear our requests! He's playing tough! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  11. @ Giffy We ask Aksel?? Once upon a time there was a guy who who couls answer questions from time to time even fullfill some requests!! Those times are over long ago!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  12. @ dana He hears and he reads but he just dosen't bother!! There are more important things going on in his life! LOL Maybe he's planning a wedding? In norwgian media you could read this week that his girlfriend told the german media they have talked about a wedding but that's all there is to it. Haha

    ReplyDelete
  13. @giffy i try to come more often and tomorrow i have a surprise for you all! haha

    ReplyDelete

  20. Ladies, Hello! I love the new post on ALS. Taco picture with Simen. Simen looks great with long hair, no glasses, everybody has thumbs up! Simen looks more like their Dad I think...

@AM Sorry, you're right Trysil, wishful thinking on my part. I have missed you! Is there some new Norwegian trend for men to wear their hair longer? Evbody's hair is out of control!

@Dana haha! I think that might be the first time I heard his voice, "this is Olympic preparation." That was a great video! :)

@Corinna Can't wait. I will check in tomorrow! I'm glad you're busy you should be. This spring I hope you find a new man! :)

I hope all you single ladies find new men and have a honeymoon like the cabbages. Love all around!

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Giffy
haha! But cabbages' honeymoon is SOUR!!!!!

I miss THAT smile of Aksel, like that one from Olympic preparation! He was a happy guy in those days! He's changed so much!

    ReplyDelete
  27. @giffy he like me still but he doesn´t want that to tell, that´s why he call me when he is drunken!

i don´t know her either but i also don´t like her, bc i know from some friends that she tell them that i call him in the middle of the night bc i still love him, i said to my friends you really belive this? they said no, we know you. and we know that you have no feelings anymore for him she is just crazy and envy you!bc he has just feelings for you!

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Giffy & AM
I've noticed many Norwegian athletes have long hair! Starting with that cute Tom Hilde!!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  29. @AM I guess, they're looking forward to spring! Hope you have a great family dinner this weekend. Is it some special occasion?

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ Corinna One day we'll all meet and that will be one great day!! LOL

    ''DEEP IN THE GUTTER'' LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  39. btw @am does fysio was always called the same or had you ever a other name for it?

we had first since 1994 the physiotherapy, before that time it was called here in germany "krankengymnastik" and the short form was "KG" and the patient often said "kalt und grausam" which measn " cold and cruel" but just for fun!

  40. @Giffy
Do you wanna say we're goodies?? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  41. @ Corinna God knows! LOL I think we've uset the word ''fysio'' or ''fysikalsk behandling'' that means physically treatment I guess! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Dana If "goodies" means hotties then yes! :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. @giffy her you need 3 years, i be a physiotherapist/manuell therapist/sportphysiotherapist/lymphdrainagetherapist
you can do here two kinds of sportphyisotherapist, the little one (i have) which is going by one weekend and you can work for little teams or the big one which you need for being a sportpyhsiotherapist and able to work during the olympic games!(just for the olympics you need the big one for everything else the little one is enough)

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Corinna That's wonderful, I bet you're good at it! Do you think you'd like to work at the Olympics?

Congrats, corinna ! Your " baby " could not wait for mom's kiss for another more weeks, and came to you suddenly !

Thanks for the link, however my pc cannot show the link to my regret ..... I often worry about these and try to call the service center of my pc, but the line is busy, but I think I continue to try it.

I feel the same, corinna. Whenever I sell something to buy new one, I become to feel sad, and cry.

Where do you think you drive the long distance with your new " baby " ? dear corinna ?

    Have a GREAT Sunday ! Hugs !

    ReplyDelete
  101. @dana.
..... Martisor comes in very soon ! .....

Thanks for noticing Sara. Actually we have some ski jumpers. There is the ski jump training club for kids in Japan, so they can start training from early ages. To the contrary, there is no such a club of the alpine ski in Japan. So there are only a few racers running in the World Cup. Only 2 male racers, I think, and they run only in the SL. One of them finished the 6th place in WM in Garmisch. It's the best so far. He also suffered from the knee injury for years. Other racers, too. For example, one of them finished the 4th in SL in the Olympics in Torino, but he suffered again from the knee injury after the Olympics, and almost no career now. But I'm happy about Aksel, bc he doesn't hurt it so badly and he also knows how to prevent it.

Have an exciting Sunday, 2 days before Martisor, ny dear dana ! Hugs !

    ReplyDelete
  102. @ekaterina what do you mean with this?
"Where do you think you drive the long distance with your new " baby " ? dear corinna ?"

i be so excited about it!

@am haha so you was also shopping today? that is great!

@dana so you checked it out!

    ReplyDelete
  103. my old one is already sold! my brother put it yesterday at 6:30pm on ebay online and today at 11:36am it was sold! i was a bit curious about to sell the car over ebay, but we got more money for it, as we would sell it normally!

    ReplyDelete
  104. @Ekaterina
Yes, just two days left till 1st of March, the day when we celebrate the first day of spring or Martisor! (even if here is a beautiful white winter!!)
I don't know if you know what Martisor means so you can check these links:

    http://www.pli-europe.es/Rumania/March_1st__Martisor.html

    http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/2824/

It's true, when I was in the general school me and my class mates used to pin all the amulets we've been receiving on our uniform!! We were so proud to pin as much as possible! lol
My mom was a teacher and in every 1st of March she came back home with so many amulets and a lot of flowers! Especially bc on 1st of March was her birthday!

Ekaterina, I noticed at ski jumping two girls with very familiar names for me: Ito and Kasai. Are they relatives of Daiki and Noriaki?

Just like you, we don't have many winter sports athletes. I was very surprised yesterday to see a Romanian ski jumper, Remus Tudor, a very young one, only 17 y. o.This is our first presence at a WC! Poor guy didn't even qualify, but it's a start! :))

What's new about the sour honeymoon? lol

Wish you and your little sister a pleasant weekend! Love, hugs & kisses!

    ReplyDelete
  105. @corinna.
"Where do you think you drive the long distance with your new baby ? " is that :
*I suppose you drive to work and you also drive to anywhere in your holidays.
*Generally speaking, you sometimes drive far ( a long distance ) in your holidays, bc you have enough time to do so.

So, I write in another way to ask you, dear corinna.
" When is your next holidays ? "
    and
" Where do you go on your next holidays ? "

    ReplyDelete
  106. @dana.
    Thanks for the link !
I think I learned it from you here last autumn. ... :-)))

So, your mom was born in the very special and beautiful day !

I'm not sure if they are sisters of Daiki and Noriaki. But I think the female jumpers are motivated by some members of her family to start training as a jumper.

btw, it seems I noticed Tudor Remus earlier than you ! bc when I checked the start list in the FIS site live, I found the same name as your son !

The honeymoom couple is well and fine.and they are not so sour. ...

going to my bed now. The high temps in this time of the year makes me very sleepy. and so is my baby sis ! but I surely told her your nice greetings while she was awake !

Hope you enjoy the final Sunday before lovely spring, dear dana !

Yes, I remember I told you all here about Martisor! :)) We also call 1st of March Mom's Day and when I was a kid I was very proud bc it really was my mom's Day! lol In Romanian we say "it's my day" when we talk about birthday.

It would been interesting if the girls would been Noriaki and Daiki relatives!

Give my greetings to your little Ekaterina and also to the happy couple from the container!:))) Hope they have a great time together!

I envy you for the warm weather in Tokyo, here is very cold!
Wish you good night, my dear Ekaterina! Sleep well and have nice dreams! See you tomorrow!
    Kisses and hugs!

  109. @Corinna Congratulations on your brand new car! I'm so very happy for you, know you will enjoy it. I hope you will always have safe travels in it. Hurrah! Very sporty like you! Remember I said it will probably be a man magnet. I bet you pick up a new man!

@Dana My dear Sis! What a great story about your Mom, her day, and the first day of spring. How wonderful that she was a teacher. What did she teach?

@Mel Whatever you do never mention "gun show" to European women. It does not translate well.

Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy!

Thanks! My mom was a general school teacher, from first to fourth grade. She sang and drew very well! And she liked to dance! I think I inherited my pleasure for dance from her, though she danced folklore!!! LOL

It's not our fault, "gun show" seems to have a different connotation for European women! When we think of "gun" we imagine something else! Haha!

Wish you a pleasant weekend too, dear Sis! Love you!

  112. Hello ladies! :D

Talk about an awesome weekend so far! My friends Diana, Rion and I had dinner last night at 7! Then we went back to their dorm room and watched a scary movie and a romance. Then we talked and talked and talked! And then we danced like crazy! And then we went outside and waited for the sun! Yes, my ladies, we stayed up til 7:30am! It was absolutely amazing! And then we slept until 2pm and then talked some more and I just got back to my own room and I feel so exhausted but awesome because this has been an amazing weekend! :D lol

@Giffy My Spring Break is only two weeks away! :D

@Nicole Glad you had such an awesome time this weekend and have found good friends. That's what it's all about. Well, that and studying!

@Dana Your mother sounds lovely. How nice that she was a teacher, and I would have loved to see her dance traditional folk dance. Did you ever do Romanian folk dance in costume?

@Corinna I had a great weekend thanks! I stayed in too. When you pointed out ALS Ikea bowl at the taco dinner I realized that I have the same dinner plates and bowls that they were using from Ikea.

It's supposed to rain today. I hope it washes away all the snow because I've had enough winter. I'm ready for spring. Hugs all around. Have a great week!
