    Sorry Ekaterina, yesterday I lost my text, and had no time to repeat it!

    Your appartment is amazing, you have a very good taste, Ekaterina.

    15 workers! Wow that is a large group! Would like to have a look there!

    My appartment has got 3 rather big rooms, the main part is out of wood also the bedroom, kitchen is out of middle grey tile, and the bathroom and the seperate toilett area is tile in light grey.

    We have a so called "Wohnküche", that means the Kitchen is quite big with a table and chairs to have our meals there, this is rather seldom in the usual appartments here.

    The 3rd room has also a carpet, and in front of my computer (my office) I needed also a piece of carpet, a very strong one, because I made nearly a whole with my chair into the parkett! HaHa

    In the leaving room we have a big colorful carpet under the sofas, I think it is much more cosy!

    Have a smooth "working day", Ekaterina!

    Happy Haloween day!

  5. @Nicoletta
    You live in the refined and comfortable apartment, Nicolettchen !
    The middle or light gray tiles give the light impression to the room itself, a piece of carpet gives the good accent to the rooms and also good for a " busy " chair. ... ;-)))

    Wohnkuche sounds nice !

    You have the separate toilet ? In Japan, I think all the toilet in the house is the separate one, too ! However in Europe and the US, I thought there are the bathtub with the shower, the toilet and the washstand in the bathroom.

    I didn't expect 15 workers today. My house is rather large compared to other standard houses in the central Tokyo, but I expected 5 or 6 workers at first. Now I understood why 15 workers were needed after seeing today's work.

    Every workers are in charge of different part of work. The rooms are not empty with various furnitures which are all heavy.
    So,
    1. move the furnitures to other room.
    2. take care of walls.
    3. take off the old carpet.
    4. take off something like thick felt under the old carpet.
    5. take off the wood floor under the thick felt.
    6. check the surface of the concrete and clean the area after that.

    7. those old ( used ) materials are taken out of the house and the new ones are brought in.
    8. new wood floor with many little nails to fix the thick felt.
    9. new thick felt. it is for the softer touching floor under the carpet. bc we take off the shoes, so we need the softer touching floor.
    10. and at last the new carpet.
    11. clean the area & take off the sheet to care the walls.
    12. finally the furnitures are back.

    I wasn't there all the time, but I checked the work very frequently. They finished my dad's bedroom and the corridors in the second floor and half of the stairs down to the first floor today. Dad's study, the rest of the stairs, corridors in the first floor are unfinished with the new felt, and will be finished tomorrow. And they work from 1. to 12. in the living room ( the largest room ) tomorrow.

    btw, very much looking forward to ALS new web !

    ReplyDelete
  6. The carpet work did not finish today as scheduled. I have to wait for another one day tomorrow. ...

    btw, I cannot connect with ALS blog. Home and others are OK, but when I click " blog ", it shows " error " and cannot see it.
    How about you, @All ladies ? Does anyone know how to do it ? Thanks in advance.

  7. @Ekaterina

    Sorry for the delay of the carpet workers!
    Tomorrow is another day, take it easy, dear Ekaterina!

    Regarding Aksel's blog, perhaps you succeed with:

    http://aksellundsvindal.com/blog/2011/10/31/welcome/

    or

    http://aksellundsvindal.com/blog/

    Wish you good luck, Ekaterina!

  8. @Nicoletta.
    Thanks, Nicolettchen ! I'm a bit disappointed that the carpet has not finished yet, but tomorrow surely !

    Then I tried the links you kindly advised me, but in vain. I can see the home, calendar and all except " blog ". It shows the sentense saying " an error occurred while processing the directive. "
    I'll call the remote support of my pc to fix it, however I'm busy this week, so maybe next week, bc the call line is always busy.
    Am I only who cannot connect ALS blog !? ha ha

  9. @Nicoletta
    I tried it again, and it goes well. Thank you !!! Nicolettchen !

  10. @ekaterina i also have no problems to see the blog!

    how do you all find his new website?

    i think it is brighter and friendlier then the old one, bc of the white colour! but i also miss the pic of the main page from him! but i think will all have just to get used to it

    ReplyDelete
  11. @Nicoletta
    @corinna

    It seems the independent web site from Norway. ... :-))) not Akjulia management.

    I also think I have to get used to the new one.

  12. @Giffy's mother
    @Tudor

    Happy Birthday !!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. @corinna.
    As for our last blog, I understand the floor heating. kachelofen system is good, I think.
    The house of my friend in Berlin is rather old, bc it's her grandparents' house. There is a big boiler in the Keller and the hot water runs in the pipes in the walls. It's comfortable, too.

    @Giffy.
    The original meaning of the X Day is the day which is not known " when " before it happenes and it is also the day when something special happens. But we often say the X Day as the day something special happens even if we all now when it is.

    @All ladies !
    Hope you all have the wonderful November !
    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

    ReplyDelete
  14. @ekaterina i like "kachelofen" so much! it is a better warming and not so try air like with radiators!

    btw happy birthday to tudor and giffys mom!

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Ekaterina

    You are blogging! Nice!

    @Corinna

    My sister has also a Kachelofen! Love it to sit on the bench there!

    @Giffy's mother
    @Tudor

    Happy Birthday!

    Love Aksel's new website! Especially the photo gallery is absolutely great!

    It looks like it is still Aksel's blog and he is continueing a very good job!

    Unfortunately they seem not to have enough snow at Levi. Very regretable because Aksel wanted to attend.

    ReplyDelete
  16. @nicoletta we also have a bench in front of the kachelofen, my dad let it make some years ago, bc my grandma always sit there with a chair and so my dad said no chair anymore there will get a bench!
    we have also something over the kachelofen to dry jackets and ski stuff on it! it is a "holzstange" and you can hand things on it!

    the less snow is really a pity! i really hope it will snow soon!

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh and @all did i tell you about the next 16 days and nights?

    i must be now for the next 16 days/nights always be more or less (except when i be at work) ready to go! lmao

    oh this is getting to be a real great! lol
    but i can first tell it when it is time for it!

    ReplyDelete
  18. WOW!!
    Thank you very much my friends! Tudor thanks you too and sends you his best regards! :)

    @Giffy
    Happy Birthday to you mom!!! So another "connection" between us, Sis! Haha!

    @All
    Do you like Aksel's new website? I do, though I think on the old one was way much easier to post our comments.
    As I told him there, I hope this new website will bring Aksel a lot of good luck in the new season!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thanks everyone for wishing my Mom Happy Birthday! She had a good one. My real baby Sis was with her and had a great time!

    @Mel It's a Halloween Pumpkin, not Moon!

    @Ekatreina Glad the work is going well at your house. Sounds lovely! Did you get a special surprise on XDay? What was it?

    @Nicoletta I do like the new website. It is fresh flirty and fun. Is the ski give away the secret?

    ReplyDelete
  20. @Nicoletta
    Exactly ! The new photo gallery is great, especially it's interesting to see several new pics in his childhood.

    @Giffy
    The X Day is about ALS new web. As you see, we talked if it is Ajulia or Akjulia or Aksulia.
    But it looks the independent one. ... ;-)))

    It's the lunch break for the workers.
    I hope they finish it today !

    ReplyDelete
  21. It took 3 days for the new carpet. I'm contented with the new ones, but I'm honestly tired after all. ..... But I'm happy to see my baby sis looks very happy with the new carpet !

    btw, the less snow in Scandinavia. Correctly speaking, the late snow, I suppose.
    In the ski resort of Japan, when there is almost no snow at the time of the ski season, the city asks the ground forces ( the Army ) to bring the vast amount of snow from some areas where there is snow, and also asks them to make the course. The city pays for it.
    I once watched it in the TV and felt it so funny, bc the army in uniform works for the ski tourism. ...;-))) and it's very peaceful operation !

    I'm going to bed. tired & sleepy.
    Have a nice day !
    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Ekaterina

    Congrats Ektaterina, your project "New Carpets" is successfully finished!!

    I presume if your baby sister is happy, you and your dad are it too!

    Regarding helping for slope preparation, the Swiss Armee makes always a great job in Wengen & Adelboden!

    Last year the men from the armee and Zivilschutz had a lot to do, day and night work.
    Without the help from the armee and the Zivilschutz the preparation of the slopes would be impossible. The Zivilschutz is also kind of armee, but they dont shot with wappons - in Switzerland we have two groups.

    I have got the impression, everybody is very keen to help for the preperation of the WC, because it is in deed very important and much different to their usual work.

    http://www.derbund.ch/bern/Adelboden-Organisatoren-zaehlen-auf-Soldaten/story/16596750

    In an article on Skionline, I read that one of the Swiss experts for slopes is actually in Levi, but he made not a good prediction.

  23. Anyway, the races have got cancelled!

    Nevertheless, wish you a great day!

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Nicoletta
    Thanks for your warm words, Nicolettchen !
    There are still some works to be done, this time, by me. As they had to move several furnitures, I had to take many fragile things from them not to be broken. So I'm going to put them back. But I love this kind of work. ... :-)))

    I'll think of Swiss Army and Zivilschuts during the WC in Wengen and Adelboden !

    sorry for the fans in Levi, btw.

    Now we switch it again !

    ReplyDelete
  25. I don't have any snow here. I still have a fuschia in bloom, and some petunias on my deck that haven't frozen. They might be protected or just like cold weather?

    @Corinna What do you have to be ready for? How is your new car?

    @Ekaterina So glad the workman have finished and you are happy with the results. I always like it when workman complete their job. It's nice you can move your fragile treasures around on your own time schedule.

    @Nicoletta Do you follow Leif's blog? I should check out what sort of snow they have in CO?

    Be right back!

    ReplyDelete
  26. @giffy my new car is perfect! it works well and none crazy sounds there!

    haha i have to be ready for a little tiny thing! and it can happen every day! but i don´t want to say to much! you will hear me when it is time about!lmao

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Giffy
    Your Fuschia and petunias still in bloom in MI while one of my hydrangea ( dance party ) is in bloom in Tokyo. It's first time for me to look thing like this in November.

    @corinna
    I'm so curious, corinna ! ... :-)))

    @All ladies
    First I hesitated to post my comment in ALS in the last blog, bc I didn't know what " CAT operator " meant. Now I see, but he posted the newest one before I posted mine to the last one.

    Bridgestone. I know it's an excellent tire manufacture, but on the other hand, we Japanese doesn't always have a good image about it. So I almost hesitated to post mine, but I did it anyhow at last.

    As you see, Bridgestone is Japanese company, and ex-premier of Japan is one of grandsons of the founder of Bridgestone. His name is Mr. Ishibashi. Ishi means stone and hashi means bridge. Hashi and bashi are both written in the same Chinese Character. The original name of his company was Ishibashi Tire. But when he thought about his business overseas, he had an idea Bridgestone was nicer than Stonebridge which is a direct translation of Ishibashi.

    As for our bad image, it is the ex-premier Hatoyama. He is one of the sons of a daughter of Mr. Ishibashi, the founder of Bridgestone.
    Mr. Hatoyama had done many historically stupid political decisions while he was in office. We think Bridgestone has a luck that grandsons of the founder are not working in the company. ... ;-)))

    Have a nice weekend !
    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Ekaterina

    You make me laugh about Bridgestone. Nice history and funny story, Ekaterina!

    So you think, just in case Aksel wants Bridgestone as a new sponser and visaversa, he has to think twice.

    @Corinna

    First I thought about Fortbildungskurs, but that is not a tiny thing!

    @All

    Love Aksel is again in blogging mood! Nice to have him back in the "old" great shape!

    So I hope sincerely skiing will not let us waiting during the season. But safety first!

    Wish you all a great weekend!

    Hugs!

    ReplyDelete
  29. @ekaterina thanks for this nice translation and the roots of bridgestone!

    well i really have to say, even when i be a girl, i can change the tire, the oil of the car, the cleaning water for the windows, the light and things like this
    i can even put snow chains on the frond tire in 5 mins! and without problems!

    ReplyDelete

  35. @nicoletta thank you!
    well i was needed to learn this stuff about cars!
    when i just had my driving liscence for three weeks i hit with my tire the "bordsteinkante" and i had a big hole in my tire and it was in the middle of the night, so i was needed to call my dad, bc i didn´t know what to do! he sent me my brother to help me out! and right at the next day he showed me how to change a tire! and then i was needed to change the winter and summer tires every time when they was needed to change! at that time i had a little sweet ford fiesta!
    when i got my vw golf, the lightbulb for the light was often defect so i drove to the a specialist to show me how to change it, the first time he changed it and explained it to me step by step and so i do this now also by myself!
    and i also know what kind of oil my car need and where i have to fill in and also the water for the windscreen washer and the anti freezing stuff and the brake fluid!

    and the snow chains i learned to get on the tire on a winter vacation with my ex! it was snowing so much that we needed snow chains and so he bought some so we was able to get up to the ski area, we tried to get them on the tire on the parking place of the hotel, he needed 30 mins to get one snow chain on one tire! and i did it in 2,5 min for one tire! haha he was standing there and staring at me and said then "so now we know who get out of the car when we get stuck into the snow and need the snow chains"

    last winter when we was up in that bar on the spitzingsee we was also needed to get the snow chains on the tires, we had the boyfriend of one of my friends with us but none other knows how to get them on the tires, so i did it!
    it was snowing there 30cm in 2 hours!and during i put the snow chains on the tires the other was already to get off the snow once again from the car! bc it was snowing to heavily!

    well i learned that stuff all bc i was needed to do it and i don´t want to need always the help of a men! i can do a lot of stuff with is not normal for a girl!
    but i know how do handle it and sometimes when i don´t want to hurt a guy i be stupid and need his help! even when i know how to do it! but i don´t want to hurt his "ego"

    haha yes this fortbildung is real great! it is over 3 weekends and the first is in march, then the second is in summer and the last in december!

    well i be proud to be bavarian and when someone ask me from where i am! i say from bavaria (not germany)! lmao

    ReplyDelete
  36. I wonder if ALS ripped the tan pants. I thought they looked tight. Here all the college students wear levi's with the knees ripped out even in winter.

    @Corinna Those are wonderful videos. I don't understand a word of it, but I enjoyed it all. Yes, you should be proud to be from Bavaria. I'm proud to know you. Also, congrats on being handy about your car, and its good to know your own machine. Gives you a great feeling doesn't it to be fast at changing the tires and putting on snow chains? We had to learn in our driver training.

    @Nicoletta Did you see Han's video with his weightlifting? I really enjoyed it. Funny, I used to do some of those floor exercises. I should again, they must be classics. I also like Jon's new car, wow! He seems happier, he must of met someone new?

    @Ekaterina Dance party is a great hydrangea isn't it? Is it blue? I need to find them next year and plant a grouping of three. Are you resting this weekend? Got the house back to normal my dear Ekaterina? Hope you have a good concert to go to or maybe meeting friends this weekend?

  37. @dana
    So long as I know, your pantry is the most lovely among those of my friends. I imagine it looks almost like a picture postcard which girls cannot help buying it, dana !

    @corinna
    You are really good at car works, corinna. The white VW is so happy to be owned and driven by a girl like you, corinna !

    @All ladies
    Aksel is now on board the plane bound for the North America unless anything else happens to him. ... ;-)))

    Looking at his new blog, I feel he gets his rhythm back again.

    Though I'm not sure, if Audi wears Bridgestone, I think Bridgestone is to be automatically the sponsor for the Attacking Vikings & girls' team of Norway. In this time of the economic crisis, it's better to gain the stable sponsor newly.

    Have a beautiful Sunday !
    LOVE !

  38. @Giffy
    It's pink. Dance Party has 3 color. Pink, blue & white. Mine is pink and I plan to buy a blue one next early summer. I hope you can find this wonderful hydrangea next year, too !

    I'm going to join the interesting walking event tomorrow with my friends. It is the walking around the Imperial Palace WITH THE NORDIC SKI POLES. It's not popular in Japan, but I saw it several times in Germany, so I wanted to try it.

    haha i was sitting on the ground in my room and she was standing in front of me! and she has this sweet full concentrated face during she put the colour on my lips! bc she wanted to do it! so i let her! oh and yes this colour is a real intense colour, but i like it!

    ReplyDelete
  46. @nicoletta haha i checked the blog! and this pic is real funny!

    i have now first to apologize me and pls don´t be mad with me! but i be needed now to make me some air!

    ok for two weeks a friend and i was up at this bar (we always go), she wanted first to drive at 11:15pm but i said her if we can drive at 10:30 pm and she came at 11pm then!
    when we was up the whole parking was full and the ppl was standing in the front of the entry to the parking! so no chance to get into this bar!
    my friend turned around at the parking and said "no chance we aren´t be able to get into this bar" and i said "next time we drive earlier!or should we try to get inside tonight" and she said "no, we drive home" and so we did!
    and now she isn´t talking anymore with me and be mad with me,bc we didn´t go inside of this bar!
    her little sis told me it today! and i be just shocked! i explained her little sis how it was at this evening and she just said " don´t explain your self to me, i don´t want to hear it, it is your and hers problem, not mine"
    well how can it be a problem when i didn´t knew that this was a problem! when i didn´t knew that she is mad with me! i just thougth that something is wrong, bc she didn´t answer my mails or sms! but when i be mad with someone then i tell him the reason and don´t act like this and didn´t answer him anymore!

    well i don´t know what i should do know! but i think it is the best when i don´t mail or write her the next time!
    and i also thought about to look for other ppl do go out!
    bc this is just childish and like in kindergarten!
    oh and it isn´t the first time that she is mad with me with out any reason, or better say without that i had done something wrong!

    maybe one of you have a good advice for me!
    and a great sunday evening to you all!

  47. @Nicoletta No Halloween parties for me. I did get invited to a sort of Halloween party. It was a Halloween housewarming, but I had a prior commitment. Ella & I had matching costumes. I found angel wings for her & I bought a pair of devil horns for me.

    @Ekaterina I <3 new carpet! I hope you enjoy your Nordic Walk!

    @Giffy It's never really Halloween without a full moon. ;-) LOL

    Very funny to imagine the click clack in the middle of Tokio!!

    From time to time, I have a look at the blogs of Hans, Jon, Leif & Kjetil.

    I enjoy the different kind of presentation of their blogs! It gives my a good picture about the life of a professional ski racer!

    Now I appreciate - the one and only - new blog of Aksel because he is again on track to communicate with us!
