Disney World

In May my 2 friends & I are going to Disney!!! So excited!!! We are flying down & this will be mt first flight ever. Kinda scared to be in a small space for 2 hours... I'm gonna rent a car while we are down there. Mainly because I want to drive to see the sunrise over the ocean. I've never seen the ocean. Even though Jen said no we are not going to the beach. I am! I'm not gonna make a day of it. I just want to see the sunrise over the ocean & collect a few shells for my collection. Then I want to make a day trip of going to see my Aunts & Uncles that live around Orlando. I figure I can have breakfast with Aunt Carol, lunch with Uncle Roy & Aunt Bonnie & then have dinner with Uncle Phil & his second wife(I can't remember her name). Or maybe I'll reverse it & have breakfast with Uncle Phil, lunch with Uncle Roy & Aunt Bonnie & then have dinner with Aunt Carol & watch the sun set over the Gulf. Then come back & go do what ever Jen & Holly want to do. It's rather exciting to be going on vacation. I haven't been on a vacation since Nashville in 2000. When we do go it will officially be 12 years. I think it's about time to relax & have some fun! I feel like I'm rambling again. I can't help it though. I'm just so excited!

Anyway, I see ALS changed the URL of his site. I like it. Can't wait to see the results of the race. I have a feeling our boys will do well.

OMG! I just had an embarrassing moment. I was singing along with my iTunes with my headphones in when one of the guys from my class walked in...

Your vacation plans are wonderful, Mel!

Travelling is so beautiful, the best thing you can do and combine it visiting your aunts & oncles is perfect!

Going to the Disney World is spectacular and driving along the ocean with the sunrise sounds great! You will so much enjoy it!

Singing with your headset in this lovely moment is so great, can understand you very well!

Take care, Mel! Wish you all the best!

The plan of your vacation looks so fantastic, Mel ! and you deserve it !
I've been once in TDL ( Tokyo Disney Land ). I think it is the biggest Disney World outside of the US.

Having meals with your aunts & uncles is also nice. They are proud of you !

and then, watching the sunrise & senset over the ocean ! It is really overwhelming, Mel. and I expect you pick the beautiful shells ! I think you can also pick some beautiful stones.

8 persons at the table is the best for such a gathering, Nicolettchen !

and I wish your 86-year-old aunt gets her good health back.

Bud Spencer !? I imagine you look his lovely grand daughter, though he is your partner's son. ... :-)))

Thanks for the link of the both !
Wilger Mann is just great. It's my taste, too. and the restaurant of the hotel serves nice meals nicely.
btw, Nicoletta, it's Romantic Hotel, isn't it ? I've once stayed in the Romantic Hotel Theophano in Quedlinburg some years ago. It was so wonderful !

So, your nephews are in the motor bike world. it's the same as @dana's Harley friend in Norway. ... ;-)))

We also have Enduro, but many differences between yours and ours. The distance is from 250km to 300km in Europe, but ours is shorter like from 100km to 150km, bc we have the shorter daytime in summer than you and not so many places to set it in Japan.

Visiting Zurich in Christmas season ! I add it to my list !

I'm happy I'm back too! I've missed you very much...
Thank you for your nice and warm words, my dear Ekaterina!
How are you and your little sister? I think it's nice to have beautiful weather! here's sunny, but not very warm, the weather forecast says it will be warmer the next two days but in the weekend will be rainy and cold, at the mountain will snow again! Brrrr!:)

Wish you a nice evening, my dear! Give a belly rub to your baby sister and tell her Grrrr! from me, please!:))

    @Ekaterina

I know the romantic hotels, Ekaterina! They are great, would like to stay a while in one of those.

"Wilder Mann Hotel" I do not know if it is one, but it would certainly deserve to be one. And the kitchen is extraordinairy too. My nephews said the environment is very beautiful with big forest and small lakes, all very natural! Yes, Germany can be very beautiful too!

Yesterday and today the weather here is awful, heavy rain and it is cold. But it will come better for the weekend. The sun always shines on TV!

On Saturday we have a school reunion with my class which I followed as I was 13-16 years old!

I was grown up in a small village directly at the border of Zurich. The school were real good there, and most of us know eachother since we are 9 years old!

It is my second school reunion, the first I missed. Since the last one, we did not meet again for 10 years. I suppose it will be much of fun!

Will give you a small report!

    @All

    Have a beautiful day!

  8. @Nicoletta.
Thanks for the link, Nicolettchen !
YES, I'm ready. However I have a question, dear Nicoletta. It's still summer-time in Europe. Am I right ? The time difference between Austria and Japan is 7 hours during the summer time in Europe, besides the summer-time, it's 8 hours between you & me. ( I think 7 hours between @dana & me. ) I want to sit in front of my pc at the correct time on Sunday !

I'm fond of attending the school reunion, too.
In my case, the frequency of the gathering depends on the school, like the elementary, junior, senior, and Uni. It's not regular like once in 10 years. and it depends on the manager of the schoolmate. For example, the manager of the schoolmate of the class in my Elementary School likes it once a year.

In Japan, the kindergarten ( from 3 or 4 to 5 years old ), the Elementary School ( from 6 to 11 ), the Junior High School ( 12 to 14 ), the Senior High School ( 15 to 17 ), the Uni or the College ( from 18 years old ). and please add one year to each, bc we have the different BD and for some people the Elementary School is from 7 to 12 years old.
And the funniest thing is the all Japanese school calendar starts at April 2nd ! not the 1st of April. So I was always the youngest in the all schools I attended. ... ;-)))

Hope you enjoy the school reunion on Saturday, Nicolettchen ! and we'll wait for the report from you !

btw, I enjoyed especially the excerpts from " Des Knaben Wunderhorn " by Mahler last evening. The Wiener Philharmoniker knows how to perform it, of course !
I'm going to the concert tomorrow evening of NHK Symphony Orchestra which is the best in Japan. The Program is also one of my favorite, " La Turangalila-Symphonie " by Olivier Meessiaen. really exciting !

It's not so hot, between 14℃ & 20℃ in Tokyo. and it's been cloudy. Usually we have more clear days in October, though.

We have still summertime until the end of October, Ekaterina! So it is very dark in the mornings to get up!

Aksel thinks we now everything about the races, and I think because of FIS live time he has perfectly right! haha

Regarding school reunion, in Switzerland it is not organized too!

If somebody starts to invite all the former class members to a reunion we are lucky to have one! Btw it might be a lot of work.

Wish you a great evening with the concert "La Turangalila-Symphonie" by Olivier Meessiaen, dear Ekaterina!

My dear Ekaterina, unfortunately I didn't see the second run, on Eurosport it was tennis at that hour. But AM told me that he made some little mistakes that cost him time and he ended on the 12th place!!
Anyway, he did a good first run in my opinion and I was so impressed to see that he looks to be in a great physically shape, his body looks very good, massive, strong...it was a real pleasure to watch him!
Also Congrats to Kjetil for his 10th place!!

Have a good and peaceful night, my dear Ekaterina!

Hope you have a great new week, too ! my dear dana. and waiting for some happy news of your stay in B !

  21. @ekaterina he had some problems in the first part of the slope, he slide away for several times!
and one thing i mention was that he slide away rigth in the moment when the commentators on orf1 said "sein herzblatt julia mancuso steht unten schon bereit vor den kameras um ihn medienträchtig die daumen zu drücken!" and they laughed right after this sentence!
it was like he heared that they laughed about him!
(i know he couldn´t hear this, but it was right in that moment, and it was in some strange way real funny!)

    @all a great sunday evening

    ReplyDelete
  22. @corinna.
Thanks ! corinna ! and it's a funny timing. interesting, too. and I suppose Aksel watched the VTR film of it last evening, so, as a result, he heard it !

and yes, I thought he slid away in the first part of the slope, bc he lost almost 1 second there which made me surprised and nervous last evening ( our time ) watching the FIS site live.

Aksel has not posted the update yet. maybe he was too tired yesterday, and he was too nervous, too. I guess Aksel skips the next race, bc it's only slalom, and he switches his mind to the North America where he has had several good memories in his career as a ski racer. Then, he'll be back to Europe in his best condition and will show us the super speed, I hope so.
    Anyhow, Julia the 10th & Aksel the 12th, what a harmony ! ... ;-)))

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Ekaterina
    @All

Sorry I am late, I did not watch the races so carefully because my partner was very busy!

My impression of Aksel was similar to last year. His skis are drifting away many times, too many!

In the second run, it was like you noticed Ekaterina, he lost extremly time with his drifters, and the last bit he was skiing like hell very fast!
The commentator realized it too, but the whole run has to be perfect if you want to be on the podium.

Looking to Ligety or Janka you can see more agility and energy. They glide on skis like it is nothing!

I am very sure he is in perfect shape, as he was also last year, but the confidence and the very natural moves in total harmony are not so much present.

Thank you, Ekaterina, for thinking of Cuche. He made a big mistake and could not correct. It happens seldom that he cannot finish a race, but this time he left the correct line and went outside.

Dani Albrecht gave also an interview, he had good training results, but in the race he had very big difficulties. He told something about the training slope was very different and it makes him a bit confused, so he mad some drifters and lost cofidence completely. So I thought it could be equal for Aksel. Do you think impossible, I do not know!

  24. My school reunion was very much exausting, and I did not like it so much.

The food was horrible and the whole reunion with apero in the afternoon was too long. On the long run to much alcohol for the men with the big bellies!

The only highlight was the teacher, he was in better shape then most of his students. He joined us for the dinner and we spoke a lot to him and he told us a lot about his life, and I liked how young and lively he still is!

He plays tennis 3-4 times a week, makes nice travels and is a witty man. A girl friend and I enjoyed his stories very much.

The girls did mostly not show up and had doubtable excuses. Most of the men gained so much weight and lost their hair! I was really asthonnised to see that, like I said, the teacher is in better shape! LOL

  25. @Corinna

Interesting report of what the commentator said, Corinna! HaHa

People have eyes wide open (and ears) and can see what we see!

I found it interesting what Ali said on ALS blog 00.09.

Yes I agree too, Aksel tries to ski with force and not with skills and therefore it looks always like he wants to win with the "Brecheisen".

btw, did you read Aksel's twitter of " 10 oct " ? I don't check it every day, but I read it just now. ALS is honest, but I wouldn't think he posted something like this at least 2 years ago. I think it is his reality right now. Once he loved the race the most whenever and wherever, but it's a bit different now, I feel. Anyway I hope he's back on the podium soon.

  28. @Ekaterina

You can say it loud, our teacher saved the school reunion!!

Beside of 5-6 really nice people I have got that impression! LOL

I read Twitter every day and I think you are a good observator, Ekaterina!

In my opinion Aksel should go back to his habit to share his life with his fans. A daily blogging is certainly good for your health psychically & mentally! Sharing nice & not so good things with people is healthy and the multiple replies are often so helpful!

In my opinion all these new communication systems are not only bad. But it is important to have a good balance. Familiy, friends, partner and girlfriend are very much important too.

Especially if you are so communicative like Aksel is, and this state you do normally not change!

Having a girlfriend, a partner is nice but sometimes you need other channels to change out thoughts.

I am sure a lot of fans would like to return to Aksel but with his very neutral blog entries it is so difficult to stay in contact with him.

Like it is in normal life, it is giving and taking and he certaily enjoyed these before. It is so wrong to invent this distance.

He was so much communicating and even joking with us, and I am sure everbody enjoyed the dialogues with him very much, he surprised us very often with pictures and texts which were the answer of a blog entry of a fan.

That I found absolutely gorgeous and unique and I must say I miss it still very much.

Like last year I think Aksel is very close to come back on the podium, but he must also work on his mental shape, it is not only about a well trained body, it is the mind!!!

Come on Aksel, we are waiting for you!

Have a good sleep, Ekaterina! Dreaming of ALS on the podium is allowed! HaHa

    Love you!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anybody have any photo's of ALS in his canary yellow suit? Would love to see that! I should go on the FIS site. How is everybody?

@Mel Congrats on going to Disney World. Be sure to stop in Adventure Land. They have a really good looking Capt Jack Sparrow! Even better and younger than the real one. Grr! You should go to Epcot Center too and visit Germany, Japan, I don't know if they have a Romania or a Switzerland venue but they might. I usually eat in Germany, they have a great buffet actually, and lots of cakes!

@Corinna Congrats on your new car! How does it drive? Do you still miss the old one?

@Dana Hope you have a safe trip to B dear Sis and glad you are feeling better. Tell AM we said hi!

@Ekaterina & Nicoletta Yes, I agree with your previous comments and insights. It's very interesting when viewing their partnership in a marketing or social media way. I hadn't noticed that before. Do you think it lessens or strengthens the relationship to have the marketing tie in? I think it is a sign of your high intelligence to follow alpine skiing. haha!

Keep up the good work ladies.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Nicoletta, & @Giffy.
It's interesting to see ALS shows the new phase even if it is contrary to our expectations, bc the life of the top athlete is absolutely different from ours. and we cannot ski at the high speed like him. ... ;-)))

I think he feels lonelier now than before. and @Nicolettchen is right. Having several channels helps one's life smooth.

I cannot follow the races in the North America due to the timezone. I think it's midnight here. But I'm very much interested in the way he races, bc I think the young racers can win the race with the power, but the already succesful star racers need the stronger mental strength every time. Very tough. I think Cuche knows it.

    @All ladies !
Have a nice day in every climate ! AM possibly in the white world, on the other hand, me, it'll be 17℃ tomorrow. The weather man says it'll be " cooler " around 16℃ tomorrow. funny, but the earth is round !

    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

  31. @Ekaterina I wonder if I'll be able to watch the race in North America? Right now baseball and football are the sports Americans watch. Last year I had to watch on a Canadian channel and coverage was brief at best. I think ALS will Trick or Treat in a Thor costume and carry a big hammer. BTW in the US we do not carry our pumpkins through the streets like they did last year. We leave them on our doorsteps. FYI, It has been beautiful in Michigan my dear Ekaterina. The leaves are almost all gone from my trees. The air is crisp and cool. It was a great season for pinecones at my house, but not very many acorns.

Here the video from "talk and sport at Hangar-7" from the 24.10.

    http://www.servustv.com/cs/Satellite/VOD-Mediathek/001259088496198?p=1259088496182

Hope you can see Aksel speaking right at the beginning. It is all in German but I think his mimik and gestures tells a lot.

He looks so soft to me, maybe it is his curly hairstyle I don't know.
Aksel looks like an artist, very sensitive. I have never noticed that before.
But to be correct his body speaks a total other language, here you can see the 100 % athlete!

Aksel speaks about Soelden and about preparation, etc. He thinks he trained enough, but the 12th place was disappointing. In fact you do not know what the form of the other skiers is, even if you feel very strong he mentionned.
Then they spoke about the new Fis skies, the very long ones. For him the new lenght would not so much be a problem because he is a very big skier. But he thinks it is fairplay to join the others because the majority has difficulties.

He speaks about skiing as long his health and condition allows it. So he feels still good with skiing. (Perhaps he needs only another victory!)

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Ekaterina

I think too, skiing is one side but the mental strenght is very much important!

Cuche and Iceman are tough guys, would guess already their nature is rather tough! So I think it is the same for Bode and Ted!

But at the end they have all to work hard if skiing makes problems! I mean if things are not going so very well or if the health is makes troubles!

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Giffy

Congrats to the excellent USA start in Soelden of Lindsey & Ted! They rule at the moment!

Some days ago, I had a look at the agent provocateur shop, I thought I have a quick look for Giffy. LOL

The shop assistant asked me, if she can show something nice to me, and I did not right know what to say.

Could not say I'm having a look for Giffy! So I said I am only looking because I have not really the posture to suit into this style.

A young man with his girlfriend was watching me and had a secret simile on his face. Not a clue why he was smiling??! HaHa

Regarding the PR & media presence, I think it is ok so far for Aksulia! She is an American and used to it, and she seems to be very tough in that.

I think just Aksel should never loose his very natural, down to earth and very Norwegian attitude, because that is all about we love him so much!

    @All

Have a happy day/evening and a good night!

    See you tomorrow!

  35. @nicoletta have you mention that he didn´t wanted to answer the talkmaster of hangar 7 about his training, the talkmaster asked several times how he train and he always just said i trained enough in chile and new zealand!
and also that about that he trained more slalom and then the talkmaster said so the slalom victory isn´t so far away, and aksel well we have to see how this work out!

it was like he didn´t really wanted to answer!
and also this "bullshit" about, when super g training is then all have to train super g and when it is downhill training then all train downhill! but only he can make sometimes change from this schedule, when he want to train downhill and on that day is maybe super g! so he can train downhill and he can do something like this and the youngus not? i found that a bit arrogant from him!

oh and he looked like he just jumped out of bed! and he really need a haircut, oh this long curly hairs are horrible, they don´t fit to him!

but well we have to see what the season brings!

    ReplyDelete
  36. @ekaterin and nicoletta i agree with you both, also about this twitter stuff!

he changed really a lot and he should get into contact more with his fans!

he lost so many friends of this changed behaviour of him and i think it all has to do with his changed live and that he has now a official relationship (i mean official in that way, that everyone knows everything about him and julia, bc the press is everywhere and has his eyes and ears everywhere!)
so he get to try to safe his privacy as much as possible! that is i think something why he didn´t blog anymore everyday!

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Corinna

You are right, ALS did not clearly want to say something about trainings, his condition, etc.

I found it also peculiar, that he can have special treatment regarding training discipline, but I think it is because he is still the no. 1 in the Norwegian team!

With his nearly 30 years he can obviously also all the time share his room with Julia and not with a team buddy, if she is around. Quite understandable, but not so normal?!

I think too, since he has the relationship with Julia he made the total cut regarding staying in contact with his fans.

But it was before the funny way of entries that he often made, funny pictures or more information about his life in general, he had a high level of communicating and he did also not tell us to much private things. I am sure he enjoyed that a long time!

Ok the press, but Aksulia is not Prince William and Kate, aren't they?? HaHa

And I dare to say, it is always wrong - also in normal lifes - to give up totally all your friends, because of a relationship!

Eventually less contact, but not less quality time!

    Yeah, the haircut!
I personally liked the short haircut very much, Aksel looked absolutely like a sportsman! He was also colouring his hair darkblond what suited him absolutely perfect!

Wait and see, everybody can change, backwards ond forwards!

BTW I was also wondering that his sponsors tolerate this change.

    Good night everybody!

It seems the alpine ski race is rather minor sports to watch in the US. It's definitely the same in Japan.

It's really like a typical autumn weather in Tokyo today. The sky is blue and the air is crisp, and it's a bit windy.
The trees still wear leaves, but I find some of them changed the colour into yellow. I think it's in January when the last leaf leaves the tree.

btw, Giffy, you have a plenty of the material for the Christmas ornament. How fantastic it is indeed ! and I think the acorns look very cute !

Possibly in Thor costume this year, as you predict, Giffy. The controversial long curly hair is one of the items for Halloween. At least I want to think like that. ... :-)))

    The, dear Giffy,
Belated Congrats to Lindsey & Ted ! The US is the most competitive country of the world in every fields, so the top athletes are much more determined than any of us. That's also the point I always admire the US.

  40. @Giffy, @Nicoletta, & @corinna.
First of all, thanks @Nicoletta for the links !

It's just astonishing to me that ALS could choose the discipline. Once he said he agreed with his former coach Marius that the alpine ski is the team sports. In my opinion, the conception of the team of the US and Norway is naturally different. I mean, the big family and the small family. So I sometimes do not understand why Aksel behaves the way Julia does. It's OK for Julia, bc she belongs to the US team, the big family. My(!) Bode is also the same. But it actually looks sometimes almost Akjulia, not Aksulia. ... ;-)))

Will he enter the slalom race in levi ? .....

    @All ladies !
Halloween is not so popular among Japanese and in Japan. It is only newly introduced to Japan. 15 or 20 years ago, maybe.
and thanks @Giffy, for teaching me about the manner of the pumpkins ih the US. leaving them on the doorsteps. I didn't know that.

Hope you enjoy the late October !
    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

  41. @ekaterina here it is the same about halloween, it first came up maybe 8-10 years ago!

@nicoletta well i don´t know if the sponsor will make this! and they had no sponsors for the norway junior team, so many of the junior racers race in the worldcup team and then only some days before sölden they found already a sponsor for the junior team!

and i agree, it is normally normal that you can share one room with your partner!
but for example, does hans and maria share one room? or all the other couples in the worldcup!
i don´t think so! bc you normally should concentrate of the race!
and i know it from the german team, that they aren´t be allowed to share one room during training or race with their partners!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @corinna, & @Nicoletta.
    * As for the one room shared by the two during the training camp *
It's impossible in Japan, bc nobody has such an idea. ... ;-))) But the kids might think about it ! ha ha.
Aksel apparently looks happy with Simen, btw.

  43. Well, I enjoyed Hanger 7 very much even if I didn't understand a word of it, except Bode's part. What fantastic planes and cars in the background! Is the show sponsored by Red Bull? Because I didn't understand a word of it I was able to focus on other things. Why does the audience wear earbuds, is it hard to hear in the hanger? ALS had a Redbull cardigan on and plain white tshirt, tan slacks, navy socks, tan shoes? Still needs a stylist. She probably asked him to grown his hair long and messy like hers. I like it better with a cap like the FB page and the curls flipped out in the back. It is an unfortunate hair cut, flat on top. I could not tell he colored his hair, but it did look like he had makeup on when they had an extreme closeup. LOL That was funny.

I actually really like the yellow race suits. Do you think ALS FB page is written by him? You know a lot of people pay others to update their FB pages, maybe they are sharing a person and updating on the same days as someone suggested. That's what I am doing now for my silly job, I post FB and Twitter for a pasta company.

@Nicoletta Thanks for the great laugh. I can't believe you were looking for me. I was probably fast asleep! I have never actually been in an Agent P shop. Just like to tease about it. My friends think it's hilarious to imagine me clicking around the house in the kitten heels...

@Ekaterina Yes, my dear Ekaterina. It is hard to protect your bag of candy if you are carrying a pumpkin around to trick or treat. Your hands would be full and some older kids might try to steal your candy. Not to mention the fire hazard of carrying a lite pumpkin around. haha! I agree with you, I do think ALS looks happy with Simen. Easy to see their facial similarities in that photo, same smile, dimple, chin...

@Corinna Will your little niece trick or treat? When you see ALS this winter perhaps you can have a word with him...while he's signing something. So happy you can go VIP!

@Everybody Keep up the good work. Hugs all around!

  44. @giffy haha what should i talk to him?

"should i say, well maybe you should go to get a new haircut? or should i ask do you want a massage?"

and no my little niece is not going for trick or treat! she is first to young and second my brother don´t like halloween!

  45. @all i found this

no wonder that aksel can´t concentrate on the race lmao

    @All

It is true, the show at Servus TV is sponsored by Red Bull Media House GmbH.

I think it is the idea of Dietrich Mateschitz who co-founded the Red Bull energy drink company and owns a huge imperium, and is well known as a great media guru.

    Here the link:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dietrich_Mateschitz

I have also the impression Ajulia have delegated the FB to somewere, because it is all about sponsors, charity work, evt. results, etc.

Regarding styling, often a couple looks the same after a while, I mean they get more equal in styling preferences.
It is only the question who is dominating. Here it is quite obviously!

The clothing is one side, they wear a lot of sponsored sports wear thats ok, it is only the question of combinating the right colours.

But the hairstyle in my opinion makes the personality! I quite understand Aksel likes a bit longer hair, but it should not be longer than 2-3 cm, and well cuttet!

Longer hair needs also more care, curls must be shiny!

I think it is a no go if you only get styled for the colourful magazines.

Regarding sharing rooms it it totally normal, but during the trainings and races you should be together with your team members because of the team spirit.

I heard Austrian skieres are not allowed to have female visits. In the contrary, Austrian ski girls can. HaHa

So Benni and Marlies will find a solution. LOL

@all when you read this then you can see that julia and aksel didn´t spare one room all the time! but i didn´t belive in it!bc when he visit her one time, then he visit her more often too!

  48. I do like the photo of ALS and his brother.

@Corinna Yes, your niece is too young, and I don't blame your brother for not liking it if its scary there. Little kids go out early before dinner or have small parties at home. My favorite trick or treaters are always the little ones so young they barely know to hold out their bag for the candy. They sell Halloween costumes for tiny babies and even dogs here. Interesting link you found. Is that the new underwear line?

@Nicoletta I noticed he had the same tan pants on in the HEAD; Press Event in Sölden video. I almost think that jacket would have been a better jacket for a TV appearance. Or why doesn't Red Bull give him a nice sports jacket? When he shows up somewhere in underwear and skis with his helmet on, then I'll worry. We have a football athlete, Tom Brady, who says his wife, supermodel Gisele Bunchen demands long hair. Its a trend.

  49. @giffy i can imagine how sweet the little tiny ones can be when they stand in front of the house and says with their sweet voices "trick or treat"
my niece was today here, during the midday, she hurt her little tiny fingers, and was sitting on my lap and crying and crying and crying, i hardly could stop her crying! only with one gummybear!
after sleeping we visit my neighbours and the two dogs of my neighbours she gave them some dog candys and pet the dogs!

  50. Hello my friends!

Sorry, I didn't read your previous comments here!!
I just want to tell you that the result of the biopsy is GREAT!!! I even don't need a surgery!!! I'm very happy about it, you can imagine...
The homeopathic treatment goes very well, so I'll keep take it! Next visit to the doctor will be in January.

Thank you all for your support and for being here for me, my dear friends!
Love you all so so much!

Have a beautiful last October weekend! The winter is close...:))

  52. @Dana Congratulations on the great report on your biopsy! That is excellent news. I'm so glad the homeopathic treatment is working too. Did you meet any interesting strangers while you were in B? Come back when you have more time Sis! You're right it's freezing in MI today.

@Corinna Yes, I think you should offer ALS a massage. Why not, you're a trained professional. BTW, I am sorry your little niece hurt her fingers, hope she has forgotten it by now. It's great that she is not afraid of dogs. Do you know this song?

  57. @Ally Ladies

Thumbs up for the last blog entry of Aksel!!

It was one like in the olden days and I hope sincerely to see more of that once in a while, because ALS has a fluent and lively writing style!

It is a big diffrence if he is writing the texts directly, much more personality can be read between the lines and there are also the funny details!

Thank you Giffy for informing us about outsorced PR function regarding Twitter and FB! I didn't know that before.

I strongly think it is ok for the pasta but not for the sportsmen! LOL

    @Giffy

How is your work going, Giffy? Does your boss well behave?? HaHa

    @Ekaterina

Hope your organization with the new carpets is doing well?

Must be plenty of work! What colour did you choose?

    @ALL

Wish you a happy, sunny and relaxing weekend!

Here the leaves are now golden and the weather in the aftrnoons is beautiful and sunny, quite agreeable around 10 degrees, inviting for a longer walk!

So we can hopefully celebrate kind of Golden November, I hope it stays like that for a while!

Take care, Girls, and don't be too much busy!

Thank you so much for your nice words and for your support! You and the other ladies here have been always here for me!

We have a beautiful autumn too, with golden, ruby and emerald leaves, sunny days and blue sky...

Wish you all a wonderful weekend, my friends!
    Hugs!

  59. @Nicoletta.
Thanks, Nicolettchen. I'm always exhausted even before this kind of works. The carpets work will be in October 31st & November 1st.
The color is something like white, pale gray, and light brown. The tone is the same, I mean it looks the one color.
We have floors of several materials.
    *the entrance hall : stone.
    *my rooms : wood ( flooring )
*the kitchen & dining : cork
    *the bathroom : tile
*Japanese room : tatami ( traditional glass ) & wood
    *the rest : carpet.
and the rest covers the large area such as all corridor, stairs, the living room, & my dad's rooms.

btw, Aksel and Julia will soon have the new web. Belonging to the same management office is easier for Akjulia. ... ;-)))

    @All ladies !
    Have a great weekend !

Don't worry about the Doppel in ALS, bc everyone wants to ask him about it "! ... ;-)))

Do you mean they'll have the same website? Together???

    ReplyDelete
  62. @dana.
I'm not sure, but the situation around Aksel might make it so. I feel they have the web separately. though. ... ;-)))

I often think it is the time we use the internet or we are used by the internet, or the botn. The prominent figure like Aksel and Julia must control it for their actual benefit.
I'll wait and see it !
I believe November 1st will be very busy day for you preparing the BD dinner for Tudor and checking Aksel's new blog. ... ;-)))

I dream about your garden, my dear dana. It's beautiful autumn scene, I suppose.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @ekaterina well i hope that they will not have one homepage together! bc then i think aksel will lost a lot more fans, bc i be sure that there are some more ppl out there, who doesn´t want that or like that!

i for myself think, it is better to have a separatly homepage for each other! bc aksel blogs different to julia! and for him are other stuffs interessting then for her! and he has some other style of blogging like her!

but we will see it on the 1 of november!

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Ekaterina

Your appartment must look very beautiful, Ekaterina!

I like different kind of material, and I think you have a very excellent taste, dear Ekaterina!

It is very common in Switzerland to have floors out of wood the so called "Parkett Böden", I like them too, but living on carpets is quite different, especially the walking!

    @Ekaterina
    @Corinna
    @Dana

What I surprise I met on ALS's blog!

Let's wait and see, what ALS new website will look like!

I think it is a good idea to change it, because Aksel has also changed a lot!
I presume they have two websites, some parts will come out of the same "kitchen"!

I agree with Ekaterina, much easier for the PR Office Akjulia to manage. LOL

Hope very much Aksel will create an even better blog then he used to present during the last weeks and he will spoil us with some nice and interesting entries, and of course much more photos perhaps with better quality.

At the moment one of my prefered blog is the one from Hans Olsson. The texts are always new and fresh, he blogs regularly and it looks not like a "I have to do it - Blog", the quality of photographs is excellent, and he is a very positive and entertaining guy!

Not so easy to beat him, but we all know Aksel has other great qualities!

Wish you a great rest of Saturday and a beautiful Sunday!

    Hugs & Kisses all around!

btw, I love Zorro ( the both in the film and in dana's house ! ), but I'm afraid Aksel is too busy to get a flash of new idea. ...

yes, I agree with @Nicolettchen. I think Hans is talented to have communication nicely by internet.

However the most important right now, possibly not only right now, but also for some years, IS TO WIN THE RACE. It's very severe and strict in the professional sports world.
I hope being with Julia helps him in his office on the (icy ) snow slopes. If not, it's too miserable.

    @All ladies, especially @Mel & @Giffy !
    Happy Halloween !

I forgot to mention. I like parkett Boden.
My parents prefered the carpet, bc in Japan, we take off shoes in the house, as you know. But not at all barefoot.

But since my baby sis Ekaterina joined my family, I've been barefoot all the time, even in winter, bc she loves my barefoot. So it's quite OK for a person with barefoot to walk on the carpet. ... ;-)))

The top TV news at noon here was about the snow on the east in the States. Washington DC, NYC, and so on. It looked very beautiful, but in fact, it is unusual. Seems so many unusual natural phenomenons in the world this year.

Please take care not to catch a cold !

    ReplyDelete
  68. @Ekaterina Haha! Loved your comment about the shared website. Ugh! Do you think she's the something new? Your plans for the house sound excellent. Hope all goes well. I will visit your house in my dreams while you are in Dana's garden. LOL Wish I could teleport. I hope your Dad and baby Sis won't mind. It is unusual for us to get snow in the eastern US this time of year. I remember when we lived in Wisconsin the kids had to wear snow suits over their Halloween costumes because it was snowing there. Makes collecting candy tricky. Its very common to get snow in the northern states, not so in the eastern until mid-late November. What is Xday? You are so good to remember Dana's sons birthday. It is also my Mom's Bday on Nov.1, she'll be 76.

@Dana There were two posts for Zorro. I was sure one was for you! Hope Tudor has a Happy Birthday! Is he doing well? How did your men get along while you were gone this time?

@Nicoletta My job is a joke. I am half way to earning the money for a fish finder, so it's all good. I was told by the owners son that I executed my tweets perfectly. That is something to be proud of, regarding pasta... a high compliment indeed.

I don't have any plans for trick or treating, for a costume, or Halloween. My dear Husband in Brazil. Hope you all have a great week!

    ReplyDelete
  69. @ekaterina sounds good of your home!

we have in nearly the whole house, tiles and on the ground floor under the tiles underfloor heating(i hope this is the right word for it, the tiles are getting warm by a heater)
and on the first floor we have real wood as flooring! and in the bathroom in the first floor also tiles and a heater under them!

we have radiators in the first floor but we don´t use them, except of the bathroom
and we heat the whole house by "kachelofen" this is a better heat then out of radiators!

oh and btw about the snow in the us
we here normally have also snow yet from time to time, sometimes the snow came earlier and sometimes later (right now it is real warm around 15°C but i hope the snow will come soon)
@giffy are you having right now also so much snow?

oh and it has always to do with your view of things, for some it is less snow and for some it is to much snow!
and for me, there can´t be enougth snow! ;)
