  3. @Nicole & Teekanne I posted this on here for Ekaterina. She helped me translate what it says & I wasn't sure if it said something bad & wanted to cover my butt by apologizing before hand. We have a family joke that it says 'Yankee go home.' LOL Now I know what it means. Saipan.

Here's the story of how my Grandpa went to Japan, saved a man & got this jewelry box in return. Picture it Perrysburg, New York March 29, 1946. A young couple are saying their vows, she's in a simple blue dres & he's in a suit. Surrounded by a few friends & family they start their life together. They spend a few weeks together before he goes out to California to train with the Army.

After training he goes over to Hawaii & then to Guam, Saipan & a few other islands. He was a carpenter & was helping to rebuild. He was a Corporal & one day he was promoted to Sergeant. Later the same day his CO was about to pistol whip a Japanese man for doing nothing. My Grandpa believed that if you did nothing wrong you shouldn't be punished.

The guy was so happy that he made this jewelry box for my Grandma. He made it from scrape wood they had left over from the houses they were building. Out of all the stories my Grandpa told me this is by far my favorite. Though the one about the flying fish jumping over the boats & hitting the men in the head & them screaming like little girls is a very close second. It always makes me laugh.

ok the one, and now girls please sit down, was from wanaka new zealand, we girls were out yesterday, and when we drive home, two off us had a great talk to two guys of the group of them, i ask from where they are and they said new zealand, i was smiling and said since when are you in germany and where are you from exactly the one said wanaka and i was smiling like hell. lmao
the other guy was a friend of my ex, but he don´t see him since month, he was standing always in the near of me, and a friend of mine asked do you know the guy who always look at you and i ask whom, she show me him and i said yes, then suddenly a girl (a girlfriend of one of the guys which he was out yesterday) came to me and ask me: what do you think about this guy? and i aks what? about whom? the said this guy, i said why? she said just so, so what do you think about him? he was standing in the near and was smiling at me, i only thought what is going on today, ok he looks real good and he doesn´t want go home yesterday. mh i know him since i know my ex, and he take always care of me and protect me and we had always when we met a little friendlyflirt. once my ex asked me why i always flirt with one of him friends. and this friend of him was the fact why my ex told me that he had slept with an other girl. i was so confused about his reaction yesterday when he saw me. he asked what do you do here? and then he always take a look with whom i was talking and he came near and near over the evening. today i´m so confused about yesterday! so this was my saturday out going

from the other guy i have already his number since 5 years or so and he knows where i live! i found it confusing, bc of that normally we talk a lot and laugh togeather but yesterday he was just standing and watching me, then ignore me and watching me again.but nothing else.
