Stalking 101

Pretend that you are texting & make sure you're flash is off & your sounds too. Otherwise they will know you took a picture. Seriously the click sound will tip them off & they will want to know what's going on.
Hide in the bushes at a distance & zoom in. Distraction such as a live band work very well. LOL
As I walked by them I saw from the corner of my eye that they were watching me. Seriously & then they watched me go up the steps & then they me come down the steps & followed me. This is where the hunter becomes the prey. LOL
Randomly stop to take a picture of something & make them get in front of you. That is if they are stalking you. If not just stop & randomly take a picture that they just happen to be in...LOL

So now that you know a little about stalking. Go out there & have some fun. ;-) J/K The guy in the blue is the one with the really pretty ice blue eyes. Though I couldn't get a really good pic of his face. :-( The guy in the red is the one they were teasing. It was so funny. Seriously I could have stayed & listened to them talk to each other all day, but I had other places to be & Mice to see...

  1. @mel was your dad already at the doc, to clear up what is going on?
bc when he gets alzheimer or something like this, you really should know it, so you can give him the support he is needed!
does he has this only once a month! or more often?

great pics! and great introduce! thanks for posting this pics

    have a great sunday

  2. @Corinna He has these moments when he gets way too stressed. I think the kids not listening & me being so far away with my so called friends treating me like they were is what set it off. The doctor said that he does show some signs, but didn't say he has it.

  3. @mel i be so sorry!
i really hope that he will be better soon!

what will you do when your two girls call you when they be back from florida?!

  4. @Corinna They came back Sunday & they haven't called or texted me. I do believe I'm done with spending time with them. Real friends don't treat each other like that.

Thanks, Mel ! As you kindly noticed, I carelessly posted in the last blog.

yes, you're from a good family, and I really want your dad to be healthy.
I've also heard lots of medicines produce some uncomfortable signs simply caused by the medicine itself. I suppose the doctor arranges another medicine for him and it works without any trouble.

Please come in after you settle at home !

  6. Hello my Ladies!

We are back from our holidays! Will post some words as soon as possible about our fun holidays in the beautiful Bavarian region!

    @Corinna

Wish you all the very best for your Birthday, Corinna!

We loved Prien and the Chiemsee very much. You can really wear your head high coming from such a lovely and unique part of Germany!!

I felt a bit ashamed because I only realized that we were so close to Rosenheim! We really should have met for a drink! LOL

  7. @All Ladies

Our travel in a short report:

We drove from Zurich via Feldkirch to Innsbruck to Hall in the Tirol. In Hall we had Lunch and enjoyed the beautiful city. The landscape was wonderful and I felt quite at home to pass trough the Tirol again. Afterwards we drove over Wörgel to Prien at the Chiemsee.

We were so happy to be in Bavaria and as I said we were overwhelmed about the beauty, the noble place and the friendly people in Bavaria.

The region has still the traditional houses like we call in Switzerland "the chalets". Nice to look at and surrounded with beautiful gardens and trees. Plenty of fields and small hills surrounded by lovely mountains and the highlight, the beautiful Chiemsee.

Our Hotel "Luitpold am See" was lovely situated directly at the lake and we had a beautiful view. The meal in the evening was ok and plenty of great dishes!! The Bavarian seem to be big eaters!!! LOL

The 2nd day we went with the ship to the two island Herren und Fraueninsel. The weather was during the whole holidays ok, with a little rain from time to time but never cold. The nature was brilliant and very green and relaxing!

The two islands are very different, the Herren Insel has the immese castle of the the Bavarian king Ludwig II. He was a great fan of the "Roi de Soleil" of France and he made everything to look his castle like the castle Versaille. Gold everywhere and plenty of decoration. The poor Bavarian must have been very lonely and delicate person, we learnt that the castle was never totally finished and no people were yet living there, exept the king and his entourage, servants, cooks, etc. and only for some weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The Fraueninsel is very different and has a special beauty, there is a monastir of the Benediktinerinnen. Unfortunately the weather turned to a thunderstorm and we had to leave earlier.

The 3rd day we went to Salzburg, the wonderful city which has magic buildings with lots and lots beautiful places, churches, castles, wonderful gardens and has a unique charm.

We had a guide and could see the most important places, as well as the house of birth of Mozart. The lovely city will always stay in our hearts!

The 4th day the weather prognostic was not so good, so we left out the travel to Berchtesgaden which is situated in the mountains.

Therefore we made a lazy day and discovered Prien and went to the Heimat Museeum, to an Art Galleries with beautiful paintings, all painted from women only. I enjoyed both places very much and finally we had a wonderful salad with stripes of Schnitzel and ognions. My patner and I loved this small city so much and were definitely in the mood to stay another week!!! LOL

Plenty of shopping possibilities. I bought some products of L'Oreal, 4 lippsticks which had a special offer. We pay in Switzerland 3x this price and one powder. In a small Parfum shop I discovered a couple of OPI nail lack to 5 Euro the piece and as I said to my partner they cost in Switzerland 25 Swiss francs, nearly 5 time the price, my partner wanted to buy me 4 of theses. :)))

  9. The next day was a short visit to Munich and we had again a nice guide which took as to the most beautiful places of this great city. It was a bit similar to Zurich, also kind of metropole and the prices are quite high. But still we met the lovely charm of the Bavarian people.

In the afternoon we had to drive back home and were quite satisfied about our short trip with a lot of good memories. I am sure, one day we will repeat this travel as well as the travel to the lake of Garda. Beautiful places and the travel distance is quite agreeable!

Wish you all a wonderful rest of the Sunday!

    Hugs & Kisses!

Belated Happy Birthday, dear corinna !
sorry I visit here such late. Actually I visited here often, but I'd had a cold and could not post my comment. Now I'm OK and I sit at my desk.

    @Nicoletta

Thanks for the beautiful report of your holidays, Nicolettchen !
I enjoy reading it several times, and congrats on your successful shopping ... :-)))

I completely agree with you, Nicoletta, that Bavaria is really beautiful and people there are all nice.
I also agree that Zurich and Rosenheim is quite near.

The next place of your holidays might be the lake Garda, but of course I'd like to recommend you to visit Bavaria again, and the next time around Fussen.

Reading your report, I'm so much inspired to my plan in Germany this summer. All of my German friends are from the former " Preussen " , but we all love Bavaria, too. Autobahn nr.9 connects Berlin with Bavaria easily and I think I visit there again.

I always feel the bus tour you take with your partner is very well organized. The pleasant hotel & the great places to visit ! I feel as if I traveled with you, dear Nicoletta !

    @All ladies

2 months have passed since the surgery and I'm well and fine. I can walk as much as I like and I walk faster. I'm not annoyed with a slight fever anymore. My weight still remains 42kg, but I think it is because I walk long distance every day as rehab. The only one thing I find very very uncomfortable is the corset. The corset craftsman decided to make the new one for me and I get it tomorrow. Dr. Shiba is again satisfied with my condition after the surgery when I visited him last Saturday, but he thinks I had better have the better corset, though I have to wear it for only 4 weeks from now.

Time passes so quickly and we have June so soon.
Hope you all have a happy time !
    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

  12. @Ekaterina

Glad to hear you feel better after your cold. The progresses you make with walking are quite impressive! With the lighter corset you will feel again much better.

I hope some gymnastic or moves will be in the program of Dr. Shiba to give you the necessary muscles back. Walking is quite good for sure, but I can imagine some very, very light kind of workout would be a good variation. I say this because after a certain pause from my workout I went to the gym today, and I must say, I feel like newborn!! The Bavarian kitchen is quite nourishing and I am sure you would return with some "hip gold" as we say, Ekaterina! :)))))

I have the impression the Preussen and the Bavarians are very much different, must be interesting for you, Ekaterina, to find out the difference!

    @All Ladies

Hope you all - inclusive your fathers and uncles and the whole family are feeling well again. I did not read so carefully the last comments because after the holiday so many small things are to do.

    Hugs & Kisses!

    Love you!

    Thanks, Nicolettchen !
2 months passed after the surgery and I sometimes feel I cannot believe I had such a big surgery only 2 months ago. I think I do anything which I did before the surgery. The only one thing which reminds me of the surgery is the corset. The new one is a bit shorter and lighter ( 200g less than the former one ), but VERY VERY TIGHT. ... :-(((
Anyhow I hope I still have some patience for some weeks. The next appointment with Dr. Shiba is June 23rd. I feel my muscle strength recently seems to be back as before, but I think I ask Dr,Shiba for some advice for it as you recommend.

Yes, it is interesting for me to see the difference between the Preussen and the Bavarians. I love both of them and it's nice to travel to Germany to see the different nature and history in one nation. In Europe, the border line has been changing and changing, while in Japan there is no border line, bc it is an island which has been controlled by only one nation. In Germany, besides the north( Preussen ) and the south ( Bavarians ), there are the west and the east ( the former DDR ), too, as you see..

btw, I bought the new suitcase today. The Cosmolite ( Spinner 74 ) by Samsonite. The color is red. It was a bit difficult for me to decide the color, bc the blue one is also beautiful. Then I finally chose the red one, bc my hand baggage is also red.

btw(2), Euro drops. As a tourist, I can enjoy it, as you did.
US $ drops, too. Generally speaking, too strong Japanese Yen against Euro & US $ chokes Japanese economy. But on the other hand, I think it is a good opportunity to invest, though I don't belong to those kind of people who has a high professional skill and experience. Japanese media always report pessimistic point of view and it looks almost masochism.
In this time of a kind of chaos, I think the most important is flexible ways of thinking. In one of Japanese old proverb, it says " Smile brings fortune ", and I think it true.

    @All ladies

    Have a pleasant weekend !
    Kisses & Hugs ! LOVE !

    ReplyDelete
  14. @Ekaterina

    Smile brings fortune!
What a lovely proverb! I will remember this for a while, Ekaterina!

You are right, only the smile and perhaps some travel activities bring us over the hard times with the currencies. The stock exchanges are again very much under pressure, it looks like we can forget another year of getting the rebound.

Your suitcase looks great, I love the red color! It is great you can soon leave for your holiday.

You are right, in Europe a lot happened because of the several wars and changing of imperiators and reorganizing of border, etc.

It is funny to imagine, that the Japanese people are quite of the same kind in whole Japan! Even in small Switzerland all the 26 cantons have big diversification. Not only because of the 4 languages. :))))

Hope your new corset suits you and you feel comfortable with it! The tightness should probably support your back! Therefore the training of the back muscles and perhaps also belly muscles is so important as I am told if somebody has back problems or like you after the surgery.

BTW muscles have more weight, so you will soon have more kilos after a certain training period and feel again wonderful! Your processes after the 2 months are great. I send you all my respect, Ekaterina!!

  15. @All Ladies

Wish you all a great weekend with lots of Sunshine!

  16. @Nicoletta

yes, I think it funny, too !
Japan was the feudal state until the end of World War II. First under the power of the Shogun ( who was the top of the state ) until the late 19th century, and then under the power of the Emperor ( who was recognized as God and the actual top of the state ) until the end of World War II. I cannot even believe it !
Furthermore, Japan closed the state to other nations for about 200 years during the late 17th century, the whole 18th century and almost first half of the 19th century. That's why we are still very bad at the diplomacy even now.

Our unique history doesn't work in this time of the globalization, unless we learn more about the whole European history. Since I have learnt about General Guisan form you, dear Nicoletta, I speak about him to my friends when we talk about Switzerland. Though most of our conversation is occupied by chocolate, cheese, alps, watch, neutral, bank and so on, I don't forget to give them the tip of history.

btw, I'm now reading about Clausewitz and his time. ( Napoleon's time ) It's very interesting. For most of living Japanese, Germany is Germany, France is France, and so on, just like Japan is Japan. Of course it's OK and they're right, but the long and hard process must not be dismissed. We learn the history of Europe in school, but most of us forget after the examination.

And then, thank you always, Nicolettchen for a helpful advice for my back. According to Dr.Shiba, my back ( including muscle ) has to be " quiet " for 3 months after the surgery, bc the titanium and my transplanted bones have to be strongly fixed, so I have to wait for some weeks to start the back muscle training. step by step, it seems.

    btw(2), Girls' Talk !
Is JM not in Italy ? ... No plan for ALS to leave for Maui ? Is it possible ? ... :-))) But I suppose both of them will visit London together in July.
Anyway, I'm happy Aksel loves Garda.

    @All ladies !

It looks it rains in Zurich today, but not cold.
    Not cold, summer comes.
In Tokio, it gets humid day by day. In the center of Tokio, summer means the high humidity and high temperature. It lasts for months by September.
looking forward to escape from here for 3 weeks from August 22nd !

Hope you have a fresh new week !
    Kisses & Hugs !

The explanation yo gave about Japan's culture and people is very interesting. Thanks a lot, Ekaterina. Therefore the average Japanese is so alike. :)))))

You really gave me a big laugh about the image of Switzerland! Alps, watches and chocolate and of course everybody is skiing! I have to say thank you of mentioning General Guisan, he really was a wise man.

The situation with your back is more complicated as I thought, so you have still to be very patient, Ekaterina!

The book you are reading at the moment has to be very capturing. I remember I was very much interested in Napoleon I. because I read the novel from Annemarie Selinko with the title "Desirée" as I was a teenager. I really felt also in love with the cute Generale from Corsica at this time. :)

Do you know there is a link to the Swedish crown from this girl Desirée?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Désirée_Clary

Therefore I have always been fascinated by Napoleon I. during my whole life. It is funny another General who has impressed me deeply. LOL

  18. You are right, Aksel seems to have a great time in Garda. Having the Norwegian training camp there is certainly a very good decision.

I do not know much about Aksel and Julia at the moment. According to the FB Julia is in Maui with her sister. Perhaps Aksel had more to do for his image/job this year and so Julia has to wait. No idea if they plan some other time together in the next weeks. I strongly think so!

The weather is still very much changing in Zurich. Yesterday we had non stop heavy rainfall, today it is rather cold around max. 18 degees, but we expect better days after Wednesday.
Normally May/June are two beautiful months but if it is always raining and cold, only mixed up with some real hot days it is not really what we would like to have. I still hope June will be much better.

I understand you are very much looking forward to your holidays, Ekaterina. It is always great to have holidays coming soon.

sorry to be late to come in, Nicolettchen ! Since I wore the new corset, I've had some muscle pain on my legs. At first I thought it would disappear soon, but to my regret, it still remains. As a matter of fact, during the old corset, the stride had to be shorter, bc the old corset pushed my legs. Then in the new corset, the stride is back normal, but leg muscle has not used to walk in the normal stride for about 2 months, so I feel some pain. Those kind of things is just unpleasant, and I wanted to come in when this trouble is over, bc this place is very pleasant place for me. But I'm not sure when the pain leaves, so I stopped to wait for it, and come in now.

Then, thanks for the link of Desiree ! Very interesting ! I didn't know much about her.
btw, in the link, it says " In 1807, she visited Bernadotte in Spandau. "
Please don't be surprised, Nicoletta, I've been in Spandau many times. As you see, I've visited and stayed in Berlin for some weeks since 1999, and the house of my German friends which I stay in Berlin is in Spandau. The history of Spandau is older than Berlin, and Spandau was officially annexed to Berlin about 100 years ago.

btw(2), I read the book about Archduchess Elisabeth. She is only one daughter of the crown prince Rudolf whose parents is Franz Josef I & Sisi.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archduchess_Elisabeth_Marie_of_Austria
Her life was quite dramatic and I also think she was a person of the unique blood of the Wittelsbach.

In Tokio, the annual rainy season started today. It may sound funny, but in Japan, the Meteorological Agency declares the start of the annual rainy season. For me, it sounds funny, bc the weather doesn't belong to the Meteorological Agency. ... ;-)))

    @All ladies !
Hope you enjoy a beautiful Sunday !

  22. @Ekaterina

Very sorry to hear you have troubles with your legs, Ekaterina. It is strange the new corset makes this kind of problems, hope the pain will disappear soon. Did you already contact Dr. Shiba?

The life of Sissi, her son Rudolph and also the life Elisabeth Marie seem to be more big tragedy than normal and happy lifes. They had very often a very hard and strict education and not much love at home.

A lot of princesses, kings and queens show up this problem, kind of mental illness I dare to say. Maybe it is because they for a long time married only in their levels and thank God nowadays they can get married to the partner they love. So the new blood will bring a lot of freshness and another spirit to them.

You make me laugh Ekaterina because of the announcement of the rainy season by the Meteorological Agency, this is a real good one! :)))

Wish you a wonderful Sunday, Ekaterina!

    Hugs!

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Nicoletta

Besides the life in the isolated society, the long history of the intermarriage promoted the series of tragedy, I suppose .
Nowadays in Japan, the marriage between the cousins is legal, but I wouldn't think it is proper.

btw, I have a nice plan, dear Nicoletta. The exhibition of Ernst Kreisdolf starts in Tokyo from June 19th. I think I visit it possibly at the end of June.

The next appointment with Dr.Shiba is June 23rd. very soon. So I think I wait and see if the pain becomes stronger or weaker.
Thank you, Nicolettchen for thinking about me. Anyhow, the old corset and the new one are quite different. I feel I've been played by the corsets for about 3 months.

Have a pleasant Sunday, Nicoletta !
    Kisses !

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Ekaterina

Like your plan to see the exhibition of Ernst Kreisdolf!

Regarding your inconvenience with your new corset I would contact Dr. Shiba immediately. The pain in the legs does not sound good, it must be quite terrible, otherwise you would not tell us about. It is better to clear this up immediately, my dear Ekaterina!

With this corsets it is a special thing, do you remember the story of my mom?

OK I know your situation is very different, but still you presumably did loose the power of certain muscles. The pain in the leg is also mysterious. Please my dear Ekaterina, clear this up as soon as possible. Keep my fingers crossed for you!

    @All

    Wish you a beautiful Sunday!

    Hugs & Kisses!

  25. @Nicoletta

Thank you, dear Nicoletta. You're right, and I do remember about your mom's case. I'll make a phone call to TWMU tomorrow to contact with Dr.Shiba, if my legs condition becomes worse tomorrow morning.
At the present, I can walk for 1 hour without any rest and I feel I can walk more than 1 hour. But I've noticed some muscle pain in my upper legs since 3 days after the new corset. At first I didn't mind about it so much and I've walked the 2-set of the 1 hour walk every day thinking the pain would leave soon, but it would not leave as I expected. It's just mysterious.
Thank you again, Nicoletta for the helpful advice, always.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Nicoletta

I found the pain still remains when I woke up, but it was not worse, almost the same as yesterday. I walked for 1 hour in the morning and another 1 hour in the afternoon with the pain. The pain is pain, but I can walk.
But, dear Nicoletta, of course I didn't hesitated to call TWMU to talk with Dr.Shiba. I reported him the update and explained him about the pain and my situation, especially the relation with the corset. Then he told me the muscular pain of my upper legs comes from the simple muscular fatigue and I don't have to worry about it even if I still feel this kind of pain, and he also recommended me to keep on walking. That's all.
The surgery was in March 29th, but at last I started to walk as rehab, from April 29th and I got the new corset in May 30th. According to him, I'm still in the recovering period which demands me a certain portion of patience. I hope he is right. ... ;-)))

Thanks, Nicolettchen, and have a nice new week !
    Kisses & Hugs ! Love !

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Ekaterina

I am glad you could talk to Dr. Shiba, Ekaterina!
Better one phone call too much as one too less! So if Dr. Shiba thinks it is only a pain because of the muscles it is not so bad! But you say it Ekaterina, pain is pain.

It is good Dr. Shiba supports you to do your daily walk program. Walking is certainly good for you. What about climbing up some stairs, can you already do this, Ekaterina?? Slowly but surely of course, only some minutes! Perhaps you need for this quite other muscles?? what could help you I presume.

The soft training of your muscles I think is the A and O. Listen very good to your body, Ekaterina. Eventually you are already able to do light exercise when you are lying in the bed, lifting a leg, then a little break and lift in the other leg, etc. Perhaps you feel to do other kind of movements like this.

I suffered some years ago from muscle pain in the back. It was awful!! Somebody told me to move because our body avoids to move because of the pain and so we get stiffer and stiffer and therefore the muscles start hurting.

I wonder what our expert Corinna says to your situation??

Wish you a great evening and also a wonderful week, Ekaterina!

    Love you!
    Hugs & Kisses!

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Nicoletta

    Danke sehr, Nicolettchen !
As for the stairs, I live in the house of three stories ohne lift, so I climb up and down stairs many times a day. Besides, Tokyo is not at all flat, so when I go out, the slopes comes with me. What is more, there are many pedestrian overpasses. So walking in Tokyo is just rehab. ... ;-)))
There are of course, some flat area in Tokyo. Those area is the reclaimed area where were the sea some hundred years ago.

Thank you again for the tip, Nicoletta. I'll do it from tonight, lifting up leg, one by one. It sounds very good !!!

yes,a pain is caused by a stiff part of the body, and being still makes our body stiff. And a pain can be reduced by move. But lots of people would not move due to pain, and it's the wrong way. I'm happy that you don't suffer from the back pain now. The little soft daily exercise prevents our body from becoming stiff, plus visiting the gym regularly makes it much better like you do, Nicoletta.

btw, Nicolettchen, what is " the A and O " ? Would you explain it to me ?

I wonder what the PT Corinna judges my situation, too !

OK, I'm going to bed and do lifting up leg now.

    Loving you, Nicoletta !

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Ekaterina

Sory Ekaterina I spontanously said to you what I thought about moving, etc. I estimate you think the leg lifting in the bed is good for you!

The A an O is German directly translated into English! LOL Sorry Ekaterina!!!
It means it is very important, kind of elementary.

Wish you a good sleep, Ekaterina!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Nicoletta

It works very well ! I'll do it every day, lifting up leg in the bed ! Thank you so much, Nicoletta !

    I see. das A( Alpha ) und das O ( Omega ). right ?

It's been cloudy these days in Tokyo, but it's good for the person to walk outside.

Have a lovely day, Nicoletta !

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Ekaterina

HaHa, glad it works! As long as you feel better with it I think it is worth to continue!
Long time ago I had also to do this for quite other purposes!

What about moving like on a bicycle or making little circles in the air, the varieties will make it less boring for you and you can try out new ideas. The main thing you feel relaxed and refreshed afterwards.

I had another idea, what about dancing?? A walz with your lovely dad??

Sounds real good the Alpha and the Omega!!! :)))

We have heavy rainfall since hours and it will only be max. 14 degrees! grrr
Summer is still missing .... !

Wish you an agreeable day, my dear Ekaterina!

How does it go with the soft ice in your pool!

So the weather in Ohio seems to be like we imagine the weather in Summer. Unfortunately our's is still missing. We have very bad weather at the moment!

    How is life Mel??

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Nicoletta

That's right. I need the variety, I'm fond of lifting up leg, bc it's easy and I can also take a deep breath at the same time, which makes me so relaxed.

As for dancing, I think I have to ask my dad if he's pleased to hold the hard corset body. ... ;-)))

In spite of the recent pain, I have a good news, too. For some weeks after the surgery, even after I left the hospital, it was not easy to stand still in the new balance. But now I can stand still without holding anything. I think I become getting used to the new good balance of the body.

As you notice, Nicoletta, the mental part is important. In fact, my life has been full of the stress, such as the corset and some muscular pain for weeks, but some kind of the feeling of relaxed and refreshed helps my life always normal. And, the friendship must not be forgotten, Nicolettchen, and I really thank you for that !!!

I checked the weather in Zurich before I opened this site and was surprised to see the low temperature in Zurich today. It looks like winter in Tokyo. But I suppose the queen summer comes closer and closer to you.

    @Mel

    How's your dad ?

    @corinna

How did you enjoy your time at the lake Garda ?

    @All ladies

Dad's day comes on Sunday. My baby sis and I talk about it.
My dad is funny person. Whenever I give him the present on dad's day, he never uses it saying he wants to keep it clean and safe. He also says the gift from his daughters( Ekaterina & me ) is too precious to use. So we always buy many socks of every different brand which he possibly wears away in 1 year.

    Have a nice day !
    Kisses & Hugs !
    LOVE !

  35. @all lago di garda was so fantastic great weather and great time!

    hope you all be ok

i´ll be this days a real busy girl

@ekaterina great to hear that you feel better and better from day to day and you will see it will going this way all the time, even when there is sometimes a little stop but then it will go on

and as long as you don´t be to "ungeduldig" everything will be good soon!

  38. Dear Ekaterina

I feel so sorry Ekaterina, I am far too late!!! Hope you can forgive me!!

This week I was very busy or I was not able to send you some words. As you predicted the Queen Summer has arrived!!:)))

It sounds good that you can do all this little gym laying on your bed!
I noticed you have also a different feeling regarding your balance. So many things are different as before the surgery, Ekaterina! Isn't it so? What about standing on one leg, of course with holding something very stable?? First you start with trying to lift a leg and trying to "make a knee" with one leg, etc.

Wish you and your small family a very happy father's day, Ekaterina!
The idea with the little walz with your father was a joke, but I think would be adequate for this day!! HaHa

Yes, Angie is a tough lady as well as a fun person, perhaps unwillingly :)))), I saw her while watching football! LOL

    Love you, Ekaterina!

    @All

    Wish you a great weekend!
    Hugs & Kisses!

  39. @Nicoletta

You don't have to say any sorry at all, dear Nicoletta ! We all girls are always very busy.

I suppose you have a nice time walking around the lake with your partner in the beginning of the queen summer.

As for the balance of my " new " body, surprising to me, I can stand up still with one leg without holding anything for minutes and more quite easily. While I stayed in the TWMU hospital, the PT once told me my sense of the body balance was better than her during the rehab session. I remember I thought it so funny, bc she didn't take any surgery. ... :-)))

The muscular pain of my left leg is over and I now wait for the right one leaving soon. I feel the pain only when I walk. It'll rain heavily in Tokyo tomorrow. I think I stay at home doing lifting up leg & standing up with one leg, which I think the best rehab menu right now. One of my friends visits me for the tea tomorrow and I go out only for buying the cakes. The name of the shop is very funny, that is, " Qu'il fait bon ". It sounds too straight. ... ;-)))

    @All ladies

Let's enjoy the super dad's day tomorrow together !
I hope Mel's dad feels well and fine again.
    LOVE !

  40. @Ekaterina

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful father's day, Ekaterina!

You are so right, the lake is now the greatest attraction in Zurich!

Last Thursday my friend Alice from Basle came to see me, I know her from our travel to Chiemsee. She asked me to show her the city and so we had plenty of fun together. The weather is wonderful, real Summer with 30 degrees! Today we except little rain but not cold!

Hope the start of the rain season does not disturb to continue with your daily walk.

I have no specific education but I know it from my mom and now from my aunt how important moving is after a surgery because everybody needs good trained muscles, because they keep our bodies together and allow us to do daily business. Moving is also very important for the blood circulations, varices, etc.

You will already know everything, Ekaterina, but I allow me to put it down as a reminder! LOL

I am so glad Ekaterina to hear you have already success regarding your pain in the leg.
You seem to be on the right way. Keep on moving, Ekaterina!! :)))))

    FB Account

By the way, it would be great if you could open the FB account as soon as possible, Ekaterina! Just open it, the rest you will find out step by step.

I promise yo you will be delighted because if it is a bit quiet here, there you will meet plenty of action. It is also a good supplement and you also can be very creative there! You will see!

    @All

Wish you all a happy day!

Forgot to say, if you have a problem regarding FB nearly everybody can give you a support, don't worry, Ekaterina! Please just ask on Mel's blog!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Nicoletta

A portion of my patience becomes running out. I'm talking about the both FB & the corset !

I opened the account a few minutes ago, which I hope I did it in the right way, and dear Nicoletta, my desk has been the mess for these months, bc it's not easy to act normally while wearing the corset and I've nearly lost several written notes. Would you please show me your FB address here again ?

    Thanks in advance.
    LOVE !

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Ekaterina

Please do not loose your patience for your corset, dear Ekaterina! Everything will be fine!
I do understand that you are still going through very hard times.

What do you mean by "you have lost several written notes"? You lost the text on Mel's blog?

Your decision to open an FB account is great, Ekaterina! Congrats!:)))))

My address on the FB is Nicole Wyler, the one with the surfer on a blue background! If you open it you will see a picture from Chiemsee!

Hope to meet you soon on the FB!

Wish you a great day, Ekaterina!
    Hugs & Kisses!

    ReplyDelete
  44. @Nicoletta

I tried to open your FB, but it's not the one with the surfer on a blue background. I'm afraid I got lost !

yes, I lost the text on Mel's blog.

How do you think I can do ? Nicolettchen !

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Nicoletta

I've been trying and I confirmed I opened the FB account, bc it is noticed by e-mail to me. And I've been trying to search you from it, but some trouble concerning ID & Password stops me doing it. I think I call the remote support tomorrow anyway to ask about it.

When I try to search Ms. Nicole Wyler's FB in Google, I cannot find it, bc there are so many different sites, though I don't know why. ... :-(((

But I think I'm coming closer to you, dear Nicoletta, at least I hope so. ... :-)))

  46. @Nicoletta

I did it by myself ! I found your FB site from ALS !
I saw a beautiful pic of the surfer and Chiemsee !

    1. make a click or on the surfer pic

    2. then you see the title pic with the Chiemsee

    3. on top you see "add as a friend" and make enter (than the friendship offer will be sent to me). I have everything in German so you may have to look for similar expressions.

    4. than I will accept it

    5. you will receive a note in red (it is a number) you make a click and you can read that I have accepted)

    6. than you can see my FB account with pics and songs and everything as well a my FB friends!
Quite a lot of girls you will recognize as from Mel's blog, so you will be delighted to make the procedure as mentioned above.

    Good luck, Ekaterina!

If you have a question please ask me. You are very welcome Ekaterina!

    2.
On top you will find also a "search" function if you type for example Aksel Lund Svindal or Bode Miller, etc. you can answer with "like" or add as a friend.

Soon there will be plenty of action on your FB account, I assure you!

    3.
There is also a chat function on the left side. You see the picture and if the person is online, you will see the red light. Here you can start a chat if you like.

    @corinna

I've tried by myself, but I could not find " add as a friend ", so I called the remote service and, the person & me have tried together to find it for one hour, but in vain.

What is worse, I could not open the exact site of FB Nicole Wyler, so I jumped from ALS site to the beautiful blue page of Nicoletta, but I could not find you even in ALS site.

Dear Nicoletta, the person of the remote service recommends me to ask you where is " add as a friend " and I'd like to ask you to inform me of how to reach your FB site directly.

I'm almost like a thirsty person whose hand is just 15cm away from the water. I think it's a matter of time to connect with you through FB.

So instruction again, please, Nicolettchen !
    Thanks in advance !

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Nicoletta

I found your name again in ALS and I jumped from it to your FB.
I only find " Feed abonnieren " instead of " add as a friend ". It's the same in ALS site, too. There is no " add as a friend " next to the photo of your FB site in ALS's.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Ekaterina

Sorry you have so much troubles!!

    1. Please enter into your Facebook account with password, etc.

    2. then you see the search line on top

    3. there you can enter a person (like Corinna or me)

    4. you got a selection and have to choose the right picture

    5. you click the picture and open the site

    6. somewhere on top is the "add as a friend"

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO EVERY STEP FROM YOUR FB SITE!!!

    Good luck, Ekaterina!

  52. @Corinna

Did not notice your green light! It is funny!

I am also very much looking forward to welcome Ekaterina on the FB!

Thanks, Nicolettchen. I did all ( from 1 to 5 ) from my FB account. But " add as a friend " never appears. Only " Feed abonnieren " is shown in your FB. How can I find " add as a friend " ?

I'm going out for a short walk, bc it stops raining. I'll be back later.

  54. @Ekaterina

    Strange, very strange!!! LOL

So we try the other way round. May I have your name Ekaterina on your FB site???

So I can send you the friendship offer. Then you have to accept. Everything works with the "red numbers" in the message area on top!

  56. @Nicoletta

    Thank you, dear Nicoletta !
The name of my FB account site is Yuko Yoshida. I'm afraid there are thousands of Yuko Yoshida in Japan, bc both my first name and family name is so common.

YES, I NEVER GIVE UP, NICOLETTA !!! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  57. @Ekaterina

    You make me laugh, Ekaterina!

I do not really want to get friends which 1000 of nice Japanese people with the name Yoshida!! :))))))

You should also install a quite unique profile pic like my surfer. I think for this you need some extra help!!!

Do you not know somebody who uses the FB under your friends? Maybe a young student from the piano lessons or so! Somebody should help you personally at your place because it looks a bit difficult to me!

BTW can you use the search line??

Did you look for Aksel Lund Svindal and could you look around his FB site?

Did you find the like buttom??

There you can click and so will get the latest news from Aksel. Nearly at the same place is "add as a friend"!

Don't worry, Ekaterina! You will manage this somehow!

What about your computer help line, you need some young computer freaks to help you! LOL

    Love you, Ekaterina!!!

    @corinna

Thank you for trying to help me so hard !
I've been trying trying in many ways, and in vain.
I sent e-mail to one of my friends and he told me I'd better ask the help from the remote service which the skilled PC person operates my own pc from their office while I watch what's going on in my pc.

You may not believe it, but in Japan FB is not so popular as in the US and Europe, and even the teens and 20's are more conservative to use FB. Before the surgery, I asked one of my student who is a freshman of the Uni, about FB, bc I thought she could help me and I also thought I could join it by her help. But she told me she doesn't know much about it, so I postponed my action until now.

Then, the skilled pc person over the telephone this afternoon could not help me at all, which made me very disappointed. I'm thinking I call the remote support again tomorrow after I'm back from Dr.Shiba and get another person and work with him or her again.

I also think about another way within today. Would you please let me know of corinna's FB or dana's, or anybody I've known. Then I try to open it, and I may find some hint, I hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @Ekaterina

Sorry for not saying it more precise! I have changed in the meantime something on my FB account.

For a reason I do not know - you are right - no one was allowed to add my as a friend.

Now I changed it to "All". So it will work! Please try!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Nicoletta

We did it ! dear Nicoletta ! I'm so happy !!!
I dropped some line in the " chat ", as I noticed yours, but, dear Nicoletta, I don't know how to post it, bc I don't know about the way of the chat !

    2. You can click my name with the green light!

    Please try again!

  67. @All ladies !

    # Dr.Shiba vs me #
We understand each other, at least I believe so.

The next appoint with Dr.Shiba is in July 30th, almost 5 weeks from now.
The X-ray pics today show very well, that is, my backbones are fixed nicely without working loose.

    * My point *
I'm allowed to sleep without the corset at night from today. Dr.Shiba completely agrees with me.

    * His point *
I'd better wear the corset for more 5 weeks when I go out just for precaution. I agree with him thinking about so called " in case ... ", bc Tokio is just the crowded city, especially the center part of it where I live and go out usually.

    * His point or My point * How about at home in the daytime.
Basically he agrees that I'm without the corset, and I think I'm glad.
Then we talked about many possibilities of " in case " at home. And there is one thing we worry a little bit about. It's Ekaterina, my baby sis, as you see. When I take care of her, my body often gets twisted. Dr.Shiba doesn't think it harms my backbones so much, but he also thinks about " in case ". I take care of my baby sis whenever she is awake,bc she wants me to do so, so there are many " in case " at home.
So finally we agreed that I wear the corset for the next 5 weeks at home in the daytime when she is awake. It means I wear the corset at home, bc the time she's awake depends on the day.

According to Dr.Shiba, the patient like me has to wear the corset for 3 months after the surgery ( mine was in March 29th ), but if the patient wears the corset one month more, the backbones condition is guaranteed much more safely. I take the CT in July 30th before I meet Dr.Shiba, and he wants to check the CT and wants to confirm it safe. At last I agreed with his idea thinking about " step by step ".

He promised to give me the certification of the surgery the next time we meet. It is used for the airport security, bc I'm the Titanium lady. ... ;-)))

I think it is a kind of compromise. If I wear the corset one more month than I expected, I'll feel safe when I start the annual summer holidays from August 22nd. I've taken things positive and it's my way of life.

As for the muscular pain of my legs, he explains it's normal and I'll get used to the new balance much better and the pain leaves soon. I hope he is right. ... :-)))

    So, it's 5 weeks, it's 5 weeks. I hope I still have the extra portion of patience. ... ;-)))

Thank you all for worrying and thinking about me. I always think your heartfelt thoughts have helped my health condition better.

    Have a pleasant weekend !
    Kisses & Hugs !
    LOVE !

  68. @All ladies

My baby sis slipped into her bed and started sleeping, and I'm now off corset. For these 3 months, I've been off corset only when I take shower in the morning and at night. I feel I can keep my back straight even without corset. I think Dr.Shiba's idea is helpful, bc I'll be able to get used to " off corset " little by little, step by step.

btw, It's been nice I receive many pics from your FB. Telling you the truth, I'm still wondering around, but enjoying FB very much ! There still seems many I don't understand yet, but step by step. I think it takes some weeks to upload my baby sis' pic, but sooner or later. ... ;-)))

Have a great Sunday, Nicolettchen !

  71. @Ekaterina

I am very glad you enjoy the wonders of the FB, Ekaterina!

Don't worry you will learn to handle it, step by step as you say!

Perhaps I can help you tomorrow around 14.00-15.00 Swiss time on the FB. So we can try to do your profile picture!

Wish you a good night (without the corset!!) Sleep well!

    Hugs!

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Nicoletta

    Thanks, Nicolettchen !
As for the pic, I've been thinking about posting the one which I hold my baby sis in my chest. But all of her pics since she became a member of our family ( like Ms. Ekaterina Yoshida ) have been taken by the non-digital camera, only bc we try to make the best print for the New Year Card which she greets on behalf of the family. We choose the best one from more than hundred every year. According to the camera & film expert here, the best print is made in that way.

Then, as you see, I still have to wear the corset and I cannot hold her now. So I'm thinking about posting ours after July 30th when I'll be able to hold her in my chest tightly just like as a commemoration. ... ;-)))

But anyhow if you sit at the pc around 14:00 to 15:00, I think I visit you to have some little chat. Of course I would not mind if you leave from the pc at that time and I drop some lines myself so that you'll check it later.

I'm leaving here for the 1-hour rehab walk now. The muscular pain of my legs are gone, to my joy.

See you later, dear Nicoletta !
    Hugs !
