    You make me laugh, Mel!!!
It is always great to start the day with a laugh, dear Mel! Love it!

How is your essay going? Must say, I do not know so much about body language, and I think I feel quite ok without. LOL
But I am also totally curious of a short summary from you!!!
Please send us one, just if you have got the time, Mel!
    Have a great day!

Yesterday I took the opportunity and made a nice little walk along the river Limmat and the lake of Zurich!

It looks like this. Forgive me the luxury and the Bahnhofstrasse, but maybe they paid the video!! LOL

The river boat will start in April again, so I will make very often a nice little ride, it takes 30 min. and I can use the same ticket as for tram and bus, and I like very much to return by feet.

The latest news about Fukushima did not sound that good!
    What do you say, Ekaterina?
Since a while I am thinking of plan B for you. Do you never think, it would be better to leave with your dad and baby sister the place Tokio?
I remember the aunt living "in the same time zone", you remember? You were going on the occasion of the funeral of your dear uncle to her.
As longer as the troubles are going on in Fukushima, and the information is only in homeophatique drops, I am really worried for you, my dear Ekaterina!

Hope you and your dad and the baby siser are ok.
Send you all my love, Ekaterina!

Thanks Mel ! Love it !!! The beautiful maountains, I mean. * wink *

    @dana.
    How are you today ?

    @Nicoletta.
Thanks for the video ! It's so nice & fun !
The Fraunmuenster . ... I remember I saw Chagall's another work in Mainz.
and very nice you had a wonderful day at your home town !

    Then, yes.
My dear Nicoletta, I suppose it's been hell in the Fukushima 1 for these couple of days.
The worst situation was once avoided by the super pumpers operation which we must continue until Fukushima 1 will be under control by the power to get ready to sleep. But the new situation is the start point to the further worse situation.

Since yesterday, TV has talked more about the contaminated water & crops. Of course these info must be reported. and the report more about the people's update in the disastrous area. It's also important topic to be reported. also has talked about the partly blackouts.

But we have a certain fear , bc we think there is the possibility that all 3 nuclear reactor ( Nr.1, nr.2, and nr.3 ) got the damage which means the melt-down. The pipes from the reactor running to the next door, the turbine room, got the damages, and water running is contaminated.

btw, Nicolettchen, my relatives live closer to the Fukushima 1 than we. ...

    Now ;
1). water in the plants are highly contaminated. they must leave ,and put in the hard case safely. The heroes are working with it right now.
2). electric check & repair work is continuing.
3). seawater to pour is replaced with water.
The US navy brought us tons of water, and the super pumpers are ready to use those water. " Cool it down " operation is needed.

yes, TV also reports about the shortage of gasoline.

I want more info about the Fukushima 1. The only one thing I can guess is that it's hell there.

Tokyo is 250km, Shibuya-ku is 300km far from the Fukushima 1.
My baby sis is nervous to go to another place. Dogs are OK, but some cats don't like to move to another place.

In the Fukushima 1, about 580 people are working now. The soldiers, hyper-rescue, and engineers.
Maybe that's the update for today.

My dear Nicoletta, I really thank you very much for the plan.

    @all
Hope you have a beautiful weekend !

Sorry, Ekaterina my plan was not really a help for you! LOL
I had the intention that she lives far, far away!
Yes, I know the cats like the environment! But in this case? I do not know .....!

Here a link from a very serious Newspaper in Switzerland. Hope you can see it! If you click on the pictures, you could read more. The link should be actualized from time to time.
    http://www.nzz.ch/nachrichten/japan

It is in German, but if you copy the link directly into the google translater, you could read the whole newspaper. To my astonishement, it worked at least for me with a Norwegian newspaper!

  9. So, I come to visit the blog and I see this. And all I can think (excuse my french)

    DAAAAAAMN!

Very nice, I must say! lol

The weather has turned into its normal wintery cold. I'm not surprised because that's to be expected here in Indiana. But I was enjoying how warm it was. Spring warmth instantly brightens my day, but I'll have to wait a little bit before that returns.
Hope everyone has been having a great week!
    Here comes the weekend!!! :D

  20. @AM Did I? Oops my bad. LOL I thought I had posted it before, but I wasn't sure & I was having a lazy moment & didn't want to go through all the posts.

@Dana & Ekaterina *raises eyebrow* Do you really expect me to believe you were checking out the mountains in the background? LOL I know what you were checking out! ;-)

@Nicoletta My paper is going well. I wrote about when Obama was on The View & how he said he didn't know who Snooki was when he had mentioned her in a speech 3 months prior. That caused a lot of debate over if he was lying or not. then I wrote about when Matt Lauer asked Bush about torture & CIA secret locations. Bush got very angry & defensive. Plus he tried to intimidate Matt by inching closer to him. Body language is very important because it gives away the persons true feelings. It's very easy to lie with words, but very hard to lie with your body.

  22. @all ladies !

The 2 weeks have already passed since that day.
The restoration in the vast disastrous areas is going on, I think it smoothly, as we expected. I really thank you very much for your help.

On the other hand, the stray Fukushima 1 is still wondering between Three Mile Island & Chernobyl. But as long as the cooling operation is in progress without trouble, the worst situation is avoided.

The power. We need it. ... It's so ironical that the power plant lost the power. There are many urgent systems equipped around the nuclear power plant, but Tunami of March 11 destroyed nearly all of them. It was not all of them. Some systems of the Reactor nr.5 & nr. 6 were found to be reserved, so the both nr.5 & nr.6 are absolutely safe now. Of course they were out of control before the power from the outside finally connected to the Fukushima 1.

As for nr.1,nr.2,nr.3 & nr.4, even the power connected the plants, the power hasn't run inside the plants yet, bc there are so many repair works to be done and it's not easy to work there due to the radiation. So it takes time.

But I think nr.4 is the safest among those 4 reactors, bc there is no fuel rods inside the reactor, it has the used fuel rods in the pool which are kept cool by the super pumpers.

When the earthquake and the sequent Tunami hit the Fukushima 1, nr.4, nr.5, and , nr.6 did not work, because they were in the period of the regular check.

    Then, nr.1, nr.2, and nr.3. .......
They are stable right now. The super pumpers works well, but we need the power inside those 3 reactors. And our heroes have been working in the hell for 2 weeks.

    *NOTICE*
It's confidential, though some of you have been informed by the media.
It's not at all secret normaly, bc it has been reported several times in the TV and the papers before March 11.
... Are you ready ? my dear ladies ? .....
    OK, I report.
The nuclear reactor nr.3 is different from other 5 reactors in the Fukushima 1.
The fuel of the nr.3 is .......
    ( sigh ) Plutonium.

That's the update for today, I think.

It's been very cold here these days. The temperature is from 2C to 10C. I think we'll have a spring in April hopefully.

Hope you enjoy a happy weekend !
    Kisse & Hugs !

Here the latest news from NZZ: http://www.nzz.ch/

    Please scroll down to:
    26. März 2011, 06:55, NZZ Online
    Drastisch erhöhte Strahlung im Meerwasser

Did I ever tell you that Switzerland is on fire because of the nuclear power stations in Switzerland? A lot of people want to stop them for ever!
There are now strict investigations started to analyze and compare the case Fukushima, and to improve our nuclear power plants. The trouble is, we have as well some earthquakes, very seldom of course and not so strong ones. But very often the power plants are built nearby of a dam with huge water in it!
On the otherhand we have many older power stations along the border in France and in Germany as well. Especially the ones in France are very doubted that they have the stricly norms of Switzerland!
So you know why NZZ, that is the serioust newspaper in the german-speaking part of Switzerland informs so deeply. The newspaper is strong in economy and finance, but has also good info about art and culture.

Have a pleasant weekend, dear Ekaterina, hopefully Spring comes soon for you!

We leave now the extreme sunny and nearly Summer temperatures of around 20 degrees. Last night it was like a Summer evening, everywhere I saw the people hanging around outside of the bars and enjoing the Friday night!

    Have a beautiful weekend, ladies!

  26. @Nicoletta.
Thanks, Nicoletta ! Although I fail to see the one 06:55, I see what it's about. Anyhow I'll try later. I'm fond of NZZ.

Since March 11, I also worry about the people's reaction to the Nuclear Power Plant all over the world.

I think the nuclear power plant is constructed and built strictly safe. I also think it is run safely, bc it has to be checked strictly and regularly.
And, I thought every nuke plant has the facility & system in case of the emergency.
    BUT, IT HAPPENED.

I was truly upset when we were informed that the Fukushima 1 totally lost power. I still cannot believe it.
I know " IF " is forbidden, but IF it has power, either the standard one of the urgent one, the Fukushima 1 was safe, and the news was within the limits of the earthquake and the sequent tsunami.

But we were despairingly powerless against the huge natural disaster like this.

We had the enormous earthquake & tsunami in the area in the past. In The Past. It was about 1,200 years ago. We knew it, so, we built the facility against Tunami in the sea near the area. But it was easily destroyed, and, our heroes are fighting agaist the enemy without shadow right now.

I worry about people living in the area of the nuke power plant ( npp ), bc I guess they are very anxious now knowing about what happeded in the Fukusima 1 npp.

The all Japanese media reported and reports about the reaction abroad, especially the reaction of the government abroad.

    ... continues ...

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Nicoletta.

    ... continues ...

As you see, France is the top nation with npp, and they don't mind so much about it. Germany & Switzerland are upset just like me.

The problem is in my opinion, we have not got the other safe & ecological energy yet.
I think the npp near the dam is safe, but I understand people worry so much about the natural disaster.

I think the accident at the Fukushima 1 gives us the common opportunity to think again about the npp and other ways of the power. It was 2 or 3 years ago that Bill Gates and Toshiba met the agreement about their joint venture of the npp in future. The much safer and economical npp. I'm still interested in it.

There is one more problem. That is the government. For example, if Iran will be able to handle the npp safely or not. .....

As you already know, the Iodine and the Cesium were detected in seawater near the Fukushima 1, and there are still many contaminated water remains inside the Fukushima 1 now, and our heroes are struggling with it.

I still cannot believe what happned in the Fuskuhima 1, but I've checked and will check the situation which I do hope settled safely eventually, and SOON !

Hope you enjoy a beauatiful weekend, my dear Nicoletta !

    @all ladies !

Hope you have a pleasant weekend, ladies !
    Kisses & Hugs !

I thought you might be interested in NZZ. So if you look for different news about Fukushima, you could look under the following buttoms in the headline:
    - Startseite
    - Japan
    - Panorama
    - Wirtschaft (Economy)

I think the Panorama is the most convenient one, the infos are mixed about different topics, but it seems there are the latest news.

Finally I found under Panorama the text from 06.55 "Fukushima: Drastisch erhöhete Strahlung in Meerwasser"!

Please scroll down in the Panorama page! To read more of the topic you can always click the YELLOW TITLES. In this case:

Fukushima: Drastisch erhöhte Strahlung im Meerwasser

Because you are already sleeping and can only have a look later on, here another link:

    http://www.nzz.ch/nachrichten/panorama/drastisch_erhoehte_strahlung_im_meerwasser_vor_fukushima_1.

    Hope you will succeed!
Have sweet dreams, my dear Ekaterina!
