Here I'd like to introduce something like custom in Japan. It's about the relationship of the famous figures.
In Japan, there is often the couple both athletes. The media naturally excites about it.
Then our custom comes.
Both of them releases the statement or comment and sends it to all media by e-mail or by fax.
The contents of the text is nearly same in every case. Here is the typical example.
"Ms(or Mr.)A and I have started dating. Both of us find it nice relationship and we respect each other as an athlete and as a person. We are still not sure what it will be, but we think we'd like to respect each other. When we come to think it's time to report you about us, we wouldn't hesitate to do so.
So, we're so much pleased if you kindly let us keep quite life.
Thanks for your sincere and heartfelt cooperation with us in advance."
The points are ;
(1) admit relationship.
(2) emphasize the word " respect ".
(3) ask to wait & see, and at the same time , promise they'll open it when they decide it.
(4) never forget the word " thanks "
(5) and the text is written in polite manner.
Then, Japanese media don't be excited about it any more. The media opens this statement or comment public and everybody has the common consensus.
So, in Japan, if the couple of famous figures want them stay in daily topics in the magazines or other media, they don't send such a statement to the media. I think JM wants to stay in this situation, bc being a girlfriend of Aksel means more than tiara for her.

That is, they need " Mom ".I think it is quite different from those in Europe and the States. The athlete's life is just hard and busy, so Japanese male athletes want not only wife, but also mom at one time. So most of wives are 3 - even 9 years older than them in athlete's case. People even often say that it is the first step for them to success. and it looks true at least in Japan.

I just have that feeling.
As I am a female person and rather extroverted too, so I feel also very much with Julia - it is just a reflex!
I have the intention, Julia is so much an extroverted girl, and if I do not be wrong, Aksel is more or less the introverted guy.
It is just my personal opinion, if a couple has very different characters it can be difficult to understand or "to read" each other.
It needs a lot of good-will and tolerance to go on with that.
Conclusion:
I love and respect both, Julia and Aksel. That's all.

ReplyDeleteI remember Aksel once said the athlete is not always healthy. Yes, of course, I think so, too.
Reading the update, I don't think it is the food poisoning or anything like that, and I think he's simply tired as he admits it.
In Japan, there are so many people suffer from some kind of mental disorder. Some cases are from genealogy, but most of the case is from one's life style. And recently we are recommended to take a rest before feeling tired. I think it a good idea, however it's not always easy to do. Too busy life is harmful not only for mental health, but also immune system.
I suppose Aksel is now tired both physically and mentally. But luckily he is not suffering from any illness and disorder. His stomach trouble is standard one for anybody, at least now.
Then, Kvitfjell and Lenzerheide are just in front of him, and he wants to race there.
@Mel. I'd like to ask your judge. Do you think Aksel has to choose to race or not to race ? I think Tarot says he is going to choose one from two different ways.
In Kvitfjell, 2 DH this year. The genuine Kvitfjell DH and the replaces:Beaver Creek DH.
I think it is very tough. But I understand Aksel really wants to run races in Kvitjell and Lenzerheide, and I want him to run. But is he in the condition to run the races now ? I worry a little bit about it.

@Ekaterina He may have to choose between his health & racing if he keeps getting sick like he is. I know athletes aren't the healthiest people, but he seems to be sick a lot more than any of the other guys. The cards aren't really clear what he has to choose between, but with what facts we have I would say your right.

45 minutes until my favorite class starts. We are going to finish The Social Network. It's a great class. We get to listen to music while he sets up & we get to watch movies. Though we are a week behind, but that's ok because it's a fun class.
I'm so not happy with my College Comp class. We have to do a stupid group paper & I hate group projects. I always seem to do all the work. The girls he paired me up with don't seem to know what they are doing. They are late everyday to class. Which sucks! Hopefully I get a good grade.

Usually we offer snowdrops and freesia, but we can give to our moms any kind of flowers, cards, small gifts, anything that can bring some joy and a smile!:)
Sometimes is enough to give them a hug and to tell them that we love them!
