Blood Tests
I'm glad fis is now doing blood testing for doping. I just hope none of the racers are afraid of needles. I doubt they are, but one never knows it is a common fear.
@Corinna Ella is not afraid of thunderstorms. I figured she would be because all the dogs we have every owned have been afraid of them. I finally got a brave dog.
@Mel. I suppose Ella May is still too baby to feel afraid of the thunderstorms !
@corinna. You're right. Our cool biz is our resistance against the heat when we cannot afford to consume the power which is running short due to AKW troubles. In Japan, generally speaking, we need the most power in summer to run the air-conditioner.

Chapter Three
Dana was thinking, "Yes, he has very beautiful hands, with long and lean fingers!! I can't wait for him to come back and to keep my wrist in his hand to check my pulse!!! I wonder which Longines watch he has on? Do you think he will check my heart too? Hehe!"
She heard a noise outside her examining room, and wondered? "Was I supposed to change too? He didn't say anything about me putting on an examining gown. Ahhh, and The Doctor looks so damn good also from the back! I hope he drops the stethoscope so I can look again."
She sat down in the chair and thought, "When I get home, the girls on the blog are going to want to know how my appointment was, and I hope they don't force me to say what I'm thinking about his butt!!" You just have to see him and you'll understand why I had thrills on my spine!! But you have to see his smile and his eyes too!!"
A little time passed. She thought she heard some movement in the room next door and realized, "GOD, he went to change his clothes in the other room and the door is slightly open!!!!Let me take another sip of water! God, it's so HOT in here!" That is exactly what she thought.
Just then The Doctor walked in and he was wearing dress slacks, a lab coat, and stethoscope, but he was also wearing a plaid shirt.
@Giffy. As corinna feels, I cannot wait for the next chapter, either ! my dear Giffy. It's supposed to be on Monday ! Quite agree with the plaid shirt ! Then, Dr. doesn't have to drop the stethoscope to give dana " a chance ", bc he can pick it up so quickly, but I think dana needs the situation which she can stare at his back for some seconds !
btw, I'm afraid I cannot find the good link to explain the girls' cool biz, Giffy. But I can say, it's just the typical sleeve-less dress which we wear in the sea resort !
@corinna. I think there may be lots of ways to save the power, such as LED. Hope you have a fun in Italy now, my dear corinna !

Hi, my ladies! Finally I have internet again! We had a big storm yesterday, in fact was just a very crazy wind, with no rain and the internet failed! Imagine me more than 24 hours without internet!!LOL Now it's raining and the tv cable failed!!! It's a craziness! lol
@Nicoletta I'm so happy that you're alive! LOL And I hope you feel much better bc I don't want you to have a coughing attack reading Giffy's beautiful novel! Haha!
@Ekaterina How's you finger? Still hurts when you touch it? I know the pain is not very strong anymore, but you said that it hurts even when you wash your hair... And I guess you miss playing piano very much, right? Sorry, but I don't know what's today, on June the 10th!?!:))

The repair goes pretty slow bc it takes time to dry all that material on the walls and ceiling. But it's on its good way, thanks for asking!:)
Unfortunately we have yellow to red codes for storm and floods all over the country, they already evacuated ppl from the risk areas. In Campina is warm and pretty sunny for the moment, but dark clouds are coming from north. I still have problems with the internet, it fails from time to time and last night also the power failed! I think I told you once what's about those codes for weather, the danger increases from green-yellow-orange-red, no matter is about rain, storm , floods, dog-days, wind...

It must be so pleasant to live in the house after the repair and maintenance, though you have to feel restless during those works even if you do not do anything except payment.

Tell your little sister that I'm sleepy too bc of the rainy weather though I haven't started the treatment from the shrink! :)) To be honest I have the pills, but I'm a bit reticent, I'm not sure that I want to take them! I know I'll be very very sleepy at least for 2-3 weeks and I think I can't deal with all the things I have to do at work! More than this my house is upside down and I can't afford to sleep when I come back from work. You know what I mean...

@ekaterina on saturday we had a mix btw sun and clouds, sunday it was real hot about 30°C and on monday it was raining and we went home after the breakfast! it was great, we was on saturday in torri del benaco, this is a real sweet little town on the east side of the lake!

You have a good sense of observation, dear Ekaterina! Yes, I woke up very early today, at 5 AM. Last night I took first pill from the shrink and though I was very sleepy and tired I couldn't sleep!:)) But I don't give up, I took another pill more than two hours ago! I read the prospect and these side effects will disappear after about two weeks! I know you're in bed at this hour so I wish you and your sister good night and sweet dreams! Do you think she dreams about other little cats, dogs, mice, squirrels...?:))) Love!
@dana. Please take care of you, my dear dana, bc it's not fun at all to have any side effects even if it will disappear in two weeks.
I think she dreams that she'll be like her elder sis, bc she wants to do anything I do. But I know she thinks she can do anything better than her elder sis. And I know it was my fault. Because every time she jumps and sits on the washing machine, I say, " Oh, you're genius, my dear little Ekaterina. I've been trying to do so, but I couldn't. But YOU can ! " and so on..... I also think she wants to tell me, " Please be good girl while I go out shopping. I'll buy something good for you. " and so on..... I think she wants to be my elder sis and also wants to be treated like a little baby sis. ... :-)))
@corinna. My piano tuner once said that a cat often jumps into the piano, bc the lid is open. So I haven't let her in the piano room yet. But after watching the Nora's performance, I started to think about inviting her to my piano room after I close the lid !
@Dana You won't belive it. Actually my son was in a thunderstorm and hyrdroplaned. His car spun around and he landed in the median facing the other way. Luckily, he hit the guardrail and not oncoming traffic. He didn't hit anyone and no one hit him, but he landed with a flat tire and had to be towed out. He's fine, shaken, but his car has needed some work. He's driving mine, and I've been trying to help him by making appt, getting estimates for repairs. Are you reading my mind? How did you know about the tire? Interesting? I always say it doesn't matter about the car, as long as my son is fine.
Anyway, sorry for the delay. I think its permitted to do a little rewrite on Chapter 3. We're all friends here after all. I wish Nicole would write a little chapter she's a writer after all, and I'm just silly...
Chapter 3 Rewrite
"I think I'll just poke my head out into the hall and see if anyone's around. I can always ask if I was supposed to change into an examining gown," mused Dana.
Through the open door of the room next to her, Dana saw the naked back of the doctor who had just pulled on his pants over some sort of neon green boxer shorts. "OMG! What beautiful muscles," and after the shock wore off she slowly backed into her own room. But she was mad at herself for waiting so long to check it out she might have seen even more.
Just then The Doctor walked in and he was wearing dress slacks, a lab coat, and stethoscope, but he was also wearing a plaid shirt.
Dana was still thinking, "Damn, that was a great view. I'm glad there's no nurses around! Why didn't I ask him about changing and I might have been able to get him to turn around and see the front!" Her gutter alarm went off!
The Doctor said, "I'm sorry I was running late. What can I do for you? How can I help?"
Dana responded, "You could help me with my heart. It is beating with an irregular rhythm. The beat is almost like a song by Morten Harket. Sometimes I think my heart is just too large, too full of love."
The Doctor growled, "Interesting. I'd like to check that out. Let me just warm up my hands." And he proceeded to clap them and rub them together lightly.
Dana noticed again what beautifully shaped hands and long fingers he had. He almost looked like he'd had a manicure. While he was warming his hands and adjusting his stethoscope she thought she heard him humming "Take On Me."
Dana thought, "That reminds me of something I would like to do."
Then with one eyebrow up the Doctor said, "May I?" and pointed to her chest and at the same time reached for her wrist.
"Why yes, yes of course," said the ever polite Dana as she thought, "whatever you wish."
As he was counting her heartbeats Dana was imagining herself on a beach somewhere relaxing, trying to slow down her pulse which was getting erratic due to the closeness of the doctor and his large warm hand on her wrist and one near her heart. It was impossible to concentrate.
The doctor looked straight into Dana's eyes and said, "I think you'll live as long as you have some very close personal supervison. Very close." And he did not let go of her wrist.
This is the comment I tried to post last night but it was impossible bc my internet issues! Hope it works now:
@Giffy Ohhh! Thanks God your son is fine! Poor him, I guess he was scared to death! I don't want to imagine what you've felt! I can't read your mind, maybe the connection between us is stronger than we think!:)) Give your son a big hug from me! In fact, give them both, to not create discrimination! LOL

And the phase with "Take on me" was great!! Haha! Awesome! The end of Chapter four reminded me about the beginning of this blog when I made that joke about me smearing my hand with glue and then shaking Aksel's hand to get stuck together!! LMAO But this time I feel HE will not let me go so easily!!! GUTTER ALARM!!! Hahahaha!

And I lost it... @Ekaterina I wanted to thank you for your concern and to tell you that I'm not as sleeping during the day as in the first day of treatment, but in the evening I'm very tired! I don't know why I wake up at 5 AM, it's like I have a clock alarm in my head! Or in fact it's that gutter alarm???? Hmmm! Hahaha!

@Dana & Ekaterina TYVM Ken is fine, thank you God. The airbags didn't deploy on the Toyota, Avalon which was amazing. The car hit behind the passenger rear tire. We're so lucky. It's in the auto shop until next Wed. The service station just called, nothing much wrong with it, that will be $1,200. Ugh!
@Corinna Thanks for being so patient! You'd be a good patient for the doctor but I think his office is full! :) My Mom says I should write a novel.
Chapter Five
At that precise moment there was a knock at the door. Dana thought, "How rude! Don't answer it!" Reluctantly, the Doctor let Dana's wrist slip out of his hand. He opened the door wide enough to see a man dressed in bright neon orange hunting pants, with matching jacket zipped open, and no shirt on underneath and his manly chest on display. He was also wearing a construction hat on his head at a slight jaunty angle. He seemed to be holding a chain saw, if that's possible in a doctor's office? This man said, "Which tree did you want me to cut down in front?"
To Dana the Doctor said, "Don't go anywhere. I'll be right back." And he walked out with the lumberjack to show him which tree.
"I wouldn't think of going anywhere. Waiting, waiting, waiting," thought Dana, "All I seem to do is wait. I'm ready for some action!" She stood up and walked around the room, did some deep knee bends, waved her arms around a little to limber up, trying to think of anything she could do to pass the time. What should she do next? She bent over at the waist to touch her toes and before she had time to stand up straight the Doctor walked in.
"Ahem!" said the Doctor. Dana could tell he was flustered because the end of his nose turned red and also a little blush spread on his cheeks just under his sparkling eyes. "I have some questions to ask you?" he continued with a smirk. Dana said, "Yes, Doctor, certainly," but what she was thinking was, "Ask me, Ask me anything." "Besides the irregular heart beat, are there any other symptoms," the Doctor said. "I'm not sure, perhaps, you should give me a full exam," continued Dana.
Is it possible there could be yet another delay? Yes, when you least expect it there was a knock on the door, and an ordinary looking short, flat chested female nurse came in. She looked like she could use a hairbrush or a shower. "Doctor, I'm just back from my coffee break. What can I do to assist?" Dana's mind wandered to, "You could back the h*ll up, back right out the door!" And the Doctor said, "We won't be requiring your services at all."
Your mom is perfectly right! You should write a novel! But, my dear Sis, do you remember what Elvis used to say? "A little less conversation, a little more ACTION, please!" LMAO Well, don't rush now, let the things go from themselves, step by step, to the grand finale! Haha! But now I have to ask you:how did you know that in the hospital yard are trees? In fact there it's like a park, with alleys and so many tall trees!! So the man who showed up (I still don't know who is he and what's his role in the story *wink*!!) has a lot of work to do there, bc some of the trees are very old! LOL But that nurse...Hmmm! Thanks for getting rid of her!! She was really annoying!! :)))
I'm really happy that Ken is fine, hope you gave him a hug from me! And tell him that he has an awesome mom! :))) But I'm sure he knows that by now!LOL

Thanks for this nice MIAU! Tell your little sister that I'm sleepy too bc of the rainy weather though I haven't started the treatment from the shrink! :)) To be honest I have the pills, but I'm a bit reticent, I'm not sure that I want to take them! I know I'll be very very sleepy at least for 2-3 weeks and I think I can't deal with all the things I have to do at work! More than this my house is upside down and I can't afford to sleep when I come back from work. You know what I mean...
Yes, the weather codes are very good, unfortunately we have to use them very often lately!
You're right, is very nice and pleasant to live in a house after the repair and maintenance, but I hope I'll live long enough to see all the things in order! :)))

@ekaterina on saturday we had a mix btw sun and clouds, sunday it was real hot about 30°C and on monday it was raining and we went home after the breakfast!

You have a good sense of observation, dear Ekaterina! Yes, I woke up very early today, at 5 AM. Last night I took first pill from the shrink and though I was very sleepy and tired I couldn't sleep!:))
But I don't give up, I took another pill more than two hours ago! I read the prospect and these side effects will disappear after about two weeks!
I know you're in bed at this hour so I wish you and your sister good night and sweet dreams! Do you think she dreams about other little cats, dogs, mice, squirrels...?:)))

I think she dreams that she'll be like her elder sis, bc she wants to do anything I do. But I know she thinks she can do anything better than her elder sis. And I know it was my fault. Because every time she jumps and sits on the washing machine, I say, " Oh, you're genius, my dear little Ekaterina. I've been trying to do so, but I couldn't. But YOU can ! " and so on..... I also think she wants to tell me, " Please be good girl while I go out shopping. I'll buy something good for you. " and so on..... I think she wants to be my elder sis and also wants to be treated like a little baby sis. ... :-)))

ReplyDeleteMy piano tuner once said that a cat often jumps into the piano, bc the lid is open. So I haven't let her in the piano room yet. But after watching the Nora's performance, I started to think about inviting her to my piano room after I close the lid !
@Dana You won't belive it. Actually my son was in a thunderstorm and hyrdroplaned. His car spun around and he landed in the median facing the other way. Luckily, he hit the guardrail and not oncoming traffic. He didn't hit anyone and no one hit him, but he landed with a flat tire and had to be towed out. He's fine, shaken, but his car has needed some work. He's driving mine, and I've been trying to help him by making appt, getting estimates for repairs. Are you reading my mind? How did you know about the tire? Interesting? I always say it doesn't matter about the car, as long as my son is fine.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, sorry for the delay. I think its permitted to do a little rewrite on Chapter 3. We're all friends here after all. I wish Nicole would write a little chapter she's a writer after all, and I'm just silly...
Chapter 3 Rewrite
"I think I'll just poke my head out into the hall and see if anyone's around. I can always ask if I was supposed to change into an examining gown," mused Dana.
Through the open door of the room next to her, Dana saw the naked back of the doctor who had just pulled on his pants over some sort of neon green boxer shorts. "OMG! What beautiful muscles," and after the shock wore off she slowly backed into her own room. But she was mad at herself for waiting so long to check it out she might have seen even more.
Just then The Doctor walked in and he was wearing dress slacks, a lab coat, and stethoscope, but he was also wearing a plaid shirt.
Chapter Four
ReplyDeleteDana was still thinking, "Damn, that was a great view. I'm glad there's no nurses around! Why didn't I ask him about changing and I might have been able to get him to turn around and see the front!" Her gutter alarm went off!
The Doctor said, "I'm sorry I was running late. What can I do for you? How can I help?"
Dana responded, "You could help me with my heart. It is beating with an irregular rhythm. The beat is almost like a song by Morten Harket. Sometimes I think my heart is just too large, too full of love."
The Doctor growled, "Interesting. I'd like to check that out. Let me just warm up my hands." And he proceeded to clap them and rub them together lightly.
Dana noticed again what beautifully shaped hands and long fingers he had. He almost looked like he'd had a manicure. While he was warming his hands and adjusting his stethoscope she thought she heard him humming "Take On Me."
Dana thought, "That reminds me of something I would like to do."
Then with one eyebrow up the Doctor said, "May I?" and pointed to her chest and at the same time reached for her wrist.
"Why yes, yes of course," said the ever polite Dana as she thought, "whatever you wish."
As he was counting her heartbeats Dana was imagining herself on a beach somewhere relaxing, trying to slow down her pulse which was getting erratic due to the closeness of the doctor and his large warm hand on her wrist and one near her heart. It was impossible to concentrate.
The doctor looked straight into Dana's eyes and said, "I think you'll live as long as you have some very close personal supervison. Very close." And he did not let go of her wrist.

I wanted to thank you for your concern and to tell you that I'm not as sleeping during the day as in the first day of treatment, but in the evening I'm very tired!
I don't know why I wake up at 5 AM, it's like I have a clock alarm in my head! Or in fact it's that gutter alarm???? Hmmm! Hahaha!
I'm sure your baby sister is happy and lucky to have you, no matter if as an elder or as a little sister! I know you love her and pamper her so much! And she told me that she loves you very much too! You know I can speak cats language, but shh!, it's a secret!! :)))

@Dana & Ekaterina TYVM Ken is fine, thank you God. The airbags didn't deploy on the Toyota, Avalon which was amazing. The car hit behind the passenger rear tire. We're so lucky. It's in the auto shop until next Wed. The service station just called, nothing much wrong with it, that will be $1,200. Ugh!

Chapter Five
At that precise moment there was a knock at the door. Dana thought, "How rude! Don't answer it!" Reluctantly, the Doctor let Dana's wrist slip out of his hand. He opened the door wide enough to see a man dressed in bright neon orange hunting pants, with matching jacket zipped open, and no shirt on underneath and his manly chest on display. He was also wearing a construction hat on his head at a slight jaunty angle. He seemed to be holding a chain saw, if that's possible in a doctor's office? This man said, "Which tree did you want me to cut down in front?"
To Dana the Doctor said, "Don't go anywhere. I'll be right back." And he walked out with the lumberjack to show him which tree.
"I wouldn't think of going anywhere. Waiting, waiting, waiting," thought Dana, "All I seem to do is wait. I'm ready for some action!" She stood up and walked around the room, did some deep knee bends, waved her arms around a little to limber up, trying to think of anything she could do to pass the time. What should she do next? She bent over at the waist to touch her toes and before she had time to stand up straight the Doctor walked in.
"Ahem!" said the Doctor. Dana could tell he was flustered because the end of his nose turned red and also a little blush spread on his cheeks just under his sparkling eyes. "I have some questions to ask you?" he continued with a smirk. Dana said, "Yes, Doctor, certainly," but what she was thinking was, "Ask me, Ask me anything." "Besides the irregular heart beat, are there any other symptoms," the Doctor said. "I'm not sure, perhaps, you should give me a full exam," continued Dana.
Is it possible there could be yet another delay? Yes, when you least expect it there was a knock on the door, and an ordinary looking short, flat chested female nurse came in. She looked like she could use a hairbrush or a shower. "Doctor, I'm just back from my coffee break. What can I do to assist?" Dana's mind wandered to, "You could back the h*ll up, back right out the door!" And the Doctor said, "We won't be requiring your services at all."

But now I have to ask you:how did you know that in the hospital yard are trees? In fact there it's like a park, with alleys and so many tall trees!!
So the man who showed up (I still don't know who is he and what's his role in the story *wink*!!) has a lot of work to do there, bc some of the trees are very old! LOL
But that nurse...Hmmm! Thanks for getting rid of her!! She was really annoying!! :)))
I'm really happy that Ken is fine, hope you gave him a hug from me! And tell him that he has an awesome mom! :))) But I'm sure he knows that by now!LOL
