New Video

Finally got the video done!!! It's not exactly the way I wanted it, but it will do & if I keep playing with it I won't ever get it done. LOL I hope you all enjoy it.

  1. I have a girl question. Ok so there's this guy at work & every time I see him my limbs turn to jello. He is a good looking guy, but so not my type. He's way too skinny & he smokes. :-( I've never reacted to a guy like this before. Has anyone else felt like this? Is it normal?

  2. @Mel.
    Yes, I often have a feeling of this kind, though he is not 100% my type. ... :-))) I guess our taste changes a little bit from time to time.
    But, I think he's such skinny, bc he smokes. I think you had better approach a healthier man, bc you're a healthy girl.

    btw, Mel, I've posted my comment here by Internet Explore for an year, but suddenly I could not. Then I'm now writing this and the last one possibly above by Google Chrome. I don't know why it happened. I can still post to ALS by Internet Explore Explore.

    Anyhow I try it again by GC now.

  5. @Nicoletta.
    Thanks, Nicolettchen !

    To my regret, I didn't enjoy " Lohengrin " last evening. The singers were replaced. I don't blame them for that, though. The radiation cannot be seen and heard, so they have fear for it. and we have many earthquakes still now, though we don't have them in Tokyo. But we even still have a certain fear, too.

    Well, then, thank you for several interesting tips for the Mediterranean Islands, Nicoletta ! I feel Ibiza sounds my taste.
    And I've been interested in Malta bc of " Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St.John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta ".

    I suppose the apple trees in the US were imported when our AKW was still tamed. I wouldn't think Switzerland has a plan to import them, of course. But I think you might have a chance to buy Fuji apple from the US. Try it as you find it !

    I'm going to the orchestra concert of Bayerische Staatsoper this evening. It's Bruckner Nr.9 !

    I'm immensely touched by your idea about Christmas gift for your H ! Giffy !
    I'm surprised, too, to know you had a phone call from your former boss. She needs you. I think you'll get much better job in near future, but it is not so bad to work for her for a while.

    ALS looks well and fine. I think he's OK if he will not suffer from the food poisoning. ... :-)))

    Hope you all have a beautiful weekend of October !

    Good choice, Giffy! I would also take the job! You know already the pos and neg, and that is ok so.

    I do not know what a fish finder is? Must be rather expensive ... LOL

    And may I ask you what is a practice blog on Wordpress?

    Would love to help you to find out a catchy name, Giffy.

    Cool video, Mel!
    Many thanks to you!

    Was amazing to see all the pics again! Especially the well sculptured body and the gorgeous smile! HaHa

    To your concern, Mel:

    Certainly I had the same experiences, many times!!

    It just happens, even if you don't understand way. May be it is kind of OPPOSITES ATTRACTS??!!

    But if you ask me, you are much more into men with muscles than a very skinny guy! LOL The video gives us the prove ....!

    Let it happen, Mel, the future will tell you more about this guy, and a little flirt is harmless!

    May I ask you a totally other question, Mel!

    If you have got the time and the interest, it would be so much fun if you could again lay the cards of ALS!

    Somehow I got reminded about Tarot cards and I thought of your prediction, etc. You did it in a very cool way!

    Certainly exititing times!

    Strange thing regarding your internet explorer!
    But anyway, I am very happy to have you back, Ekaterina!

    Sorry about the replacement of the singers from the Lohengrin!
    The situation is very said.

    Glad you enjoyed my short info about some different mediterranean places, Ekaterina!

    Wish you a great evening, Ekaterina, with the orchestra concert of Bayerische Staatsoper Bruckner Nr.9!!

    Enjoy!

  13. @Mel Great job on the video! I enjoyed seeing it all again. Hope ALS has a great ski season. I think the sensation you are feeling has to do with pheromones. Makes your knees weak, and is the stuff of love songs. I don't know anyone that smokes anymore. Tease him to quit for his own good.

    @Ekaterina Enjoy your concert. Hope its a great one. All the leaves are blowing off my trees and there are whitecaps on my normally calm little lake right now. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

    @Nicoletta LOL! A fish finder is a small computer devise like a GPS for fish. My husband wants one to mount on our little boat. He thinks it will help him have more success in fishing. I hope it works. Wordpress is another computer program that allows you to have a blog like this one. It's the one they use at work, so I need to learn it so I can edit. I was supposed to learn it over the summer but I didn't because I was mad at her. It would be for practice, but it should be about me. I'm thinking Giff Store but my husband wants Herbie's Moustache?

    @Dana & Corinna Miss you guys. Hope all is well.

    I am doing a very traditional American thing tonight. I am attending my 18 year old niece's Homecoming. She is in a contest to be the queen. She was elected by her classmates. There are 2 other contenders for queen. She will be given a crown and huge bouquet of flowers and reign for a year if she wins. The event will take place at a football game. It's a very nice honor for her, she's a beautiful girl, and I'm very proud of her.

    I agree with @Nicoletta.
    When you can find a time, I'd like you to play the tarot for ALS's new season !

    @Nicoletta.
    Thanks, Nicolettchen. But to my regret, Bruckner Nr.9 last evening was different from what I want it to sound. I think it was a matter of the conductor, Kent Nagano who is a Japanese American born in CA from Japanese parents.

    But it's OK, bc I have a ticket of Wiener Philharmoniker this month, and Berliner Philharmoniker in November. I think I still have opportunities to have a good time !

    @Giffy.
    Congrats to your niece, Giffy ! and I also enjoyed reading American nice tradition !
    I didn't know " a fish finder ", too ! But I know it now.

    Living near lake must be so beautiful. btw, is there beaver in your lake ?

    @corinna.
    Hope you're free from stress this weekend, corinna !
    btw, do you have a plan again to go to WC to watch ALS ?

    @dana.
    I understand you're busy preparing lots of things for winter in your kitchen. Hope you enjoy it, but take good care of your health, dana.

    Very sorry to hear the Bruckner concert no. 9 did not be like you expected!

    Yes, the conducter is so important! He is in a way like a football trainer and he is somehow responsible for the goals!

    Translated into the music, the highlights must be played very carefully otherwhise "no goals"!

    Hope very much for you, Ekaterina, next concerts with the Berliner Philharmoniker will deeply satisfy you!

    Wish you a beautiful Sunday in Autumn, Ekaterina!

  23. HELLO, MY FRIENDS!!!!

    I'm alive!!! LOL

    Sorry I haven't visited you for so long.... I was not only busy, but very lazy too... I'm a bit tired bc I don't know why I can't sleep well by night and I have no time for a nap by day!
    My treatment goes incredible well, I told you I have panic attacks, well, last Sunday, a week ago, I went out in the down town by myself!!! Without my dad, my son or one of my friends!!!! This is the greatest success for me!! I'm very happy and proud! LOL Though I admit I took a taxi, not by bus!
    On 25 October I have to go to B again for the biopsy of my thyroid and to visit again the homeopathic doctor. But I hope everything will be fine and I'll not need the surgery...

    Now to tell you how I've met the Norwegian rider...:)
    Last year, in September, my lady boss (who knows I'm a fan of Aksel and that I have a norwegian friend-AM) showed me in a news paper an announcement of a Norwegian guy who was seeking for a Romanian girl for a relationship.
    I was very curious to know why he wants a Romanian girl as long as he travels all over the Europe, so he could find a nice girl from another country... And I wrote him a very polite mail... He asked me that he visits Romania every year since 2008 and that he thinks Romanian girl are beautiful and more romantic and conservative than the girls he usually meets. And that he wants to share his very good life with her. I thanked him and that was all!! LOL
    This year, in June, after my first visit in B, I wrote my aunt a mail and I sent it. But, by mistake, I clicked wrong on the address, and I sent HIM my mail, not to my aunt! hahaha! He sent me a mail too, saying that he got my mail. I apologized, he said it's OK and asked me "did I know you? where do you know my address?". I told him about my mail in September, her asked me how's my life and step by step we've started to have a constant mailing!
    Incredible what a simple mistake can do!! hahaha!
    And this September, when he went on his vacation in eastern Europe it happened the great meeting! I was in B, at my aunt, when he sent me a mail:"guess what? I'm in Bucuresti too. If you want to meet me send me a SMS at ...this number" And I did...
    This is my funny story! And it's a real one!
    He wrote me a few days ago and he sent me some pics we took on his Harley. I think we are good friends now, we know better each other bc we talked a lot and we had a great time together.

    Sorry I haven't read your last comments here, they are too many! LOL
    But I can assure you I'm thinking of you all, and I missed you all!

    @Mel Great video! Thank you! It seems the new season makes us to think more and more of Aksel! LOL

    Wish you all a beautiful October and a great new week!

    Love you my friends! Kisses and hugs to everyone!!

    Thanks for the link, corinna ! According to it, the lowest temperature there tomorrow is only 4℃ ! It's really winter. I remember @Nicoletta said the temperature of Zurich at the departure time for her vacation was only 7℃.
    So, the snow comes down to 1,000 m in Rosenheim, I imagine the first thing you do every morning when you wake up is to check the Bavarian Alps from the window in your sleeping room !

    @Nicoletta.
    Exactly ! The conductor is very important.
    and thanks for cheering me up, Nicolettchen !

    @dana.
    I've been missing you so much, dana !
    and I'm happy you're back with the super story about your Norwegian friend !
    btw, your lady boss is nice. She and your great aunt are helping you as Cupid. and what a lovely mistake you took ! ... ;-)))

    I'm also happy you're well. and I think you had better take a taxi when you go out alone, too, bc it's more private.

    In Tokyo, I felt a fragrance of fragrant olive first time this year. Usually its season is in September. I think we had a very late start of autumn this year.

    @All ladies !
    Let's make a new week full of happiness together !

    Are you aware in three weeks we are following the race in Soelden!! Can you imagine??!!

    Today it was wonderful weather in Zurich, a real day of Golden October with 25 degrees in the afternoon!

    But as Corinna said, Winter is around the corner, it will change very strong!

    On Friday we will go down with the temperatures to 6-10 degrees only! Brrr I am not so in the mood!

    Why can they only have Winter in the alps? In the city it would be perfect with 20 degrees! LOL

    Good night, my friends!

    Hugs & Kisses!

  28. Thanks girls for your help. I do like a well built man, but I am a sucker for a pair of blue eyes, a 5 o'clock shadow & a great head of hair. I think I was 15 or 16 when I first saw him at Wal-Mart, he was a cart pusher then...now he's a co. So there fore I can't have him. I don't think we actually flirt...maybe subtle flirting I remember the first time I caught him staring at me. It was so funny. He came up the aisle, stopped dead in his tracks & stared at me for 5 minutes & then I had enough so I stared back. He started to freak out & acted like he was zoning the clothes racks. Then he came over & used my phone & asked someone to put up some clearance balloons. It was time for my lunch so I left & the girl that relieved me told me to come back up & talk to her for a few. As I was going back to the back he came out of the back with a bunch of clearance balloons. He didn't see me. So I went back up to talk & she told me that he looked over & when he saw her he looked disappointed. LOL Darn this sexual tension!

    I will do another reading for ALS tomorrow at school.

    @Ekaterina I always used Internet explorer, but for some reason blogger is no longer compatible with internet explorer. So now I have to use Google Chrome.

  29. Happy Monday everybody. Yes, my niece was crowned Homecoming Queen. I even tried on the crown when no one was looking. My sister has a dog called a golden doodle, which is a golden retriever and poodle mix, and I put the crown on his poodle puff. I'm very proud of my niece, and we had a lot of fun. The weather was miserable but still we enjoyed all the festivities. Nice to see so much of my family. I'm exhausted today, we played hard.

    @Nicoletta Thank you. I probably will use Giff Store. I need to get started on my practice blog. I meet with the intern who got my job over the summer tomorrow. But it's nice of her to meet me at her college. She's could refuse, but luckily she will share with me what she knows.

    @Corinna Loved the Emigrante Del Mundo song. Fun! I think my husband would dance around the kitchen to that. Good song for working out. I'll put it on my Ipod. Hope you got rested and recharged your battery. Glad to know about the Pig Finder, but no wild pigs around here! Haha!

    @Ekaterina Sorry the concert was Americanized! :( But the next one will be better. We don't have a beaver on this lake but we used to live in Richmond, VA and behind our house was a protected wetlands for wildlife and there was a beaver dam back there. The beaver's had dammed a little stream back there and a pond was forming. One Saturday we heard a chainsaw and (KJ was out there without a shirt on) sawed down the beaver dam. Well, it wasn't really KJ but someone did it. There was a rush of water, and I don't know what happened to the poor beavers. All their hard work destroyed. We have swans and Canadian geese, racoons and ground hogs, deer lots of deer.

    @Dana We have missed you, but glad you are getting rested and feeling stronger. Loved your story. Thank you for sharing. Fantastic! I don't think you are shy anymore, or have panic attacks. I think Dana and the Dr. helped. Haha! I am sending positive thoughts your way! Thank you, I did like Tommy Gun, and that song will be stuck in my head all day. I'm humming it now.

    Hugs and kisses all around. Much love.

  30. @giffy i have today one more day of weekend. today is 3 of october and that is german national day "tag der deutschen einheit"

    that is when west and east german get one country again!
    http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_der_Deutschen_Einheit

    and today is also a very sad day for my family and me! my grandma died on a 3 of october, and today it is her 4th anniversary of her death! she died 2007!

    i always get sad on that day! bc she was such a great grandma! but she also turned real old and told us always don´t be sad when i die one day, be happy for me that i be able to go home and see all the ppl who was already died!

    when she died she had a little smile on her lips, it was like that she was happy to go!
    she was 93 years old, when she died!

  36. @Corinna Happy German Unity Day! Hope you will celebrate. Do you bake a cake with the colors of the German flag? Also celebrate your Grandmother's life. She wouldn't want you to be sad, even though you can't help it. She would want you to remember the fun you had. What's the funniest thing you can remember about your Grandmother? I bet she was a wonderful lady. That's all anyone can wish for is to have a smile on your face at the end.

    @Nicoletta Yes, the Golden doodle is blonde too like the rest of the girls in the family. I'll let you know how it goes with my colleague...

    ReplyDelete
  37. @nicoletta my grandma always said "why i have to be for such a long time on live? why does god want that i be still here on earth?" and this she thought already from 86 years on!

    @giffy i had some great moments with my grandma, i learned to bake cakes and cookies and christmas cookies from her!

    when i was three years old, i told my parents that i now go by train to my grandma and granddad! totally alone! my mom then called her mom and so my grandparents came to us by train (my granddad was working for the traincompany here in germany) they catched me up on the railwaystation and then we go by train to freising, where my grandparents live and on the next day back home!

    oh and as a little kid i I could not swallow tablets, no matter if they was antibotica or other medicine, so my mom told me for every pill i swallow i get 20 pfennig (at this time we had deutsche mark and pfennig instead of euro and cents). my grandma had then an argument with my mom bc she said you can´t give her money that she swallow her medicine and my mom just said let´s see if this help, but i couldn´t swallow it! we tried it with gummibears and there it was no problem!
    i think i was something btw 6 and 8 years!

    haha no i didn´t bake a cake with the national colours! but i baked a cake lol
    i made a "eierlikörkuchen"

    and we didn´t celebrate this national day! just no work today!

    @all have a great evening!

    It seems you have the roller coaster weather, Nicolettchen !
    In Tokyo, the weather is stable, especially the temperature is stable in October.

    I always ask the remote service for my pc trouble, bc it saves my time. ... ;-))) I pay Euro 5 per month for the service. It's like a tuition fee. ... ;-))) bc I learn something from the telephone conversation with an operator.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Giffy.
    No ! No ! It was not Americanized. Kent Nagano seems just too nervous to conduct the music. Brucker's symphony needs a sound of something like a pipe organ, but he seems a little too much to try to concentrate on details of every instruments. As a result, the orchestra does not get the best sound effect.

    Thanks for the beaver info, Giffy ! btw, how many places you've ever lived ? Actually I don't know much about outside Tokyo.

    You may not believe it, but one of my neighbors keeps The na a hawk. It makes lots of people surprised. Normally there is no wild hawk in middle of Tokyo and it is thought the one from the hawk trainer. The name of a hawk is " Candy ", and his owner is a hair stylist of late 20's. According to him, Candy suddenly flied to his salon. ... ;-)))) possibly a strayed hawk from the training center. So he reported it to the police to seek the original owner, but he didn't get any contact from anyone, so he registered Candy at the police and took him to the vet and started to keep him.

    I decided to repair the window frames and also changed the carpets in our house to very new in this autumn. Of course I cannot do it myself and I ask the professional persons.
    It's nice to keep the house beautiful, but it's not fun to have restless days for that. ...
    I want them to let me know the time table of their work soon, bc I cannot plan anything until I know the date of their work at my house.
    So, I think I'll be much busier with my house in this autumn. But anyhow I made my decision. ... ;-))) My dad won't do anything, but it's OK, bc he pays. ... :-)))

    Hope you enjoy lovely autumn days in October !

You would think my dear H was in the military but he is actually in Marketing and we move for his jobs. I actually like it because I get to learn about new places and things. But all this moving has not helped my career as you know.

    @Corinna That is a very dear story about your Grandmother, and Mom. I know you enjoyed remembering her yesterday. Nice that you had the day off. I will look up the cake and see if I know it?

    @Nicoletta Hope all is well with you and you are having a great week.

    Thank you very much for praying for Steve Lee!

    He certainly appreciates it a lot because it is from Japan!

    @Giffy

    More or less I am healthy now, from time to time a little cough, because the mornings are so cold!

    I started to be a very good consumer of sugerfree candys (Hustenbonbons)!

    @Ekaterina/Giffy

    In Croatia we visited a trainer of wild birds like hawks, owl, small eagle.

    He presented kind of show and earns a little money with that. I have got very much impressed!

    See you tomorrow!

    Hugs & Kisses!

  49. @Corinna I was able to open both links. That cake looks delicious. I copied the name of the cake into google and it came up with an english version larger bundt cake. It said with eggnogg flavor, and chocolate shavings. Is that right? I could use some chocolate right now.

    I met with the college girl who is doing my job for free for college credit. She doesn't really want to give it up. It looks good if she says she has maintained a website and done social media marketing like Facebook, Twitter, etc for a year. So I will do the work she doesn't want to do and she will get the credit for her resume. I will do it because I like the product, but I will also keep looking.

    " Golden October " and " Indian Summer "are introduced even for us in Japan as the seasonal terms from overseas. Every time I hear those, I feel they just sound sophisticated.
    In Japan, to my regret, we don't have such beautiful seasonal terms. Instead,we have another expression which is not at all sophisticated, but accepted throughout Japan. We call autumn as " Appetite Autumn ". I don't know exactly why it is called in this way. I guess we have a long summer with the both high temperature & humidity which often make our appetite less, and when autumn comes, our appetite comes back, they explain. As for myself, the appetite stays the same level throughout the year except for sickness. So I always feel weird whenever I hear someone says " appetite Autumn " with a smile.

    In fact, there is no " Golden October " in Tokyo, bc the leaves have not even started to change colors in October. And we don't have " Indian Summer " in Tokyo, bc the temperature from October to November is mild most of the
    time. But I love these seasonal terms even if we don't have
    them, bc you have and enjoy them.

    I'll be happy if you let me know of more such beautiful seasonal terms, and help me out of Only " Appetite Autumn " ! ... ;-))) Please. .....

    @All ladies !
    Have a great weekend !

    It was in summer in 2009 when I visited Zugspitze, and it was +2℃ there with full of sunshine. Naturally I thought how much temperature it had in winter. and -8℃ already in October ! So, you can expect " King Winter " again, corinna !

    ReplyDelete
  73. @Ekaterina

    You are right, Ekaterina, your temperature at the moment is exactly the ideal Summer temperature that I like! LOL

    I would also not be so much attracted by the Appetite Automn! HaHa

    But on the otherhand I enjoy very much if the fresh and new apples come on the market. At the moment we eat Rubens apples!!

    The grapes are also great and I love my Birchermüsli with this fruits in the mornings!

    After the short Winter break we will go back to the Golden October and perhaps we enjoy also a beautiful November without to much rain, wind and mist.

    The good weather in October/November is also very much important for the wine culture! Sunny days before the grapes are taken give the wine more sweetness.

    Enjoy a beautiful day, Ekaterina!

    And the same of course to all Ladies! Have fun!

    Hugs & Kisses!

  74. @Nicoletta Are you wearing your booties now? Mostly I wear clogs in fall, winter, spring, so comfy. I did have my flip flops on yesterday it was so nice. I dream about booties. I need to look for a pair for me.

    @Corinna Yes, on Jon's blog about the breakup. The very last comment in the comment section. Hope you are doing something fun this weekend.

    @Ekaterina I wouldn't like appetite autumn either. I took pictures of the leaves on my walk. The colors were so lovely yesterday. Maybe Mel which post a picture of Ohio leaves which I know are similar to mine. I need to take a walk today. Good for my mental state.

    Thanks for the wine culture tip, Nicolettchen. So, the last moment of days shortly before they are taken makes magic that produces the good wine ! and I love the grapes, too. The Fuji apple, btw, comes to me possibly in November or early December. They are still on trees !

    yes, Giffy, one week closer to get a fish finder. I think it's especially nice that you buy something not for you, but for someone who is very important for you !

    and it was a special rosary fest in our church!

    You live in the place which has long history ! Tokyo is too young with a shorter history !

    btw,I've tried to check the Rosenkranzfestes, but another site appears, though I don't know why. But is it on the second Sunday of October ? Am I right ?

  81. @corinna.
    Thanks, my dear corinna ! It was successful !

    Now I understood why you were in your church in October 7th. yes, it was the special rosary fest.
    I learned the naval battle of Lepanto in school, but our teacher did not talk about the rosary. So, I'm happy to know about it more than before.

    corinna, let me introduce you about the touching happening in my childhood. As I mentioned before, I was educated in Christian school from the elemetary school to Uni. It's Protestant school, but people from any other religion were also very welcomed, I mean the both students and teachers.

    I have a cousin of my age, and she was also educated in Christian school, but it was Catholic. So she had several pretty rosaries, red, pink, yellow, blue,... I thought I wanted rosary,bc it's beautiful, but my Protestant school was not interested in it, so I didn't know how to get it.

    One day, I happened to know the nurse at my elementary school was Catholic, so I asked her how to get it. I was 7 or 8 years old then. She said she had several rosaries and she would give one of them to me. I was so happy about it and I visited her room the next day. She showed me the rosary made from white stones ( beads ). I was disappointed, bc I wanted another color of my favorite like pink or red. But before I said I wanted another color, she began to talk.

    She said, " It is the most precious rosary of mine. I was given it by the principal of the school of theology. " I was so surprised to hear she said so, bc she was going to give such a precious and important rosary to a 7 or 8 year-old girl who was only wanted to have a rosary simply because it looked pretty.

    Of course I hesitated to take it , but before I declined her offer, she said, " I give it to you. " But she actually looked hesitated to hand it to me for a few seconds, but she said once again " I give it to you. ", and I took it.

    Since that day, the rosary has been placed by the cross in my room. To be honest, I almost forget about it most of the time, but I've never completely forgotten about it.

    I didn't even know the rosary consists of 59 beads until you posted the link, corinna. I counted the beautiful white beads of my rosary, and yes, it has 59.

    The nurse who gave it to me left my elemetary school one year later and moved to another school. I was too young to ask her address, so I don't know her whereabouts. But I'm very proud of my beautiful white rosary, bc I think it's my first pure experience of Christianity. I hope I've not betrayed her. .....

    @corinna, & @all ladies !
    Hope you have a great new week !
    LOVE, kisses & Hugs !
