Happy Birthday, Dad!!!
Today is my Daddy's Birthday. He's 62 years old. Tomorrow is Father's Day. So this weekend is all about Dads.

I am having an awful day. I just want to go back to bed and start all over. First I wake up at 4am on a Saturday... A SATURDAY!!!!! Then I go to straighten my hair and my straightener snaps in half. I thought I was going to electrocute myself. Then my mom asked me to go an get her car washed and I had the window open and a bird shit in the window! I must have the worst luck today. Anyway....

The Cameroon v Denmark game made me furious! I was wanting Cameroon to do well, especially because the loss means they can't advance out of the group stage but....man, oh man, I was yelling at that tv! I was shouting orders...I felt like the coach or something! And I'm completely serious! I kept telling the players that there were open spaces, or that they needed to advance, or that they needed to defend...I was furiously shouting at them as if they could hear me! My mom was laughing at me...but I'm sorry that was frustrating! They had plenty of chances to advance and make a move and get a good shot but they just sat back! :/ They didn't play well at all!!!!!!!

Jake wants his cake & he wants it now!!! LMAO My poor little Jakey is starving for cake & now he wants cookies. He wanted me to come home & get the cake that I made for my family reunion because they(him, Elizabeth & Jeanette) are more important. *shakes head* I'm gonna make him a red velvet cake for Wednesday. I just have to feed the growing boy.
Well my sleep schedule is all messed up now. Between getting up at 6am this morning, cat napping a bit this afternoon and then dozing off again tonight while watching movies with the kids, I am now wide awake at 1am! Yay for me, haha! Back to my Sex and the City marathon. ;D

The kids were awesome tonight...all of them were exhausted from playing and swimming today so that was good for us, they weren't all rowdy as usual. :D We watched 'Tooth Fairy' (I love Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, yum!)and then the little ones all went to bed. The two oldest ones stayed up to watch 'Avatar' with us but that is when I nodded off...one of these days I will get to see that movie. I liked what I've seen so far.
@Mel Well then bake the man a cake and some cookies! LOL! You will definitely put him over the edge with both I'm sure. ;D

Yeh, that wall has "survived" the war! There was an anti-aircraft shelter in that period. This wall is very close by my cousin's house!! I've really missed The Cathedral, The Opera House, The Bega river... Did you tested tuica? LOL Oh, I've noticed the romanian sheep are so photogenic! Ha ha!

@suzanne i´m tired, i was yesterday night out, coming home at 4am and wake up at 9:30 am. and as you see on the songs i´m just had/have a little bad mood today
@corinna...am hoping a little nap will cure your bad mood. if that doesn't work, i suggest moving on to the big guns....chocolate. :) seriously...try some deep breathing....in through the nose, out through the mouth...focus on deep breaths...i know it sounds silly, but it does help you chill. all is well in kansas city..thanks so much for asking:) it is going to be a scorcher...35 degrees...and so humid the air will feel like 40 degrees. double yikes! hopefully i will finish my chores in early so i can hit the pool. ciao chica...it will get better:)

@All I was thinking of taking in some of my punch bowl cake to him today because I won't see him for 3 whole days. :-( I'm off today & then he's off Monday & Tuesday. I won't see him much Wednesday. I get off at 2:30 & he comes in at 2:30. Is it bad that I can still feel his touch on my arm? I think it's strange & odd. Perhaps it's a sign.

ReplyDelete@corinna...am hoping a little nap will cure your bad mood. if that doesn't work, i suggest moving on to the big guns....chocolate. :) seriously...try some deep breathing....in through the nose, out through the mouth...focus on deep breaths...i know it sounds silly, but it does help you chill.

@dana...the sheep were everywhere in the mountains...by the spring where we swam, the creek by the house where we stayed...really every hill you looked. i took more pics of the sheep than of people...lol:)
oh..yes, i did try the tuica. wowza! i think you could use that stuff as jet fuel..lol:)

@All I was thinking of taking in some of my punch bowl cake to him today because I won't see him for 3 whole days. :-( I'm off today & then he's off Monday & Tuesday. I won't see him much Wednesday. I get off at 2:30 & he comes in at 2:30. Is it bad that I can still feel his touch on my arm? I think it's strange & odd. Perhaps it's a sign.
