    Love the pic, Mel!

    @Corinna

    Thank you for the large information about the thonderstorm!

    Some parts of Switzerland were also concerned with havy damages. Thank god in Zurich there was not such a severe thonderstorm.

    The pics and videos are very impressive. Thanks, Corinna!

    @All

    Have a beautiful & happy new week!

    Hugs & Kisses!

    Thanks for the full infos about the heavy storms ! It's not far from Chiemsee where you surely know I've been there.
    It looks like the year 2011 is the year of the global natural disaster. ... :-(
    I do hope you'll enjoy the lovely and pleasant summer days after the historical storm !

    How is cough ? I've heard the respiratory muscle stretching exercises are helpful. Did you try it ?

    Very nice hear from you, AM ! from the midnight sun. We call it " white night " in Japan, though we don't have it. ... ;-)))
    I often wonder how the animals and birds decide to sleep during that period. We can manage to do it by closing the drapes and so on.

    I visited Herreninsel in summer 2 years ago, and stayed there nearly whole day ! Schloss Herrenchiemsee was the main purpose to visit there, but I really enjoyed everything there !

    @all ladies !
    Hope you enjoy beautiful summer days free from the storms !

    It's the update here.
    * Power Struggle * literally.
    TEPCO supplied 49 million kw at 11:00 today, and we demanded 91% of it at 11:00. Generally speaking the peak of the demand is at 16:00 in summer here. We are trying to save the power, but it's so hot today around 36℃, so we need the power for air-conditioner.
    It's around at 14:00 now, and it's hotter than at 11:00. I think the Power Struggle will be thrilling around at 16:00 today. I imagine TEPCO is trying very hard to supply more than 49 million in 2 hours by running the thermal power plants. It's still in June, and we'll have to have hotter days in July & August.

    So today is the first thrilling day for us in this summer. The blackout or not.
    The Power Struggle continues for next 2 months. I want TEPCO to show us they can supply the power by running the thermal plants. If the blackout happens several times in this summer, the stupid politicians and people will start thinking about the HONEYMOON with AKW.

  9. @ekaterina i hope that there will be no blackouts!
    here it is hot too, but we need no air conditions! i hope that you will not sweat away!

    what do you think about this as an alternative to an aircondition?

    Yes ! Handfaecher is one idea which we have used for hundreds years, and we still have it.
    But, less power than we need. ... ;-(

    Thanks for the link, corinna ! Although my pc wouldn't work for www.bilder-space.de, that's the thing I want to ask my pc-support-system by phone, but the line is always busy. I'll try it again when I have time. I'm always interested in this link.

    btw, corinna, TEPCO says they supply us 49,8 million kw tomorrow. 0.8 million kw more than today. I think they will power up little by little day by day.
    We use Handfacher when we're out, but the air-conditioner is the best at home.

    Have a nice evening, my dear corinna !
    Kisses & Hugs !
