@Ekaterina My shouldar is still bothering me. I think I'm gonna call the doctor again tomorrow & see if he can make so I'm only allowed on the 20 items or less.
@dana. The all TV channels in Ronamia report it very correctly, dana. First one was 7.1 and then 6.6 and so on. We have had more than 30 earthquakes from 3.8 to 7.1 in last 7 hours. The actual spot this time is in Fukushima. I don't mean it AKW, but simply Fukushima. AKW are OK so far. and, my baby sis, my dad, and I are all OK. Thank you so much for attension, dana. We felt 4 shakes out of these 30 in Tokyo.
The earth is the living creature and we don't know much about it. The plate has been quite restless since last month. I think I want to look inside the earth if possible. It might be something in 1,000 years,
We had one again just now. It was 4.5 and we didn't feel any shake here. But anyhow we've had so many tonight.

You're right, the Earth is a living creature and we don't know much about it! Anyway, we've harmed it so much! And I started to think that civilization leads us to self-destruct! Think just of arming, nuclear power, pollution...

Wow, what a kind of great review of so many impressive pics, I know them all, and the last one made me think. We know Aksel very well, one side of Aksel I mean, the other side is his own private life and thoughts.

Unfortunately I heard that a lot of later earthquakes are to be expected, after the situation you had! So I think it is a great gift that you are able to take it like you do. Staying calm and realistic is the best! All my compliments to you, dear Ekaterina!
Hope you feel fine and have no further troubles with your health! At the moment. I have to fight with a combination of hay fever and a cold! I am coughing, and I lost nearly my voice. The voice is back now, but I sound very peculiar!! Especially when I laugh, I sound extreme!

Thanks,I'm still coughing so now I take ACC600 and I feel better! My thyroid makes my heart go crazy every day but I calm it down with a pill every morning. In a way, I can't wait to go to Bucharest to get the right treatment or a surgery, though I hate hospitals! lol
Here it snowed a little last evening and a little in the morning, but then it was sunny and crazy windy! I thought the spring has come, bit it seems I was wrong!:)

* The latest info on our AKW * The Fukushima 1 remains the same as yesterday. It's still on the way to avoid the worst situation and I believe it is possible to be successful, however it'll take time. Then, NISA ( our govermental instituation ) stated the Fukushima 1 is at the level 7, the same level as Chernobyl of '86. I'm typing this while watching the press conference live by NISA in the TV. So it's the latest news. But the story going on in F is very different from C. It's the important point and the different importance. So we are not in a panic with the news, bc everybody have thought it might become the level 7. But we cannot accept it without big sigh. ...
btw, the earthquakes still continue, although they are around 6.0 and no tsunami so far.
I read in the NZZ about the severe situation, and that the AKW in Fukushima is now a 7!
Yesterday, I was worried and also a bit amuzed as I saw the latest news from Japan, my dear Ekaterina.
In a camp, they showed the the life of the people and a little eartquake occured! Especially the children are frightened so much, and go to the Mamie to look for shelter. Other small children war sitting together and taking a little meal, because it was raining they are again afraid of a Tsunam! The children are suffering so much, it is a pitty!
Also older people have several problems because of blood circulation, trombosis, etc., and now, I would like to finish with some positive, Ekaterina.
I saw 4 olderly men enjoing their first bath in a newly built kind of bath area, and the men were so happy to go back to normal!!
I know from you, Ekaterina, that Japanese enjoy the bath, and it is kind of daily ritual!

btw, yes, we have 30 in 7 hours. Although we are used to the earthquakes normally, it's absolutely unusual even for us.
@dana. I can't wait for Easter especially this year, dana. Truly I wouldn't like you to go to the doctor, bc you don't like it. But I imagine the thyroid trouble sometimes make you feel that you are not you who you want to be, and I think it's so unpleasant to you. I'm sure the doctor helps you control it as you like.
Nobody can explain when & how the earth was born, but everybody knows it has lived much much longer than us. So I used to think we had better respect the charcter of the earth more than we do.
In Japan, every time we build the house or the building, we have the ritual ceremony called " Jichinsai ". It is the tradition from Shinto which is our ancient religion. The purpose of Jichinsai is to let the soil know that we are going to touch it and pray for soil not to be wild. The soil is first there, and we come the next, so Jichinsai is something like asking permission to build something in and on the soil while paying respect to it.
I suppose Japan has had so many troubles caused by the nature in early times, and someone had an idea how not to make the nature angry.
The governor of Tokyo just said, " It's the divine punishment ! " shortly after the 9.0 in March 11, and we all agreed with it. Because, in Shinto, we have countless gods, and they are believed to live in every nature. Although Shinto is no more religin for us now except some people including our Imperial Family, Shito's ways of thinking sometimes revives when something happens like March 11. So, we can accept it a little bit easily and can keep calm and carry on. But AKW is different, I think. It is our product and we were so much and were too careless about it. Tepco underestimated the real power of the nature by thinking they are superior to it, I think so.
Take your time, my dear dana, until you see the doctor in Bucharest after Easter !
@corinna. yes, you're right. There is the high possibility that the more earthquakes including around 8.0 hit us in 6 months after the Big one. One month has passed already, so we have to be careful for the next 5 months. But it is not always easy to be careful, bc it often comes suddenly. ... :-((( Our proverb says " The earthquake comes when we forget it. " Fortunately we don't forget it now. ... ;-)))
My baby sis, my dad, and I are well & fine. Our house is built strongly on the very stable soil and high from the sea and river level and not so near from the sea and river. @Ekaterina Jichinsai-what a beautiful tradition!!!! To ask permission to build something!!! Very profound! We have other tradition, not as ecological as yours: we put a fir tree on the ridge of the house when we finish to build it. We say it brings us good luck, wealth and prosperity. You can find the fir tree in many of our traditions, even at wedding and funerals.
You're right, we have to keep us humble and pay respect bc the Earth made us, not us made the Earth!
Thank you so much for your concern and for taking care of me! Yes, the thyroid makes me feel so weird sometimes. It took me pretty much to understand that I haven't some other health problems, I used to be scared bc I didn't know what's happens to me. Sometimes I have panic attacks, which is very unpleasant! :)) I'm sure at Bucharest I'll find solutions for many of my problems.

@Nicoletta Yes, we have a very capricious weather these days. Here, in Campina is cold and windy, but in other regions the winter has come back! The snow storm makes big troubles to ppl living in the north and in the central part of Romania.

@ekaterina my ankle is good so far! today it was raining and i was for a "coffee" or better for a ice tea, out with my best best best friend ever, she was my best friend when i was around 16 years and we was together in school, but then we lost us,bc she moved and i was going to another school, but now we have us back!we saw us once a year, but that was more coincidence! but today we decided to do more together and we both are real happy about it!

btw, I'm going to the opera tomorrow. " Der Rosenkavalier ". Since March 11, the operas & concerts I planned to go have been all cancelled, and at last I can start it tomorrow, although several casts are replaced to Japanese singers, to my regret. But anyhow, it starts !
Since March 11, people in even Tokyo has hesitated to stay out at night except work, bc we worry about the another big earthquake like we had in March 11, and lots of gatherings, parties, dinners were cancelled. The last time I went to the concert was March 09.
Tomorrow is the weekday matinee of the Opera in Tokyo. The premier was set to be April 07, but the Opera couldn't open that day. I think they do that tomorrow unless the another earthquake comes. It begins at 14:00 and ends at 18:20, so my friends and I booked the table for the dinner at the restaurant in the Opera. It's the second time for me to dine out after the 9.0 and the first one is, as you see, the dinner with chocolate fondu with my dad on my BD.
But I suppose several operas and concerts will be cancelled again for the coming weeks and months, bc our AKW was stated in the level 7. However my baby sis might be happy that her sis stays home at night !
and, YES, exactly. The Japanese Bath. Our ground forces of SDF has the team to offer the bath in evacuation camp in the disastrous areas. Normally every Japanese cannot go without the bath in bathtub. But the disaster this time spread the vast areas, so everyone of the people in the so many evacation camps cannot take the bath. They still lack of the doctors and medicines, too. For many people in the disastrous areas, the time still remains at 14:46 in March 11. But some people have already started the new life in the newly built tentative houses. The tentative house has 2 or 3 small rooms with a small kitchen, and a small bath with a bathtub. People who lost their houses can live there for 2 years for free. The refrigerator, cooking oven, the washing machine, and the air-conditioner are purchased by the donation from the red cross. But as the numbers of the people who need it are just many, so many people have to wait.

@Dana My dear Sis! Did you have snow? How are your apricot trees? I was supposed to start my job today but my new boss called this morning and said I should wait. Her 85 year old mother needed her care. She gave me some reading assignments and asked me to research into other companies and competitors. I spent my day reading Marketing at home and it was very intereting. I wonder if I get paid? It's not all about pay for me but it would be nice. I have my eyes on a new pair of shoes with my first paycheck. LOL! I think I'll cash it into dollar bills and roll around in it!

Our ground forces of SDF has the team to offer the bath in evacuation camp in the disastrous areas. Normally every Japanese cannot go without the bath in bathtub. But the disaster this time spread the vast areas, so everyone of the people in the so many evacation camps cannot take the bath. They still lack of the doctors and medicines, too. For many people in the disastrous areas, the time still remains at 14:46 in March 11. But some people have already started the new life in the newly built tentative houses. The tentative house has 2 or 3 small rooms with a small kitchen, and a small bath with a bathtub. People who lost their houses can live there for 2 years for free. The refrigerator, cooking oven, the washing machine, and the air-conditioner are purchased by the donation from the red cross. But as the numbers of the people who need it are just many, so many people have to wait.

ReplyDelete@Dana My dear Sis! Did you have snow? How are your apricot trees? I was supposed to start my job today but my new boss called this morning and said I should wait. Her 85 year old mother needed her care. She gave me some reading assignments and asked me to research into other companies and competitors. I spent my day reading Marketing at home and it was very intereting. I wonder if I get paid? It's not all about pay for me but it would be nice. I have my eyes on a new pair of shoes with my first paycheck. LOL! I think I'll cash it into dollar bills and roll around in it!

@Nicoletta Hope you feel better! No laughing. It took me about 3 weeks to get over my cough. Does your partner mind about your voice? My husband would probably be glad if I couldn't speak.
Speaking of my darling husband planted a tree in China at the factory he visited. It was an honorary tree that they have international people plant, and will put his name on a placque? Who knew?
